I like comparative images like this. They are amusing.

But really, that's a lot of money.
114T spread out over..... how many people are there living in the US?

Except $365,000 to each person would have actually solved our problems more effectively than what crap has been done with it thus far. Money to spend = money to circulate, money to save = money to invest and all that.
Go figure.

If every person got $365k........oh God!

I'd invest in BMW, Mercedes, and any fashion design company immediately. People are stupid, so they'll buy crap they don't need or can barely afford. The design industry will booooooooooom.

Looking at just numbers is not that bad, but when put into perspective, that pile of money is absolutely horrifying.

I'd save your fuming over those numbers for when you actually have any idea as to what they mean.

You could go ahead and explain them for those here who may not understand them instead of leaving an open ended and borderline insulting comment ya know.

DOLLA DOLLA BILL Y'ALL
DOLLA DOLLA BILL Y'ALL

@Simon - He's saying that building an actual stack of monies like that next to the WTC would have been a good idea as it would have acted as a barrier from them airplanes crashing into the towers on 9/11.

I'd give it a go, see how it plays out.

lol the stack would be gone before it even reached 1 foot high, not by wind but by me stealing it.

So is China funding all this money?

Don't even blame it all on Bush, Hiker.

Also, unless I'm wrong, the number is way incorrect for that health care reform money. I seem to remember it being about $1 trillion. Include the extra money it'll cost after the loopholes in it are taken advantage of, and it's even worse. Include other entitlements, and it's still way worse than that number. Obama and the Democrats ran up the debt by so much in about a year that it's not even funny.

There are no facts. You're ignoring what the idiot in the White House has done. Did you forget the health care bill, stimuli (which doesn't work, ever) and bailouts which were mainly to save unions that nobody had read? Keynesian economics does not work and adds more to the debt pile.

What about Libya and Syria?

I'm not enjoying the Federal Government's attack on my state, either. They've been trying again and again to screw up the economy with regulations that are absolutely unnecessary, and some of them (i.e. attempt at putting some animal on the endangered species list) have no scientific backing.

In fact, Global Warming was recently debunked, as well. Thank NASA.

The EPA has decided Texas falls under new regulations that some other states had 10 years to prepare for. We were added on at the last minute and now have 60 days to prepare, which will mean power plants will be shutting down, and others will run at 50% capacity. There will be blackouts.

I want the government to stay out of where it doesn't belong. America is a country of regions; states, counties, and cities should cover most of the laws in those regions.

quit watching fox news snake... :P

that chart is based on figures from the Congressional Budget Office....

the stimulus was started by bush, continued by obama.....

the bailouts were all bush.....

the healthcare bill is included in the chart....

syria and libya came out of current defense budgets-- which obama has cut by 152 billion....

I'm not familiar with the stituation between texas and epa, but the subject here is the budget....
