56 Str, 58 Agility, 83 Fishing & 77 Cooking all within 30 mins of each other today from Barbarian Fishing.

I'm getting anywhere from 42k to 47k fishing exp per hour here, so it's only been taking 4 - 6 hours for a level. Right now I'm fishing at 46.6k which means 4.2k Agil/Str exp per hour and 6.4k Cooking exp per hour. So all up, it's like 61.4k exp per hour atm. Great exp. I'm doing things much more efficiently this time around.

Obviously not conducive for racing, but doing questing before skilling is usually a good idea. The marginal utility of quests goes down the more XP you have.

Yeah, I've done a lot of the good exp/time ratio quests already. Waterfall, Grand Tree, Tree Gnome, Tourist Trap, Elemental Workshop I & II etc. Majority of my Smithing exp is from quests. I'm not really racing any more I just have too much free time still.

Thanks MM. Good question. Barbarian fishing is only semi-afk - inventory fills fast and requires some inventory management and also two clicks per fish to turn them into bait. It's the trade-off for the great exp it gives. There is plenty of downtime still though, in which case I did all the same stuff I did whilst on the crazy binge for 99 Firemaking and Woodcutting. I browsed Facebook, an active sports forum I visit, the 2007scape reddit, the old school runescape wiki and other usual browsing/getting lost in the interwebs stuff. I also played Gw2 a lot and occasionally watched South Park episodes.

- 26 - 30 Runecrafting (Earths/Cosmics) - holy crap this was horrible, too lazy to go kill stuff for a fire tally. Needed to be done though so that Herblore will remain my lowest skill for a while and can leech exp from Tears of Guthix.

- Working up the motivation to do Underground Pass. Maybe tomorrow.
- Up to 136 QP, with ~ 60 quests still in the red.

Notable levels
- 27 - 36 Herblore (Tears + quests)
- 40 - 49 Farming (Using up seeds from 99 WC, have about 65 Farm banked)
- 1286 Total

Make sure to get the Thieving level for the shortcut before you do Underground Pass. It's just 50 Thieving I think, but saves you a bucketload of time by not having to negotiate one of the longer traps.

Quests
- Underground Pass - didn't fall once and only took about 1h 15mins, happy with that. It's all about balance though...
- Garden of Tranquility - If you don't remember, it's the one where you plant some crops for different farmers in exchange for their seeds. So for the Ardy farmer you have to grow one lot of cabbages which sounds reasonable enough. Decided to use both the north and south allotments as a fail-safe, here's how it went down:

1) Went and did the Catherby section, came back to find both sets dead.
2) Decided to stay at the patch and watch them. After two growths, both became diseased. Cured them.
3) Both became diseased again without growing to the next stage. Went to bank, got cures, cured them so they're still on the second stage.
4) Logged out, needed a break and hoping to return to see one of them finished, figured after both lots becoming diseased 2x in a row I was safe. Came back later to find them both dead... both on stage two. Holy , what is this?
5) Tried again. Came back to find northern lot diseased on stage 2, southern lot alive and well on stage 3. Cured diseased lot.
6) Came back a bit later... the southern lot was dead on stage 3, and the northern one had made it. What the f**k is going on with these patches?!

Deadset I reckon Mourning's End Part II is going to take me less time than Garden Tranquility did today.

Notable levels
- 40 Range and finally did a med clue I got forever ago. About 8k worth of stuff so not too bad, every bit counts.
- 51 Farm, almost 52, all acorns/willow seeds used up, onto maple seeds starting tomorrow.

Thanks Cam, but ended up getting 3 PMs within 5 minutes of posting on the thread on the official forums today. American prime time + weekend = success. They set it up so you use the quest items on the ironman player and it appears on the ground for them.
