For the first point, take it up with bluecoat, because I didn't recieve any PMs. It was all made up. I don't know what a detective viewing you would say.

As for the second part... Right as I claimed you pretty attempted to cast doubt on the role, even if you did vote. That's scummy looking in anyones eyes.


As for the others... Well, you go to that "pro mafia site" or whatever, you should know how to read people.

BlueCoat, Janny wasn't inactive, he just didn't post in the topic. I assure you he read it almost everyday, if not more.

Also, even though I was mafia, I still need to point out this is why we kill off inactives *cough*Penguin*cough* so you don't have a 1v1 with 5 people left.

To be honest, that "pro mafia site" has games that require more logic than looking for scumtells, using logic to play is something that I can do far more efficient than trying to read people. Also, on EpicMafia you don't have to sit there reading through paragraphs, if not essays, of people defending themselves/attacking others, it is more fluid as people voice their opinions piece by piece and work off other's ideas instead of lazy people (like me) sheeping because they don't want to spend 30 minutes reading everything and analyzing what was said.

And apart from encouraging people to only sign up if they're planning on be active, we really do need to encourage in-game activity somehow...it's all too easy for mafiosos to hide under the cover of inactive villagers, as we saw in this game.

Mentos, I'm actually familiar with epicmafia, since my sister had an account. I've read some of the discussions they have on their, and I wasn't impressed. After about four games, neither was she.

You can't use logic alone on this site, because everybody knows eachother, and won't necessarily follow a pattern as result. On larger sites you can use logic alone, because everybody is just data. I've actually had this debate a few times with Top, too, and I stick by it.

Well, the whole aspect of having a list of roles instead of people not knowing how many roles there are and what roles they are makes the game immensely different. I'm not sure what you are going about with not being impressed on the games but there are some purely dense people on that site along with the occasional troll.

I guess I wasn't exactly clear on my last post about not being able to read people. With a chat-based mafia game, it keeps you active with reading and analyzing what players say instead of being thrown a big block of text all at once. I imagine that some players really don't mind reading all that crap and analyzing it but for me, it's just not worth 1 second of my time to go through and read all of it.
