Laptop problems

My laptop keyboard just randomly started typing incorrect letters for each key.
(EX- 0y 3a*t6* 2eyb6ard 14st rand603y started ty*5ng 5nc6rrect 3etters f6r each 2ey./

I'm using the on-screen keyboard to type this, aside from the above example.
So any help here? This is so frustrating.

if it helps, keys abcdefghnqrstvwxyz work just fine.

No. A few hours earlier, it was working just fine. I left to go eat pizza with some friends and came back with THAT.

My Macafee doesn't load up any of the virus programs or anything. It'll just load a blank screen.
My AIM also won't load. I double click on the AIM icon, and it'll show up for not even a second then close out.

the keyboard on my laptop has some keys with numbers in blue text that only write with a specific button depressed. does yours have a similar style? (aka its a numeric pad on a desktop i think)

Lol, looking at my keyboard, and comparing it to your text, it seems that you have FN lock (Num lock) on...

whenever you type a K it shows up as a 2 and if you type a J it comes up as a 1... etc..

To turn it off, hold the FN Key (should be next to Ctrl on most laptops), and press NumLk which should be one of you F keys...

Mines F11...
