OOC: I just did that. However, everyone is going to be dead in ten seconds or so if they don't get their butts out of the canyon before the ship blows.

“I think I should try to get out of here” Draugathiel thought. She would have got out easily, but, as she was trying to climb out of the hole torn in the side of her ship, her foot bumped the control panel. “Clear the area, energy extraction for emergency takeoff beginning in 30 seconds. Clear the area, energy extraction… ” A computerized voice stated. “Help!” Draugathiel yelled. “This ship’s trying to attract those energy waves!”

Sagaku was still rummaging when he heard a computerized voice. He then blasted a hole in the side of the ship, and jumped out. He then started running away toward the large crowd, then dissapeared right behind them, in the direction of a lead on his parents. 'I'm so close, let's hope it isn't a dead end.'

Not hearing anyone voulenteering to come with him, Nartus got down on all fours and began to run back to the city. "Time to track down that guy..." After a bit of running he turned back. The Leyra and Human were no-longer in sight. Turning forward again, the city was just ahead.

Suddenly, Nartus turned his head, seeing another wave coming close "Will these things just stop!"

He jumped out of the way just in time, the walked slowly, catching his breath, into the city.

BOOM. "And there goes the neighborhood." Klinkin flew out of the dense waves, and, coming toward the city, lost lift on his board. Landing, he started to walk back to town, seeing a few of the crowd heading back.

“At least I got out before those energy waves hit” Draugathiel thought. She had accidentally let go of the window edge and dropped to the ground, landing on her quiver. She quickly grabbed both quiver and knives and ran for all she was worth. The explosion had triggered a rockslide that buried whatever was left of the ship.

"...Whether you join me or not." With that, Lucius strutted proudly off to his quarters to pack a few necessities for his trip, as it would take at least a day to reach his destination. Once he was properly packed, he hefted his pack over his shoulders and headed out of the palace without looking back.

While walking down the streets of Lercenia City, Lucius scowled at the state of things in the streets. Common beggars, seeing his fine clothing and cleanliness, asked for money, to which he curtly replied negatively, and continued on. More than once while passing through the Market District he saw a thievery of a poorly guarded food cart, one of which the hungry burglar was apprehended.

When he finally reached the city gates, he took a breath of the fresh outside air. This was truely his calling, not to be stuck in that terrible castle his whole life. And with that, he set off.

OOC: Azag, if you do choose to log on and continue roleplaying, just roleplay Kalat going after Lucius. I don't want to wait in case other things are more important for you and life gets in the way =P.

Djanzad left the rubble pile over the ship and left toward the rift. He sprints off rapidly toward it and eventually makes over to the ledge enough to spot Sierra avoiding the waves in a safe area. He notices that for one reason or another they make no attempt to escape thus rushes down to the creature Sierra. With his mask still down he says to them in a somewhat metalic voice "Well then, you're a strange one... need some help out of this hell hole? Well even if it's suicide, I'd rather not leave you here." After finishing he grabs them and bolts up the side until taking both of them out of the pit presumably to a safe area. "Now then, what is a creature like you doing in a place like this. And... this here, a tranmitter, quite refined, I'd love to see how it works sometime." He says poking at the headset.

Selling his silverware and assorted other household metal items, Klinkin thought he saw someone from the crash scene. He looked well enough off, and in fact just about the wealth level of an average customer. However, he was too occupied with keeping the beggars off to notice Klinkin's nice stall. Oh well...

Sierra heard no malice in the voice speaking to him, so she decided to respond. "While travelling, I took a wrong turn, for reasons I cannot explain due to not knowing. I wound up out here, and had to seek refuge for the night until just today when I heard this man", she indicated toward Marchen, "talking into his equipment. I had hoped to get directions to get out of that area and return home. Because the terrain was both so foreign and far away from where I first came from, I was not sure that I could get out easily, which is the only reason I exposed myself."

Sierra stomped the ground once, vibrations tingling her whiskers as she internally mapped out a general picture of the surrounding area. It turned out that they were still in the ridge area, but well outside of the pit. She sighed as she sat down, missing the feel of grass and wood. However, the waves that were a threat to everyone seemed to come by less where they were, the ground was much harder and smoother... Not to mention the air smelled a little different. Sierra felt it safe enough there to remove her blindfold, so her eyes did not become un-used to air and matter on them as normal people do. That didn't stop her from only seeing white.

She turned her head to where Djanzad's breathing was. "Thank you for helping me out of that area." Then she looked back at the ground, wishing again to be home and alone.

Nartus was wandering the streets of the city, and noticed some beggars poking at a rich looking fellow, trying to fetch something from him just because he looked rich.

Nartus, living alone, felt how they felt, having nothing. For a long time he had lived alone on the streets, but never begged. He felt alone in the world, and figured no-one would help him. One day however, he found work in a simple postal business. It didn't get much work, but when it did, Nartus was the fastest one in the small business. Eventually, he had enough money to rent an apartment where he lived now.

But his mission as of now was not of delivery. It was tracking down the hooded stranger who tricked him into going out to the Ridge and nearly caused him to get his soul sucked out by wacky energy waves.

But he had to make a quick trip home. After walking a few more blocks, he opened the door of an old looking building. He walked up two flights of stairs, when suddenly an old man came out a door and shouted "Rent?"

Nartus sighed. He didn't get paid enough for his job.

BIC: Klinkin had had his most, well, interesting customer yet. Completely covered in a black robe and cloak, nothing of the person's face could be seen. However, he wanted to make a large purchase. A very large purchase of knives. Klinkin could see where this was going... However, recently more rich people had been moving away and more poor people moving in, so Klinkin had to sell to who he could. He just got the cloaked person to sign a waiver saying he had bought knives number 14123, 12548, 75498, etc..., just in case he tried to kill someone. Klinkin wondered who would be worth killing in this town, anyway. Maybe he was going to go to another town to do it... In either case, it might be wise to warn that person with all of that equipment. Or Klinkin could just catch the person himself and get the bounty. Unknown to the stranger, hidden in Knife 54743 was a small tracer; likewise with 14123 and 65943. After closing up shop, Klinkin went after the person, who was heading toward the residential district.

Nartus, after paying his rent, went into his apartment. It was a shabby place with a tiny bed, a small closet, a bathroom as small as the closet, a window, and a small dresser shorter than his legs.

He pulled open a drawer, and stuck his hand back a bit, finding his small wallet. That's what this apartment was... small. Sighing and pulling out his wallet, and slamming his drawer, he slipped the wallet into his pocket.

Nartus looked out the window, seeing a cloaked man walking through the street. Wait... It was the man who tricked Nartus into going out into the Ridge. What was he doing over here?

After a few minutes, Nartus left the apartment building, just in case the cloaked man had it in for him for... whatever reason, Nartus could not figure out. But that's when he saw the human walking by, heading in the same direction as the cloaked figure. It seemed like he was holding some sort of tracker... (OOC:Sorry if he isn't holding any sort of tracker, Tahu, I just need a reason to follow.)

OOC: The reason is because I'm rather obviously shadowing him from your point of view. Also, the tracker is located in my glasses, so you see them lighting up.

BIC: Looking at his IR top-down view, Tahu saw someone else moving on the same path. Was he following the stranger to? From the brief glimpses he caught of the second hunter, he was another person from the crash. "They just keep turning up everywhere. It really is a small world. Or town."

Standing up from behind the rock that had shielded her from the explosion, Draugathiel noticed that she was alone in the valley. Having no reason to stay in the canyon, she decided it might be wise to get out of said canyon. This decision was instantly solidified by an Eternium wave that missed her left ear by about an inch. She quickly scanned the canyon wall and located a path that looked safe. She bolted up that path, not noticing that another set of tracks led out of the canyon. As the trail became steeper, she was forced to slow down and watch where she was putting her feet. It was then that she noticed the set of tracks. Curious as to who made the tracks, she began following them. They led out of the canyon and… not watching where she was going, she tripped over a rock and fell, producing a tremendous amount of noise. Quickly picking herself up, she saw two humans and a Leyra standing ten feet away. She didn’t recognize two of them, but the third was the human who had disassembled the engine on her ship.

The robed figure sure knew how to shake off pursuers. Klinkin was finding it hard enough to shadow him with three-dimensional coordinates accurate to five inches. So far, he'd used three secret passageways, entered and exited ten buildings, and done a good job of shaking off any pursuit except Klinkin and the other person after the stranger. He was as good a tracker as Klinkin had ever seen, and even without a tracking device was doing well. Klinkin was just wondering how long it was before the person reached his destination.

Sierra's ears snapped upward and turned toward approaching footsteps. Her head jerked toward the source of the noise as she drew a dagger with her left hand and pointed it at the approaching figure, being able to feel the footsteps at that point.

"Who are you?", she asked loudly. If the oncomer was a bit closer, Sierra probably would be able to match the person's breathing with that of the voice that was shouting for help only minutes before. (Yes, even breathing can be a distinguishing factor among people.)
