Yuki was ready to turn Black Mage's long-range attack against him. Instead, he lunged at her with another dagger. He had more than one dagger? In a frenzy, Yuki used her data manipulation abilities to attempt to make this dagger brittle, too. She wasn't able to go as fast as usual, though, and only the first inch of the dagger was brittle by the time Black Mage was right on top of her. Yuki stuck her hand straight out at the impact point and grabbed the dagger head-on. The first inch of it corroded away like dust, but the rest of it hit her with as much force as Black Mage had put into the attack. The part Yuki had grabbed obviously wasn't as sharp as the dagger's tip, but it still pushed into her hand, scraping it and drawing out a bit more blood. Holding the dagger steady, Yuki launched another swift kick to Black Mage's side. If he didn't let go of his dagger, the impact force could possibly break his remaining arm.

What luck, I actually have an example picture for that too. I guess Yuki doesn't feel pain.
Unlike this picture, though, I'm grabbing your corroded dagger straight-on, not sideways.

"The hell..." Tyr disappeared in front of Kisuke. He prepared for an attack, but none came. With that, he eased himself, and sensed high spirit energy levels nearby. Kisuke started walking over to them, and sealed Benihime, putting her back into the cane.

"Damn!" shouted Black Mage as the tip of his dagger shattered, and Yuki caught it, causing it to do much less damage than intended. She rose her leg, obviously another kick, so Black Mage let go of his dagger, leaving Yuki holding it in her outstretched hand, ducked, and slid another dagger out of his pocket aiming for a stab. The kick hit his hat, sweeping it off and revealing his horrifying face. No time to care though.

OOC: Alright, to keep it fair, I'll limit what I have left.

The kick missed the majority of Black Mage but swept his hat away. It revealed his strange-looking face, which humans would probably have found grotesque and nauseating. Interesting.

Black Mage ducked under the kick and moved in towards Yuki. Did he have another dagger? This was certainly unexpected--he had more hidden weaponry than most people Yuki knew. As her leg was in the air, Yuki was unable to evade the attack, and he was moving much to fast to perform a density data modification on yet another dagger. Instead, she quickly formed a new plan, realizing that she was still holding the dagger that had partially crumbled. The rest of the dagger's density was still intact. She quickly repositioned the molecules of the dagger, reforming its shape. Instead of the tip, Yuki now held the safe end of an extremely sharp weapon.

At the same moment that Black Mage stabbed Yuki up close, she brought her arm down and plunged her own dagger into his back. Yuki was re-evaluating Black Mage's race considering his unusual facial features, but was fairly certain he was still more susceptible to pain than she.

Kisuke stared at Black Mage without his hat on, and felt his insides turn funny. He leaned over and vomited until he was sick inside. Never must he look at that... thing... again. He sat and instead stared at Yuki as lightning erupted between the two combatants.

OOC: I don't wanna break this post up, so I'll make the OOC here. Who's gonna host BF8? Pyro got banned, and Azn says that such a long absense meant a new host should be called. I'm too lenient to go "Nuh-uh, I called it over you when you forfeited it." But I only have my hosting character for BF8 ready, so if Pyro hosts BF8, I'll probably sit it out and host BF9 instead.

Also, the attack Yuki uses in the next post is drawn from personal memories of two months ago. We had a water main break in our front yard and the city came to dig it up in a rainstorm. They then said it was a giant hole of mud, and basically if you stepped on it you'd sink down to the bottom and then drown since it was a big vertical hole. Ew.

BIC:

Judging from the electrical buildup in the air, Black Mage was preparing his Lightning move again, the only real attack Yuki knew he possessed. A large-scale data manipulation might be able to add a differing charge to their two bodies, making the lightning try to repel itself from Yuki and aim towards Black Mage. This plan of action was thrown out for two reasons, however; one, with the amount of damage Yuki had already sustained, chances were slim she could finish the manipulation in time; two, the dagger now embedded in her torso would already act as a small lightning rod, and there was no time to remove it and perform the manipulation all at once.

Only these three were left. Yuki already saw Kisuke in her peripheral vision. Her mission here was to save the world from the expansion of closed space; whether or not she survived the battle was irrelevant. If the Shinjin, Black Mage and Kisuke, were not destroyed, this pale, grey, devastated landscape would actually become the real world.

Yuki could not let that happen.

Black Mage's Lightning attack was nearly finished charging. Yuki turned her head and pointed her hand in Kisuke's direction. Immediately, the ground around Kisuke up to six feet deep became incredibly brittle, while retaining all of its mass and density. It quickly shattered under Kisuke's weight. If Yuki's plan worked, Kisuke would fall six feet through the pavement as it piled over on top of him like a child in a ball pit, eventually suffocating him.

Black Mage's bolt of Lightning attracted itself to the dagger in Yuki's torso, loudly crackling and frying everything nearby. The bolt then attrac1ed itself t0 the very c1ose dagger in Black0 Mage's back, g01ng back and foRTh, pasS1ng through his body sssseverallll times, doingg only a slightslight bit more damage101 to him than to Yuki0010. Of course, the chchchcharge 1was001 enough to kill them boththth.1001

Yuki cou0ld not t10ell if her p0011lan to des010troy Kisuke had f1110ailed. All1101 subroutines had shut down, or more likely, failedendedcrashed. OOC: And so it ends. Regardless of whether Kisuke survives or not, this post basicly ends The Seventh Battlefield.

IC: No. It couldn't be.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" was all Black Mage could shout as he was fried by his own lightning bolt. He had moved his hand to avoid recieving the shock through the dagger he had stabbed through Yuki, but in the heat of the moment, had forgotten about the dagger in his back. To have come so far, to had failed in the final confrontation. Yuki dropped the ground in front of him as the Bolt-2 faded.

Kisuke was caught in the corner of his eye, but he could not tell what was becoming of him. It was... over. Black Mage tumbled to the ground, still alive, but slowly dying.

The ground around him turned red and swirly. And hot. A large skeletal hand broke through it and grabbed Black Mage. The voice of Lich spoke. "I told you... death is but a door, time is but a window. And I DID come back."

And with that, the hand pulled Black Mage under to Hell, leaving his hat alone in the battle-torn gray street.

White Mage... Red Mage... Theif...

Fighter...

Kisuke felt the ground underneath him crumble away, and he started falling. He jumped forward from a crouched position to grab the lip of the drop, and barely managed to grab it. Kisuke pulled himself up a few inches to see what happened to Yuki and Black Mage. The light generated from the two blinded him, and caused him to lose his grip on the edge. Kisuke started falling down, and landed on the asphalt below him. It knocked the wind out of him, and he started sinking. He couldn't get a firm foothold to shunpo out, there was nothing he could do. The asphalt was everywhere, he was breathing it in, coughing, choking, and everything went black...

OOC: That was fun . I'll check to see if BF8 is up yet. Who's supposed to host it? Pyro or Jaron?

With Black Mage's final attack and Yuki's manipulation, all three of the final contenders perished, leaving no one in the empty, grey Closed Space. The area was like a kilometer-wide dome, not quite replacing the real city yet existing just like it. At the very top of the dome, a crack appeared, shooting sunlight straight down to the center of the city below. With everyone in the dome destroyed, its hull grew brittle, and the crack expanded, branching out in all directions. Finally, when the cracks grew so large that the dome could not support itself, the entire thing shattered at once. What was revealed was the same city, lively as ever, unaware that a great battle had been waged in a similar-looking zone.

Haruhi finally saw Kyon down the street, riding his bicycle quickly towards their group. "You're late!" she called out. "PENALTY!"
