Rest in peace. He may have not lived a great life, or even a good one, and he may have made some awful mistakes, but the fact remains, he's helped make us who we are today. He created this small corner of the internet, which was a refuge for many of us, and no-one can ever take that away.

No, it's not just you; I got the same result. Even knowing his full name and a 4-month span of time where an obituary or death notice could be, I found nothing as well. Chances are high that we'll never know exactly what happened.

Wasn't Mustangnut (& Zilla) in contact with him/even visited him? Though then I suppose the problem is contacting them, heh.

Got the impression hiker didn't have any family and few friends so not that surprising it's hard to find anything.

They met him but it was just the once and I don't believe they stayed in contact.

Wow, my heart dropped when I read the PM from Jaron.

As everyone has said, despite what he did in the past he did create this community which we all came to know and love. For that I thank him.

I started the Miners' Revolution and joined up with the Fishers' Union before I had 100 posts.
I reported live from the first ever "Runevillage Event" in RSC.
I had a 'riddle topic' in General Chat where I would post riddles for people to guess and tally their points.
I was friends with the likes of PacoTaco, Berserk, and chatmasta.
I was voted in as a Runevillage Legend before leaving the place that I had put so much time into.

And now I'm back... again.

So despite the Fuzzy Bunny stuff he did, I can safely say for myself and most likely most of the people here, you are who you are because of something he did.
So although he did some terrible things, he also affected a lot of our lives for the best part of a decade.

I used to speak with hiker from time to time back when I was really active. I know he has done some things in his past that aren't right but no one knew about that back then. I liked him and he did bring us all together. I'm sorry he died.

Came back to check on how the site was doing and came to this. I never really got into the forums and community here but what Hiker did with creating this website helped an unimaginable amount of people and impacted everyone's life who went on this site in some way.
