The night before D-DayWednesday, December 27th, 2006 @ 12:13 am (EST)As we've mentioned, we've made plans for Applequest to visit me during this holiday. Well, that day has pretty much arrived. On Wednesday, December 27th, 2006, Applequest will be arriving at our local international airport.

! My heart is beating a mile a minute right now, and I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.

Since I wasn't able to arrange a ride for us, Apple will be taking a taxi and I'll be meeting him in the lobby of his hotel. Anyway, so I'll be keeping you guys posted about what's going on in this post. Poor sweetheart, has to wake up at 5 am to leave on time for his plane. Wish us luck!
D-Day: Applequest arrivesWednesday, December 27th, 2006 @ 9:08 am (EST)Well, this morning, the alarm clock didn't wake Applequest up on time so he's running at tad bit late. I was only able to see him for a little bit. And then my dad gave me the, you know, Father-Daughter talk about relationships then handed me $100 to spend. Strange day so far. I haven't gotten over my cold yet either (sorry hun!). I'll keep you posted.
Wednesday, December 27th, 2006 @ 10:00 pm (EST)Just came home

It was really amazing. So I met Applequest in front of the hotel. Apparently, he beat me to it before I came. We both gave each other a big hug when we saw each other. We both knew we were super nervous at first, lol. Then we went up to his hotel room and we unpacked his things. We had also called home to let them know that he had arrived. Applequest has really gorgeous eyes by the way.

Anyway, so we went to this Chinese restaurant that my family goes to on occasion. It was pretty packed which was surprising for a Wednesday evening. But we got a pretty nice table and waited for my mom and sister to come. Applequest was trying to hold chopsticks which was soooo adorable

. Half the time while we were eating, he was battling with his chopsticks. Eventually, he let them win and resolved to using a fork

. He was getting quite good at holding them though. Then after dinner, we drove him back to his hotel and I got to hold his hand during the car ride (yay

). Then we gave each other another big hug good night.
I know that not much has really happened but it was being with him and the feeling being with him. That was what made it an incredible evening.
Day 2: Our official first dateThursday, December 28th, 2006 @ 6:33 pm (EST)So today was our first official date. I wouldn't classify our outing yesterday as one because my sister and mom were there and we couldn't really do much in front of them either.

Anyway, so we decided to watch a movie and have lunch today. I spent the morning trying to figure out the best bus route to get to his hotel and then had left to go there. Got there and went up to his room to pick him up and then headed out again. We had just caught the bus on time and made our way to Kelsey's. We shared a Caesar salad and I had a Balsamic Chicken Penne dish and Apple had a Steak Burger and fries. Because
The Holiday wasn't playing at the theatre we were at, we decided to watch
Happy Feet.
The movie itself was alright. The plot was different from most animation movies I've seen. It was cute, entertaining, but eccentric at the same time. We ended up cuddling with each other while we were watching.

After the movie, we bused back to his hotel room where we kissed each other. Eventually, my mom picked me up and that was the end of an amazing first date.
Day 3: The third dayFridaySo this is Apple writing if you couldnt tell. Not much to speak of happened yesterday. Jenny was working for most of yesterday so she couldnt make it over until pretty late in the afternoon. When she got here we just hung around the hotel for awhile then we went for a little walk and did some shopping. We then went out for dinner together. Then we came up the hotel room and made a fun stop into the RV chat. After about a half hour of that she had to get picked up and that was the end of day 3. As for day 4, I think we are going out to lunch, and going shopping with her aunt. Im not quite sure yet.
Day 4: What a day, lolSaturday, December 30th, 2006 @ 9:45 pm (EST)Phew, lol. So today, getting to Applequest's hotel was a hassle. I decided to take the taxi and my taxi driver was RUDE. I asked if he had change for $100 and he goes, "Do I
look like I have change for $100? Why didn't you tell me to go to the gas station?" And I was like, "what the hell?"

Anyway, Applequest and I went to the drug store to buy a few things like cough medicine (sorry that you caught my cold, baby

). Then we went to
Pizza Pizza and ordered a medium pepperoni pizza. I ate one slice, he ate the rest

. It was also my little cousin's birthday today so we bought her a musical jewelery box which played a really nice song with Hello Kitty rotating around when the box opens. After that, we bused back. Busing with Apple was nice.

He had his arm around me and my head on his shoulder with my hand on his thigh. We went back into his hotel and waited for my mom to pick me up. After two hours, my mom turned out to be too busy to pick me up and so I bused home myself.
On the way home, my aunt and uncle drove by and picked me up and we turned around and went back to the hotel, lol. Unexpectedly, I showed up at Applequest's hotel room. He got dressed and we went back down to the lobby and got into the car. First, we went to Pacific Mall and followed my aunt around as she did shopping. She's a really quick walker lol. I turn around to give Apple a few kisses then turn back around and she's gone

. The line in the store was huge so we lined up for her. She took a little too long so we had to let a few people go in front of us, lol. Then I ended up paying for her.

After that, she ditched us to walk alone around the mall for 15 minutes. We bought Bubble Tea, strawberry flavor. Applequest doesn't like Tapioca lol. Then we went to another mall, Scarborough Town Centre, and walked around looking for my mom. It took us a while, but eventually we found her. My mom wanted to buy Apple something and he got to choose what he liked. She bought him a shirt. We were then ditched by my mom, aunt and uncle again so we began walking around the mall. We bought a few gifts for friends of ours then went back into the department store to meet up with my family again. My mom had to go and so my aunt and uncle took us to this Sushi Buffet called Sake. It was really good and we were pretty stuffed lol. Then we were talking about plans for new years day. My aunt and uncle wanted to take us to Niagra Falls, so I thought that was really nice and that it would be romantic

. Does anyone remember the legal age to gamble in Canada?
So yea, we drove him back to the hotel. During the car ride, we threw in some more kisses while we were in the dark in the back seats.

(And yes, Applequest is a wonderfully talented kisser.

His lips are incredibly soft.) We dropped him off and went back home.
Our plans for tomorrow? Hot tub.

Really, lol.

Day 5: New year's eveSunday, December 31th, 2006 @ 11:37 pm (EST)So to save time since I had to go out later on tonight, Apple and I decided to take the taxi. Apple, as sweet and charming as he is, wanted to pay for it (Thanks honey

). So I called the taxi service and it was a lady who took my call to go to the hotel before. Surprisingly enough, she said, "Ooooh, someone's a naughty girl," and started laughing. "Climbing into someone's bed to take a nap, I see..." I was pretty startled

. Anyway, so the taxi came and drove me to the hotel where Applequest waited by the front. Apple then paid for the taxi and we immediately headed towards a family restaurant called the
Golden Griddle. They had a breakfast buffet there. Apple had a ham and cheese omelet and I had a Belgium waffle, both with a side of bacon and potato totters.
Anyway, after that, we went back into his room to change into our swimming suits then held hands to go down to the hot tub they had available. We got downstairs and it turns out the hot tub wasn't working. The water in the hot tub was just as cold as the swimming pool beside it. So they called the maintenance guy and he mumbled a bunch of things Apple and I couldn't understand. I was freezing at that point, so we went back upstairs to his room. Then we got under the covers and cuddled until about an hour later when we went back downstairs to check if the hot tub was fixed.
Aaand it turns out it wasn't. So up we went again and changed in something warmer, lol. We still had time to spare so I got to sit on Apple's lap with his arm around me while he played Runescape. I helped him clear out his bank

. Now he almost has a full page empty!

After that, we decided to go back on bed and cuddle again for a while until I had to go. Apple then brought out my Christmas present, (I forgot to bring his

), and it was this really gorgeous silver diamond necklace. It was really beautiful.

Diamonds are girls' best friend.

No, just kidding. It's something I could wear everyday and it's my first real diamond gift. And to receive it from someone as special as Applequest is means a lot to me. As silly as guys get, he forgot to take off the price tag, and OMG was it expensive... (Baby, you really shouldn't have... I really do love it though.

Thank you so much!) And then it was time for me to go. To save time again, I called the taxi, and it was the same lady who picked up the phone earlier, lol... This time, she was like, "Ooooh, woke up from your nap, huh?" And started laughing. "I'm sorry, I'm just picking on ya. Your taxi will be here shortly."
Theeeen, I went home

. Tomorrow's plan? Niagra falls.
Day 6: New year's day at Niagra FallsMonday, January 1, 2007 @ 7:26 pm (EST)So someone knocks on my door at 8:26 am in the morning on new year's day. I open the door and find my dad telling me that it's my aunt on the phone. She then tells me that she's going to drop off my cousins at our house and that I should call Allen (Applequest) and let him know that they'll be over there soon. Half awake, I call Apple's hotel room and woke him up really early (sorry, baby!). I told him that my aunt will be coming to pick us up in an hour or so. Then I went to tell my mom to get ready too because she was going with us. My mom took over an hour and a half to get ready. She loooooves taking her time.

Anyway, so Apple and I were on RS in the morning after we both got ready. I followed him around while he did his tree planting routine. Gave him 4 Maple tree seeds which I got from my kingdom. After his routine, we just danced (or followed) around until my aunt and uncle arrived.
Above: Me getting ready!
Knowing that Apple's most missed meal of the day is breakfast we bought muffins, donuts, and a cup of French Vanilla (mmm...) for Apple. We had to drop off my sister first at work before picking up Apple. My mom, once again, takes her time, goes to the bathroom at work, eats a donut nonchalantly, and sips her coffee really slowly

... And finally, we make our way to Apple's hotel room. Arrived at the lobby, I head up to Apple's room, gave him a kiss, let him get ready, then we're off. Apple chose the sprinkled donut

. Then he had a few sips of French Vanilla, which we shared. So it was a two hour road trip to Niagra Falls...
On the way, we went through downtown on the parkway and saw Lake Ontario, really old buildings, the CN tower, Air Canada Centre, Skydome, and a bunch of other things. Pictures below!

Below: We decided to let my aunt take pictures instead.
She was at the front passenger seat.

When we finally arrived at Niagra Falls, my uncle took the wrong turn into the road to the U.S. border and we were stuck in traffic

. Bored, we snacked on mint Hershey's Kisses. And then we found an exit where we drove backwards, lol. We were like, "wow, is that legal?"

We then drove around to find Casino Niagra and eventually found it. We parked on level 1 and made our way into the casino. Then took pictures of us standing by the water feature that they had by the main entrance.

We're in Niagra Falls now, in the backseat of the car.

By that time, it was 1 pm. So then we made our way into the actual casino. Apple and I took out our driver's licenses and showed them our I.D. (Yay for Ontario's legal gambling age!

) And Apple had shown me his image, the one he took when he was 15. And LOL, he was sooooo cute!!! His hair was short and he was all smiley, heehee. Anyway, we went through the Casino to the buffet they had in there. My aunt and uncle went to the bathroom while my mom, Allen and I waited in line. It was about $15 per person, taxes excluded. Apple and I wrapped our arms around each other while we waited in line. Then threw in a few kisses here and there as we moved along. Finally, my aunt and uncle came back and we were seated shortly after. For lunch, Apple had a ham, cheese and egg toasted sandwich along with a meat pie, potatoes (the only vegetable present on his dish

), and some other stuff. I had mixed veggies, pasta, mac and cheese, and chicken. Then for desert, Apple ate icecream with caramel topping, and I had a (I think it was) chocolate icecream cake.
Above: Cool statue by the actual casino entrance.Apple and I finished early so my aunt, uncle, and mom let us go first. We were to meet them at the car at 4:30 pm. We went to the ATM machine and Apple withdrew some money. We went to look around for some Blackjack tables but their minimum bet was $50 or $25, which was a bit too expensive for our taste. Eventually, we decided to play slots instead. Apple inserted a $20 bill and pulled the lever. On occasion, I'd kiss Apple for good luck, lol. It was really cute. Then there was a lady who wanted to play and she kicked me out of my seat

. So I sat with Apple on his chair. We kissed a few times for good luck again and we seemed to have stop winning. Then we kissed longer this time and Apple made a Max Bet. And to our surprise we got
7 7 7! Woohoo! Our machine made noises and people came over, lol. Apple won $60.75, a $40.75 profit

. We were really excited, lol.
(Disclaimer: Gambling is bad, don't do it kiddies.
-Apple)Then we made our way outside of the casino and wanted to go look at the actual falls itself. It was really nice and peaceful. We took some pictures, kissed a few times, then took pictures for someone else, lol.
Above: Niagra Falls!

Above: Applequest and I outside by the falls.

Above: Water fountain outside. We also walked around, looking for some place private where we could just be with each other in peace. We found out that the casino actually has a Chapel, lol. Apple and I sat in front of it and kissed. Although it was quiet, people came by too often and we felt that we lost our privacy

. So we walked around and eventually found a small empty level where we enjoyed our privacy again and cuddled... Until some curious tourists came up

. So then we just walked around until it was time to go again. We did found a Blackjack table that had its minimum bet as $5 but it didn't look like it was going to be freed up.
So we walked back to the car since it was 4:20 pm then. We were a bit early so we stood by the car and wrapped our arms around each other as we waited for my mom, aunt and uncle to come back. It was getting pretty dark by then. During the two hour car ride back, I napped on Apple's shoulder while he had his head on mine. At around 6:15, we dropped Apple off at his hotel. I got to walk him up to his hotel room and to our surprise (not really

) they locked him out again.

So we went back down to the lobby where we kissed and ended our new year's day together.
Day 7: Applequest meets my dad... DUN DUN DUUNNN!!!Tuesday, January 2, 2006 @ 11:37 pm (EST)Today I had work. Which means that I get off at 2. Which means that I'll be seeing Apple much later

. But that means I get to eat dinner with him

.
Anyway, have an exhausting day at work, I came home at around 2:30. Both Applequest and I hadn't had lunch so we decided that we should pop by the restaurant located downstairs, beside the hotel lobby. Eager to see each other, I took the taxi to the hotel again. We made our way to the restaurant and ate Chicken Quesadillas. They were really good. I didn't really like it with sour cream but it tasted great with the salsa. I have yet to try Apple's homemade ones

. We had planned on using the hot tub because we called and they said they had repaired it. So we went to check it out again and it turns out that, although the water was much warmer than last time, the whirlpool wasn't working. We tried fiddling with the timer they had on the wall. Beside the timer was this big and shiny red button...
*Press!* Aaaand the alarm goes off. Oops.
Apple and I couldn't stop laughing as we made our way up to his room. When we got in, we made ourselves comfortable and started cuddling. Then I had called my dad and asked if he was available to eat dinner with us tonight, just to get over with the bring-home-the-boyfriend thing. My dad said sure and I asked if my mom would like to come with too. And she said sure as well. We thought that it would have been nice if we got my dad a present just as a friendly gesture. So after cuddling for a bit more, we went out to this oriental mall. Inside we went into a Chinese herbal store. We weren't too sure what to get my dad. Half of the things I didn't recognize. So I asked the lady at the counter about what we should get for him. She pulled something off from the counter and said this would be good. It ended up being $65. But we got a discount since it's the holidays.

Poor baby, he was really nervous. I could really see it in his eyes, lol. I kept on reassuring him that he'll do great.

My dad isn't too keen on interracial marriages which is why he wasn't too happy. So we got a seat at this Chinese restaurant, the same one that I took Apple to on his first night here. At first, they seated us in the basement, and I called my mom to let her know that we were. She said that my dad doesn't like being in the basement. So we waited to switch tables. After approximately 15 minutes, we were seated (again). My dad can be a really unpleasant person. I could tell Apple was feeling really uneasy at that point.
So first my mom arrived. She sat down, and finally my dad came. Apple shook my dad's hand and they both sat down. Then Apple handed my dad his gift. Then it was quiet... My dad wouldn't even look up. I tried breaking the ice between us but it was quite difficult. My poor Apple, lol. They were both being really polite to each other. Apple tried asking my dad some questions. My dad answered. Then it was quiet again. We ordered, food came, we ate. Applequest was really really good with his chopsticks! (Go baby!

) Then it started to hurt his hand while he held it for too long

. So we asked for a fork, knife and plate, hehe. Apple offered to pay for the bill. My dad won

. Then my dad offered to drive him back to his hotel.
After we received our change, we went and left. My mom and dad came in two different cars because they both came from different places. Apple, my dad, and I went into one car; my mom in the other. We sat in the back and my dad drove in the front. So we were driving... driving... driving... until my dad made this unusual turn into a parking lot and parked. He then asked Apple to sit in the front seat. Both Apple and I looked at each other, not knowing what's going on, and both really scared and nervous, lol. So Apple went to sit in the front passenger seat. All of the sudden, my dad gives Apple a speech. What he said is personal but it lets us know that my dad accepts the fact that I really do love Allen and that I do want to be with him.

So after all of that, both Apple and I were glad we had dinner with my dad.

And today's lesson? Stay away from big and shiny red buttons.
Day 8: Our final full day togetherWednesday, January 3, 2006 @ 11:41 pm (EST)Today, we went to do some last minute shopping. So I bused to the street by Applequest's hotel. Outside by the bus shelter stood Applequest who waited for me to signal him to come on. So he boarded the bus and we sat down together.

Then an elderly couple came on and we gave up our seats for them. We were about to get off to transfer buses anyway, which we did, and made our way to Scarborough Town Centre. There we walked by Second Cup and on the table were gifts. I bought Apple's mom gourmet coffee, cocoa, and hot chocolate.
Then we made our way outside to go to Milestones. On the way, I spotted the new restaurant and grill that had recently opened at the mall called Moxie's so we decided to try out that place instead. Inside, it was nice, hip and modern. They've dressed their waitresses horribly though: skimpy black mini skirts, tight black tank tops, knee-high black boots, and they happened to be all blonds

. Oh well. At least our waitress at our table was nice. Apple had a Beef dip and fries while I had a Chicken Penne Primivera. For desert we shared a really good cheesecake. While we were waiting for our food, there was this hockey game going on between the US and Canada. Apple didn't know who to root for, lol. He wondered if he should cheer if USA won

. So anyway, at this point, I started feeling sick. Apple, being a gentleman as he is, was so caring, gentle and supportive. But I really wanted for us to spend our last day together without any problems.
So anyway, then we went to the Source to buy AA batteries for Apple's mouse. After that, we went downstairs to the Post Office to send off gifts which we got for our friends. The one that lives in Texas will receive his next week. The one that lives relatively closer to me will be getting his tomorrow.

After that, we went to Coles to buy a Wikinomics book, one of the bestsellers they had there for Apple's dad. Then we went by a bag store and bought Apple a bag to carry stuff in. Lastly, we bought a CD for Apple's brother. Apple also got himself a CD too.
At that point, I was feeling really sick so we took the taxi back to Apple's hotel. Inside Apple's hotel room was the maid watching TV while cleaning, lol. She said she'll just wipe up the bathroom and leave. While she did that, I climbed into Apple's bed and rested. Apple climbed in from behind and wrapped his arms around me, hoping that I'll feel better. Then we cuddled for quite a while. Lying down really helped make me feel better. And so did Apple.

After that, I helped Apple pack and tidy up his room so that he'll be ready for tomorrow. I'm hoping to get there early tomorrow morning so that I can spend the rest of the hours that I have with Apple.
Day 9: Departure day for ApplequestThursday, January 4, 2006 @ 9:22 pm (EST)Wanting to spend the last few hours I have with Applequest, I woke up at 8 in the morning and started getting ready to head over to his hotel. But then, my dad came over and gave me this really long speech. What's worse was that he took half an hour. Then waiting for the bus also took what seemed like forever. I was upset because it took two hours from the time I woke up. But when I finally got there, all of that didn't matter. All I wanted to do was to be with Applequest before he goes. I promised him that I will wait for him to return. I also tried my best not to cry today, lol.
This week truly has been the best time of my life. To have someone who you love so much fly over hundreds of miles just to be with you is a God-given gift. I've never had so much fun being with someone. Nor have I ever felt so complete as a person in Allen's presence. After all of this, I've realized that there is no one I rather spend the rest of my life with.
