[RP] Imagination

About halfway up the immense pit, Denny awoke. (It's a REALLY deep pit, after all)

"Jeff... When'd you... Thanks." Denny looked down, and then up. His shadow was nowhere to be seen. He had truly vanquished his sha-

Suddenly, two tentacles of darkness grabbed onto Denny's heels, stopping his and Jeff's ascent.

"I will... consume... everything." Massive red eyes shone in the darkness below, and despite the strength of the dragoon's wings, Denny and Jeff began to slowly be pulled backwards.

"How?!? It was destroyed, I watched with my own..." Denny had a realization, and simply closed his eyes, and cleared his mind.

The red eyes and tentacles dissolved, and Denny's shadow was no more.

"These shadows, are no more than figments of our imagination... if we imagine them to be so." said Denny, before opening his eyes.

Were the imagination powers truly that powerful? If he wanted to, could Denny simply imagine Jeff to not exist, right here, right now? The imagination powers were great, but it was now that Denny began to realize the true danger behind them.

Slowly, Vinas' body began to fade away. A few minutes passed, and suddenly, a blinding light filled the area.

"What? It can't be! I killed you, I watched you spill away your last moments!" Darth Vinas yelled.

"Oh, I died alright..." A voice said, as the light faded away. A cero ray shot out, completely obliterating Darth Vinas.

"I simply came back."

Bojac knew precisely where Jacob would have teleported to, he angled his arms upward and quickly shot an ice beam out in that direction, there was a grunt followed by a loud thud as Jacob hit the platform of the stage. Bojac bent over and touched the platform, sending an ice trail toward Jacob, who was slowly picking himself up off the ground. The ice trail reached Jacob and his hands started freezing to the platform and then his feet, the ice was traveling up his body, like an electrical current. Jacob chuckled to himself and sent a path of fire down the trail of ice. Bojac started melting but quickly reinforced his ice armor with more ice, "you know that fire can't stop Iceman" Bojac laughed. "I just used that as a distraction and to get myself unstuck" Jacob smirked, he was now standing, his body quickly becoming encased in ice.

Jacob and Bojac threw out both their arms at the same time, but their ideas differed. Bojac sent out three ice shards toward Jacob, one hit him in the shoulder, the other in the thigh, but he was able to dodge the other one while still focusing on pulling all the moisture, water vapor, and ice around Bojac toward himself. Bojac was still smiling at the damage he had done when he finally realized what Jacob was doing. Jacob was nearing the end of the strength once he had accomplished his task, the moisture, water vapor, and ice he had stolen was in a pool at his feet. Jacob raised it up and turned it all into a million ice shards and sent them flying at Bojac, who tried to leap away but could not avoid all the ice shards. Bojac collapsed to the ground, dead on the spot, and Jacob collapsed right after, taking the time to reform his ice armor before passing out with a little laugh escaping his lips "my demon is dead."

Rat shot out a mega laser out at the Anti-Rat. The latter did the same. Rat quickly moved his ship upwards, while still focusing the mega laser on Anti-Rat. Then he fired proton missles at Anti-Rat, followed by an Anti-Matter Missle.

As Xavia ran toward Dark Xavia, Dark suddenly jumped up and shot out a blast of force lightning. Xavia held her light saber ahead of her to block while running forward. She jumps over Dark with a couple mid air swings that are deflected by Dark Xavia lands facing away from Dark and blocks a saber hit from behind turning again to block another. Xavia makes controlled hits close in at Dark which are all blocked as Dark backs further away into the clutter of the beams and wreckage from the battle. "You will never truly be able to strike me down. I can see your attacks before you do..." Dark Xavia says while easily blocking each hit.

"Then you must realize... I've been biding my time... and leading you here." Xavia says as she crosses onto one of the loose panels from her first attack. She focuses her force power on the plate and surrounding lifting the plate off the ground quickly. She gains a hold on it to fix herself in one location mid air and holds her right hand stretched out bringing her fingers in. The beams and rubble around Dark Xavia smash inward around Dark leaving a small space in the middle.

"Impressive.... but not enough..." Dark Xavia says sending a force wave out ripping all the beams and scrap to pieces cutting them apart with a massive blast.

"Did you already forget?" Xavia says with both hands outstretched now falling downward. "I knew you would do this... a needle is easier to hold than a boulder..." Dark looks around to see many of the shards of the stage sent flying had all stopped moving and with a clap of Xavia's hand they all flew quickly inward leaving a large pile of sharp shards stuck together on the center of the arena. Xavia came crashing down worn out from the fight... "I guess that does it then, huh... I couldn't have you steal all the glory"

Jeff hovered up and up, still toting Denny in his arms as he saw the missles approaching Anti-Rat. To his surprise, they seem to warp. Jeff couldn't see it, but Boggart became the missle, impaling Anti-Rat's body and taking it over. "Interesting armor, Jeff... I think I'll try it on."

The Divine Dragoon's spirit flew down and landed on Boggart, shedding light on him as his body expanded and grew into a dragon-like body. Jeff reached the top of the platform and set Denny down before he dispelled the Dragoon's spirit, looking as Boggart became the Divine Dragon.

Jeff knew what to do for this one. He wasn't done as a dragoon yet. Boggart flew away and the platforms joined again, Rat's ship dispelled and everyone was on the platform. Jeff doubled over and the environment faded to black before turning into a prismatic horizon. The flaming transformation again took Jeff as he was coated in the Dragoon's armor.

It wasn't just Jeff, however. Xavia's body was encased in shadow before dispelling in a rainbow, revealing her dark armor. In her hand was a long dagger, as light as the light saber she used against her darkness. Denny's body was lifted in a whirlwind and a lance came into his hand before a burst of wind finished the transformation, showing him in brilliant Jade armor. Rat was showered in electricity that stopped just before his body, forming the magenta armor and knuckles if the lightning Dragoon. Vinas, the last remaining, disappeared in a geyser of water before it stopped flowing and froze, disappating in specks of ice and snow, revealing his blue armor and great hammer. Sand drizzled, then poured onto Jacob, until he was coated in stone. It shattered away to reveal golden, glimmering armor, light as a feather but strong as stone as the fragments formed a great axe in Jacob's hand.

Boggart landed on the stage's edge, six wings keeping him aloft and seven eyes watching the party. Jeff heard a piercing cry as the light dragon, a healing dragon, sailed past Boggart to shed its light on the party, raising everyone and healing all wounds before diappearing into the prism background. As everyone arose by the wings on their armor, Jeff stared at Boggart. "It can blast artillery out its chest, and its cannon is on its shoulder. You're not limited to those weapons, they're just the originals. Get ready!"

OOC: If you're wondering about the background, think of how oil makes a rainbow in itself. Take that, turn the oil white, and make it more of a prism than a smooth horizon. That's the environment.
If you're wondering about the 'artillery', it's ~30 'shells' that explode in the area. The cannon has already been described.
If you're wondering about the armor, it relates to your the elements described in each transformation. You're not limited to the described weapons or elements, though, just that armor.

OOC: The italics part of this post is basically a recap on how Vinas returned from dying, and killed his shadow ;P

IC:
Before the transformation could complete, however, he found himself with a Keyblade through his chest.

"Don't you dare think... That you ever could match me." Darth Vinas said, grinning as Vinas collapsed onto the ground.

What Darth Vinas didn't know, however, was that, in his last concious moments, Vinas imagined himself to hold an Ankh of Restoration; an item from Warcraft III that returns the wielder back to life when they fall in battle. So when Vinas died, he actually did die, yet he returned in a new body, surrounded by the bright light the Ankh made in the process of bringing him back. Using this as cover, Vinas quickly imagined himself to have the trademark power of an Arrancar; Cero, and using it to catch his shadow off-guard.

"I got water and ice huh?" Vinas asked to no one in particular. "Hmm, I could be very cheap with this element, since a human body naturally contains about sixty percent of water. However, I don't want to end up as Grant... Still though, I don't like using oversized hammers as a weapon, it's just too...blunt." At that moment, Vinas' hammer was surrounded by light, and when it faded away again, revealed to now be a longsword.

"So now what? Are we supposed to beat the Computermaster or something?"

Boggart roared and his voice hissed from the dragon's immobile mouth. "Yess, I would like to ssee how thiss body fightss... Come!"

OOC: Yes, I know he's revealed to be named Boggart, but Vinas still refers to him like that.

"Green's not exactly my colour, but it'll do..." muttered Denny, as his strength was restored and he was bestowed jade armour and a lance. "So we're actually fighting him now? Does this mean that he's getting an imagination of his own now?"

Denny, like a true lance-wielding dragoon would, leapt extremely high in the air, and came down, his lance aimed at the dragon's head.

Rat felt the armor form around him and said, "Lightning, eh? My favorite element, if not my favorite color. But still, Knuckles as a weapon? Not my favorite weapon." He imagined the knuckles transforming into an elven bow from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. He imagined it having infinite silver, armor piercing arrows. He quickly pulled the string back, and the arrow appeared on the string. He charged it with electricity, and shot at Boggart. He did that multiple times in rapid succession, turning if Boggart moved.

Luckily you're still not bound to weapons. :3)

Jeff started floating up, looking down at Boggart as Denny spoke. "I don't know. I think he took my knowledge of the Divine Dragon, otherwise we'd be seeing an attack that that the dragon didn't initially have."

Jeff knew better than to just go for the head alone. The cannon would kill and the chest hiding the artillary would be a nuisance. Jeff threw his sword as high in the air as he could before hovering in place, yelling out as fire spiralled and charged in front of him before imploding into an explosive ball. "Fla-a-ame..." Jeff reared back and balled his fist. "Shot!" Jeff punched the flame and watched it fly straight at Boggart, aimed for the heart and the opening where the artillery would shoot. It connected in a burst of flame as Jeff casually caught the sword that finally came down.

Jacob had a huge burst of energy when he realized that he would be able to control earth powers "just like Isaac and Felix from Golden Sun" he realized, then looked down at his hand to find a great axe resting in his palm, a smile appeared on his face. Jacob took off running, positioning himself right under the computermaster, he started to spin in a circle, kicking sand straight upwards in an attempt to possibly trap and blind the enemy.

Xavia followed in close behind Jeff. After his flame attack, she charged through and split off to attack the dragon from its left side. She runs alongside it and makes precise hits on the legs before heading back around to the group's formation. "Try to combine attacks when possible, it'll lower the chance of each of us getting hit by adding to its confusion." She says keeping an eye on the enemy. "We should try and set up larger attacks to combine our efforts better."

"Larger attacks? Not a problem!" Jeff raised his blade and let the magic flow from the stone set in the middle of his armor, wanting to call the Red-Eye Dragon's power to the battle.

Boggart had other plans in mind. He raised his head and let out an earsplitting screech, producing visible shockwaves until it reared its hand back to slam Jeff under the claws. The armor stopped any piercing, but Jeff was stunned and couldn't move. What had Jeff scared was that Boggart let his head fall on the arena, leaving his shoulder-cannon exposed to point at the group. A hiss emnated from its mouth... "A cannon blasted from your hand must be impressive from mine."

Jeff couldn't get up, but he could rear his head back to yell. "Everyone, knock that cannon until it snaps, something!

Since somehow, Denny was still in the air, (:-s), Denny came down hard on the cannon with his spear. Now atop the cannon, Denny looked at the Dragon's eyes. Creepy. He proceeded to pull and stab his lance into the cannon repeatatley. "Will this do it?"

Jacob looked at the cannon that was on the computer master's now gigantic back and started creating a few pillars of earth, so that they acted like battering rams, several feet above the cannon and then let gravity bring them down. He figured that with the velocity of gravity and the mass of the pillars that they would do substantial damage to the cannons.

After the beams hit, Jacob laughed then raised a pillar of earth under himself to raise himself up to the cannon and started hacking at the cannon with his newly acquired great axe.

Xavia came in low toward the hand Jeff was trapped under. She took careful aim at the wrist of the dragon and ran past making two well placed strikes at the wrist in hopes it would let go. Moving behind the dragon she rises up from the ground and combines a couple moves from Symphonia, she draws a second sword from her back and dives in and says "Raining Falcon!". Diving in at the canon on the dragon's back, she strikes with both blades, and plunges into it and stabs into it repeatedly. After finishing she jumps off to get to a safe distance.

Xavia's slashing made the dragon's fingers curl, scraping Jeff's armor until he started growling, his armor growing hotter with flame. The slashes against the cannon and the back finally built up and the beast let go, and Jeff radiated his fiery energy straight out of his armor as he yelled, "Dragon!" The heat from his armor was too great for Boggart, who reared back in pain. The prismatic environment tilted red as Boggart yanked open the plates on his chest, energy visibly built there. It started firing up and out, ready to fall down on the party.

A powerful stream of flame caught the Divine Ball's artillery in midair and set it off as the Red-Eye Dragon soared down, straight as a Javelin. Its breath did not end as it kept setting off the explosives early, eventually reaching Boggart. The impact knocked Boggart off the stage as the two dragons flew backwards. Divine's power met Fire and the two exploded, erupting the entire environment in an almost super-nova like explosion.

As soon as the flash hit the party, they fell in the lab, all landing on their feet as Boggart flew all of a split second through the air until he crashed into the wall, leaving very visible cracks in the stone as he cackled in pain and insane glee. "The power! The struggle, the triumph! The possibilities, oh, the range of everything! It is great! More, I must have more!"

He fell from the wall, leaving his body's imprint in it as he pointed at Xavia, Denny, and Jacob in turn. "You three! Neither of you have taken the seat. Whoever's ready, choose! I must see more..." His body was twitching noticeably and his smile was wicked.

It gave Jeff the creeps. He backed up a step, closer to everyone. "I don't trust him now. Either way, do you three even have any idea what you want to do? Are we even allowed to say n-"

"No! No, no, no! You musn't say that, this must continue!" A dark aura bursted from his body once he finished yelling. Was the knowledge being fed to him making him lose control? This couldn't be good. Jeff only trusted him less and less at that point.

Denny leaned against the wall. The Computermaster was going mad... Would it really be safe going into the seat now? On the other hand, if he waited, it could just get even more dangerous. Denny stepped forward. "I'll do it."

Jacob looked at the computer master "you know, there is a such thing as too much of a good thing and I think you've reached your limit maybe a good night rest or a little nap would do you good. You've seen enough for the moment" he said with a chuckle, "we know the drill, we're not exactly children, you don't have to babysit us anymore, we'll probably still be in Denny's fantasy world when you wake up and if not I'm sure you've been tivoing all our past and future adventures" turning to Denny, he opened his mouth again "let's see what you got for us."
