2016-17 season is underway.

Any predictions??

Leafs are packing a punch offensively but have poor defense and poor goal tending. I realize they are still in rebuild mode, but i really hope they can get that sorted out. Matthews / Marner / Nylander look good so far.

Capitals and Bolts will probably do very well in the season but the Caps will probably struggle in the post season. In the west, I (still) cheer on San Jose but Chicago and Anaheim will probably get further.

A season that sees Detroit miss the playoffs and Edmonton make it? Simply unheard of but that might just happen this year.

I'm feeling a Chicago vs. Pittsburgh final this year but a shout out to San Jose and NYR, as well.

Yeah, it was weird seeing Detroit do so poorly. Too bad that playoff streak came to an end.

If my best hopes come true, it will be a Calgary Ottawa final. But realistically, I think your right about a Pittsburgh Chicago final. Maybe a Pittsburgh San Jose.
