switcheroo -- new position

We are announcing a "switch" in position for A5Chow... she's giving up her "Elder/Legends" position to assume the rank of "Assistant Staff Administrator."

She's actually been doing much of the work of that position as head honcho of the RV 2.0 team, but now it's become official and will continue past the release of RV 2.0.

In this case it's easy to say i know you'll do a good job-- you've already been doing it!

Oh wow, wasn't expecting a global. Let's see... Basically, this position is more or less temporary. I will be using the role as an administrator to coordinate the Site Maintenance forums, be working with the leaders of the behind-the-scenes groups to get them up to par with the new standards for RV 2.0, reorganizing the Website Submissions forum, as well as working with Glodenox and Jackstick on several other projects, which we can't reveal just yet!

The difference between this position and my old one is that my main focus is site maintenance, so I won't be dealing with HR issues such as warnings, bans, unbans, name changes and so forth.

After I've completed my projects and have the ball rolling again for website maintenance, it is likely that I will resign and become a Legend/Elder again.

Youve definitely earned the rank considering how much time youve put in on the behind the scenes stuff.

Well Jenny, I'm glad to see you've chosen to agree to this position

These forum powers should make your work quite a bit easier again, and hopefully won't cause too many distractions

Reminder to everybody: Staff Admins (including Assistants) aren't there to do name changes and all that. Though we can make changes and are fully allowed to if we want to, we'd prefer to focus our time on the development of the site.

In all seriousness you should become an Forum Staff Administrator in the coming months.

(Weirdly, this is almost exactly a year from when I had it. October must be the month for awesome people.

FYI, I pondered about how to tie this post with The Office, but I couldn't think anything up. If Apple was still a Site Admin I could make a correlation there, but alas no.
