Paidea he did not mess up the tracker/watcher thing; he did not claim to be either a tracker or a watcher. While yes, the bulk of his role has a greater resemblance to the tracker, he still has to see his target as they enter/leave houses and visit people, stalk him through the town. Watch him. if you will, as his target goes about their night actions.

Paidea for the major obsession with absurd technical detail, plus being the first to vote for a claimed major role without giving any chance for him to prove it.

Major FoS on Dragon and J Assassin for their votes, plus the whole "Sherlock Holmes would investigate" thing. Sherlock Holmes was a detective, yes, but the scope of his methods easily included tracking as well.

The creation of Upick roles are based upon wiki articles/the host's knowledge if the character is someone they know.
Sherlock Holmes is widely known for being a detective, not a tracker.

Top is also bound to making the game balanced, if someone chose nocturnal detective or something like last game, a tracker would still adequately fit Holmes and keep the game relatively balanced.

...because Sherlock Holmes was also known for being a roleblocker, and because tracking somebody would give you the ability to watch who visited them. Right. Too many flaws in what Scar claimed. This is u-pick, Steely, everyone is going to have a special role or claim to have a special role, we're going to have to be lynching people who claim special roles eventually. Your suggestion was to wait on him to prove himself legit. I think we all know what happens when the town "waits around" for something to happen.

I concur. We must lynch him now for the sake of the metagame, we MUST teach people that they can't go around claiming "anniversary" and expect leniency. Topsummoner.

Sherlock Holmes is widely known for being a detective, not a tracker.

...and Optimus Prime was known for hit and runs when he was in his truck form. You point is moot.

Also, back in insanity mafia, I was a Sherlock Holmes afficianado, when I was tracker. I don't mind votes on Penguin or whoever, but don't base it on technicalities that could be the host's fault.

That's not part of Scar's role.

Too many flaws in what Scar claimed.
Like what, exactly? I see very few. The only "flaw", per say, could be the roleblocking aspect of the name/role relation. Then again, Joseph Stalin from the last game turned out to be a driver. There are no inherent contradictions in Scar's role, and his role does not conflict with any information we have learned yet. I see no flaws.

Did I say we just wait around for something to happen? No, I said we wait on Scar because he's clearly going to be one of the more powerful power roles.

Yeah, my vote stands.

Correction to my last post: The sentence "I see very few," the second sentence after the second quote, should have been deleted.
