Battlefield- Chapter 5

OOC: Meh, I'll post, just been very busy lately...

IC: Despite being still a bit dizzy and the strange movements of the clones, the Prince noticed one of the doubles was attacking from the back, while two were from the front. Smiling a bit, he jumped backwards, in hope of landing behind the clone. After that, he drew his swords, and spun to the ground while trying to hit the clone. With his dizzyness cancelled out, he looked at his amulet, and noticed its powers were available for use again. Now to wait for the proper time...

The clone poofed, and the other two broke through the smoke, dashing at the Prince with their hands held near eachother. A large Rasengan was forming there, at least three times the size of an average one.

"Odama Rasengan!" they both growled, slamming the sphere into the break in the Prince's armor, completely tearing up most of his torso's covering. As the Prince was sent flying backwards, Naruto and his clone spun around, using the momentum of the Rasengan to throw several kunai at the Prince, who had no control of his body right now in midair, several kunai sticking into his chest with satidfying 'thunks'.

"I'll finish you!" insisted Naruto, him and his clone charging the fallen Prince, pupils turning to slits and fingernails to claws. The Prince was at this point, on the ground, freshly Odama Rasenganed with a few kunai in his chest, and thirty feet away.

The Prince smiled as he reached for a button on his amulet. "Maybe next time..."

There he was, yet again in the middle of the three Narutos, albeit a bit less dizzy. He smiled, and clicked two buttons simultanously, causing time around him to slow down, and him to speed up. "I will not be able to keep this up for too long, nor can I afford to get in a situation like this again..." He ran at one of the three, at a speed that would seem near instant teleporting for the boy.

He stabbed one of his swords at the heart, and ran to another, following the same procedures. Then, when he was running at the third, time slowly began to go normally again, he was barely able to start the attack when everything was once again moving normally. As an added effect, he spinned around, and slashed at the boy's torso with his second sword as well.

OOC: Should the Prince die, please let me take care of his death, Kik. I promise you, you won't regret it...

Unless he teleports himself out of the battlefield and back to Persia, I'm going to make a monologue anyway. XD

OOC: Even if he gets swallowed by a dark guardian of the timeline who'd kill Ansem as well if he sees him with the Prince?

Digital world. Ansem would have to code in the guardian and code out both the Prince and that guardian, unless the guardian is more magical than Ansem's computer. That I'm not sure of, so I'll just see how it goes if / when you die.

OOC: Way to spoil your ending >_>

BIC: Naruto quickly backstepped the first attack, then aimed a kick at the Prince to knock him back before he could land the second. Taking advantage of the Prince's... being knocked back, Naruto tackled him to the ground, pinning his arms down as his pupils turned to slits and his fingernails to claws, the latter of which he dug into the ground to help anchor the Prince's wrists.

"You...WILL.... die!" he exclaimed, baring fox-like fangs. It was not Naruto that spoke this time, but the Kyuubi inside him, who was fed up with this opponent and overcame Naruto's resistance. Naruto dug his teeth into the Prince's throat, attempting to sever his jugular.

OOC: Is that too brutal for Naruto? >_>

OOC: A little, yes... Oh, and that's only a part of my ending

IC: "What...?" the Prince said, as memories flashed before his eyes. It all came back; The playground at the palace, the first day he first got a sword, his first training, the day his fate changed in Azad, the time he had defeated the Vizier, and then, nothing. Nothing but rest. So this is it. This is the end of my life after all. I have...failed. You were right, old man, I could not change my fate, no man can...

As the Prince' eyes closed, a large black mist appeared behind him and Naruto, out of which came a demon that was none other than the Dahaka, guardian of the timeline.

The demon picked up Naruto and merely tossed him aside as if he was a doll (OOC: not injured by it though

). Then, the Prince began to levitate, and slowly crumbled into sand, when the Dahaka shot a tentacle out of his waist, and took the sand into his body. His mission complete, he no longer had any reason to exist, and faded away...

OOC: Meh, at least I made it to the semi-finals

OOC: Awh, you SO couldve just kicked me off. Like I said, I TRIED to sever your jugular. Ah, well.

BIC: Naruto blinked, pupils round again. Wow. Big black monster thingy... Gee, the sky sure is blue...ish.... Naruto promptly fell asleep.

Sasuke yawned as he looked around for another opponent to destroy. Not one in sight.

"Naruto, hurry up.."

Naruto awoke. He knew not how long he had slept, but he felt fully revitalized. He couldn't feel any more presences of chakra nearby, except....

"Sasuke..." he muttered, running in the direction of the chakra.

Sasuke observed Naruto awake from his slumber.

"Sasuke..." Naruto called out weakly.

Sasuke appeared behind Naruto in a flash, and delivered a quick kick to his side causing Naruto to flop fifteen feet away, sitting up.

"You called? Answer. I'll finish it this time." Sasuke said as his pupil began to turn red and the sharingan symbol appeared.

"Sasuke..." Naruto murmured as he stood up, facing the ground. "Why must we fight?" He looked up, rage and determination sparkling in the tears streaming from his eyes. "Is that damned Sharingan that important to you?" Suddenly, Naruto produced a kunai from its holster with a smoke bomb tied to the end, throwing it at Sasuke's feet so the bomb exploded, dispersing a thick white haze through which Sasuke could not see Naruto's next move. Naruto performed several hand seals.

OOC: Ultima, you have the slowest reaction time I've ever seen.

BIC: Sasuke looked around at the smoke, his sharingan now fully active.
"Sharingan? It was never about that." He said as he looked around calmly. "But why do YOU keep seeking me? I told you, I'm not coming back. At least not until I've killed him."
Sasuke ran towards the direction that the kunai came from, performing several hand seals as he made his way towards a distinct shape in the smoke.
"Katon! Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" Sasuke whispered before releasing a large burst of flame from his mouth towards the darkened shadow.

Naruto grinned as the clone, who he had strung several exploding tags around, burst into flames, sending the Uchiha flying backwards with a minor burn or two.

"Rasengan!" he shouted, forming an orb of rapidly spiraling wind in his hand, thrusting it forard as Sasuke landed right in it, sending him spiraling off in the opposite direction. Waiting for him to land, he performed several more hand seals.

"Damnit, come back!"

As Sasuke spiraled away from naruto, he focused his his eyes slightly as two wings sprouted from his back. Sasuke spun midair in the opposite direction, stopping in mid air immediately. Sasuke flapped his wings, ascending over the fading smoke cloud. Sasuke stared intently into the cloud, looking for any more clones that Naruto could have made, knowing he used them often. Sasuke created the hand seals for Gōkakyū no Jutsu once again, and then held two fingers towards his mouth. Sasuke held the chakra in his mouth build and for several moments longer than he should have, then quickly blew it out from atop the cloud of smoke.

The jutsu burned up the rest of the clones as Naruto watched from a safe distance, hiding behind a tree. Knowing that Sasuke would sense his chakra soon, he clambered up the tree and sat in the branches, waiting for the opportune moment to- now!

Two kunai flew from the tree and clipped one of Sasuke's wings as the extended Goukakyu finished up, forcing the Uchiha to spin through the air. Naruto slipped something into his palm as he slid down from the tree, ready to confront his friend at a close distance.
