Oh no. For all it's worth, i really hope you get better. What are the odds? Many smoke when they're young to old age and nothing happens. But i haven't and won't start smoking.

I'm sorry to hear that, Muse. Hang in there. My mom beat cancer; you can do it too.
According to the American Cancer Society and American Lung Association, over 140,000 people die every year of lung cancer purely because of smoking (20,000 more for other reasons). So pretty darn high...

I hope all is well with ms muse...cancer sucks

So, I've done some digging to see what had happened, and I've found something unexpected given how long Muse was here with us.

Muse was a man by the name of Robert Moore. We had plenty of people pose as women, but Muse was here so long I find it surprising they would lie about this the entire time. I tracked Muse's e-mail and found it had been registered at a runescape website where he was vouching for players and services that would grind levels or complete in-game tasks for players. On that website, he gave his skype name that inferred their real name was likely "Rob" or that there was a boyfriend named Rob. I continued searching and found that Muse's e-mail led to a a facebook page for Robert Moore. As some of you are aware, Muse went by the name "Ashleigh Moore".

There is an Ashleigh, but the last name is different. It seems that Rob had been using the pictures of a girl from his high school to pose as a girl here. I messaged Rob about the situation a couple days ago, but there has been no reply. I have no interest in messaging the real Ashleigh. She seems to be a very happily married woman living a fulfilling life. I don't want to cause her any stress or freak her out over the situation when there's really no need.

That being said, you're all probably more interested in the cancer situation than anything. I haven't found any details aside from a facebook post from Rob saying he was cutting down on smoking. Given that he seems to be playing RS with a new account in Old School and that he hasn't contacted anyone here in the past two years, I believe the cancer story may have been a lie. It's likely that Muse used it to disappear with the assumption that everyone would assume they had died as a sort of farewell.

So there you have it. Muse is alive and well, but will likely never return here.
