now that the dust is settling from this month-long celebration, i'd like to thank everyone who participated, whether as an organizer or a player...

this month long celebration seemed to have a little something for everyone with it's varied events and activities... prizes were plentiful, and it seemed a good time was had by all.... quite a thing to celebrate our 5th anniversary!

I'd also especially like to thank A5Chow for her most excellent leadership of this entire project-- i'm not sure i've ever seen any Village project run quite so smoothly.... and this also speaks well of the outstanding staff that she recruited to staff this celebration.....

There were more people involved than i even knew about, so i'd invite A5Chow to post here herself, with congratulations to her entire staff!

I found all the events entirely awesome! And I'm sure everyone will agree A5chow and her staff did awesomely awesome of awesomely radical awesomeness.

Congrats and thank you to Jenny and everyone else who helped out. It certainly isnt easy to plan an event of that magnitude, but it seems everything went off without a hitch. Great job everybody!

The events were all fun and I met several new people from everything! Huge congrats to everyone that worked on it to make it a huge success!

Thanks to everyone that organised this! It was great fun, I met people I didn't know and really felt a part of the Village. This was so wonderfully coordianted. Efforts like this really do bring us to gether, making one of the best Runescape communities out there!

It was an honour being able to coordinate and organize the 5th anniversary of RuneVillage. Of course, I could not have done it without the Birthday Bash Team so I definitely cannot take the whole spotlight. They have done such a wonderful job in planning and coordinating their own individual events and in supporting me as a coordinator as well.

It was very fun planning it. It took several months of planning, creativity, organization, teamwork and cooperation. My vision was to include events to celebrate RuneVillage's 5th birthday in which all ages, groups, timezones, and so forth can participate in so no one in the Village is left out.

We still have yet to announce some winners from our Color-It-In contest and we will be shortly as soon as judging begins. We also have some outstanding winners who still need to pick up their prizes from Jackstick as well. The topic can still be found here: viewtopic.php?f=236&t=416259

I would also like to thank all the donators. Your generosity has made several people happy on this occasion and it has allowed them to reach certain goals that they couldn't reach before. And to all participants. It truly makes me smile to know that people are enjoying the events we have planned for them.

But foremost, I would like to thank Hiker. Without RuneVillage, I would not have had such pleasure playing RuneScape, meeting new friends, developing diplomacy skills in which I use in real life, share my experiences, and I definitely would not have been able to find the someone who is so special to me. So thank you, Hiker, for giving us RuneVillage.

I was honored to be able to be an organizer this year, it was a great experience, and some of the best times I've had at RuneVillage, spectacular job to A5, and all the organizers.

The Drop Party was an excellent way to finish off the month of celebrations, I'd think it was the event with the most bountiful amount of attendances, which makes the party so great. Free things, while spending time with friends, doesn't get much better than that.

The Castle Wars Event was spectacular as well, I really enjoyed that.

Great job once more!
