Runevillage the forum is pretty well much done. Runevillage the group will eventually die, but as long as we're still friends with each other in the end, it's still a pretty big thought in our heads. Runevillage the family is forever, no matter where we settle down. If absolutely nothing else ever comes of Runevillage in the future, that alone is a pretty damn awesome thought.

My real life buddy Steve showed me Runevillage way back. He was suprized that first of all, it wasn't a scam site, and how much help it gives people with skill guides, items, monsters, locations, basically everything. So we both stuck around, and it's been great!

I remember stumbling across Runevillage because my friend wanted to show this this awesome RSC pker who's name escapes me. Anyway, the video was posted on here, and this is the only place my friend knew where the video was, so I inevitably ended up here. I was immediately active (as was my friend, until he quit RS altogether) and this is where I posted my first forum topic ever, "My Idea of wat Carpendry should b"

Yes, I remember the topic title.

Two friends were on about it at school, the one was talking about killing "Goblins" and the other was asking him if he would mine some Coal ore for him. Eventually in one class they were visiting RuneVillage.

Of course i started playing, and then started obsessing over the 'Rare' bank pictures that were spread of General Pictures! I use to Dribble and view RV in secret

Then i joined in 04'.

Fun :)

How did I come? George W. Bush sent me an AIM, duh.

Now really. I was PMing a friend while I was raising my woodcutting (SO BORING) and I told him that I was raising it for a quest. He told me to visit here for quest help. I replied but I didn't do it. About 3 days later I was stuck on a member's quest, Monk's Friend to be exact. I PMed him again and we started chatting. I told him I was stuck and asked him if he could help, as he was a former member. He, again, told me to come here. I went and was blown away at the amazing help that was shown here. For the first day I just surfed the quest and item database looking for cheap, yet cool member's items to show off in the free world. =P~

Now. On the second day of Runevillage, my good brain told to me....
"Click all these links here! I plee!"

I found the site, surfed it for 15 minutes, and joined. Touching story, isn't it? It breaks me out into tears every time...*sniff*

lol

I didn't know we were paying for ads...

No wonder RV is always short on money :?

First I'd heard about it...

Maybe Jason just means a referral from RPF?

Searched for a quest guide one day and found RuneVillage. I knew about Rv for about 3 years now. Decided to join last year.

I actually regret not joining earlier.

My friend invited me to a dropparty... and it was my first official one.. it was a fantastic and really exciting one.. and it was from RV!! :) (RVBB 2005 I think)

Well thats the first time I heard about it, and in fact it was one of the first forums I saw :P... but I still used the RuneHQ and Zybez Homepage Accessories more than RV and wasn't a forum guy.

So one day I made a PK video and needed a place to 'publish' it, so I made an account on each forum and used it for a while...After having seen the RV forum, where my video was allowed to be post, unlike other forums... and where people posted more comments and were more interested, I felt like home :3

I was not used to forums and I was pretty inactive so I did do many stupid mistakes lol. Oh and I remember the first person to welcome me and tell me my mistakes was Snake :D.... But now I changed a lot and realised that forums are much more than just places to post videos haha. I actually feel bad that I wasn't active back then.
