When you fight the level 64 at the end of the quest you must use 2 special attacks on him with the mace.

I don't understand why you had to do this. One special attack drained his prayer, and I then meleed him normally.

At level 96 that's all I had to do as well. It probably just depends how much damage you do with the special, I did a 5 I think.

All in all not a bad quest in my opinion, although they did make it flashy and that's why it took so long... some people like updates that way though I guess.

Hehe... Moving-over-distance sphere... Those who get the pun in that I have a new respect for.

You may want to add that you need to go SOUTH when in the tunnel to find Zanik and Tegdak in the beginning of the quest :D

-- The tunnel is on the second floor
-- The council member is center-north on the second floor.
-- Oldak is due northwest on the first floor.
-- Sigmund has 70 Hit Points.

What an annoying fight.

I had to do two specials at 118 combat at 76 prayer, so it's probably mostly luck. Maybe it helps to be maging him and then switch over to the special, as he had protection from melee on both times when I used the special.

I used Zanik as a blocker and just waited for special to recharge.

Hmm, from what I see, this could be an interesting way to recharge a few prayer points, at least. Definitely a good boost before doing any prayer-heavy task, like barrows, I was boosted to around 64/54. Maybe it's like you regain prayer points according to how much damage you deal, even over max, which is awesome. Still, the entire special bar...then again, if you're using something like a greataxe that doesn't have a special attack, then who needs it? Drain prayer, then greataxe would be an awesome combo, especially at low hp...I wonder if we can drain the kalphite queen of her prayer points? This bears researching!
