Immediately as the members of the King Black Dragon team pulled the lever,
they felt the warmth of the King Black Dragon's lair.
Before them, stood the huge three-headed dragon they had come to slay.
The KBD hunters looked at eachother.
This will be a tough fight.

Location: We will meet outside the bank of Edgeville, we will then walk in a group to the KBD lair.

Description: The King Black Dragon is a level 276
capable of hitting over 20. It is recommended that
you are at least level 50 combat, have an
Anti-dragon shield and good food. Without these,
you will have a difficult time surviving. Everyone
shall be using my clan chat (Zinyx) for sharing loot.
CoinShare will be activated also. Make sure that I have
you added during the event, otherwise you won't get a
share of the loot. Remember that you must have an account
on RuneVillage, or I won't add you.

Recommended Items:
Antipoison potions
An Anti-dragon shield
Armour and weapons (don't bring valuable armour unless you are certain you will not die)
Food (Lobsters or above)
Runes to teleport out of the lair

all of Runevillage come together to show their pride and take on the world!
Swords will be drawn, arrows will be fired and spells will be cast.
The rivers of Runescape will run red with our oppositions blood.

Description: Clan wars is a safe and deadly minigame,
we will be playing a safe clan wars game. In order
to play, you must join a side (there will be two) and
join their clan chat. That person will then challenge
the other team, and the fight will begin. If you are
asked to go to the other team, please do so or you
will be kicked from the clan chat. This will be a best four
our of seven event. Afterwards, there will be a single
huge free for all to see who the best of the best is.

Rules:

Listen to both leaders at all times. You may be asked to move to another team in order to keep an even balance.

May I enter in both the Free-To-Play Costume Contest and the Member's Costume Contest?
No, as this would be unfair for our Free-To-Play users. However, if you're a member, you may choose to enter in either one of the contests. People entering in the Free-To-Play contest must only wear F2P items. Failure to do so may result in a disqualification regardless of how epic your costume looks.

Where is the drop party?
As you're probably aware of, the December 10th 2007 updates made it impossible to host any sort of private drop party. In addition, trading high amounts of GP was made impractical because of the 15 minute trade limit. These restrictions would mean that one person would have to raise tens of millions of GP by them self, only to host the party in the Falador party room, which would inevitably be interrupted by Non-RV people. Instead, we've added some new forum and RS events to fill up the enormous gap.

What are the rewards?
Unlike previous RVBB's, there are no GP rewards. Again, this is due to the trade limit created on December 10th 2007. Instead, there will be a winner's list where the names of every winner in every event will be posted. In addition, some RVBB workers have volunteered to lend out their rare/expensive items for 24 hours to the winners of various RVBB IV events.

Why was I disqualified from an event?
You may have been disqualified for breaking the event rules, the RS rules, or the RV rules. Normally, you will be given a warning before disqualification, but that really depends on the event, the event leader, and the action you did to deserve a disqualification. Feel free to pm me if you believe you were disqualified for unfair reasons.

I don't know how to use the timezone converter, is there another way?
If you cannot use the timezone converter, try using this map. Check the GMT time on the event, and add or subtract the value that your location is in. For example, if you live in Florida and the event starts at 6pm GMT, then subtract 5 hours from 6pm GMT, and you'll have 1pm.

Are there any ties between the RVBB, RVDD, and MSSW events?
No. All three major events are separate and unique in their own way.

Who designed the graphics?
The banner was designed by me (Jackstick) as well as every other mini-banner in the events and the 'Hiker's Message' page, and the official calendar was designed by Steely Mallon. These images were uploaded to the RuneVillage server by Gamestar. The countdown timers in each topic were designed and made by dustin.

I found a mistake in one of the RVBB IV topic posts, who do I pm?
Please pm me and only me if you find a problem (misspelling, broken url, etc) in any of the event posts or other RVBB IV posts. If you see that an event post is not updated, wait a couple more days. If it's still not updated, pm the event leader and they'll should help you out.

Where can I find previous RVBB Topics?
The only other existing RVBB Topics are the RuneVillage Birthday Bash III, and the RuneVillage Birthday Bash II. Both can be found in the Village Archive.

Second RVBB I've been part of. I'd say it was the biggest and best but they WERE defined by drop parties before. Going to be interesting to see how this pans out.
