I just wanted to thank everyone who has posted on this so far. Reading all your responses has made me tear up a bit. And like everyone else that tries to leave RV, its rarely permanent. I've realized how much of an online family everyone here is and some of you are right, I need some of the online distractions. I will more than likely return to RV here and there but as for RS, I may be retiring.

It's still one of these things where I'm so uncertain of things, but I'm still on my computer a lot during the evenings for research and work that I will try to start visiting the forums or something during breaks or visiting chat like I used to.

Thank you all so much for everything. It has meant a lot to me.

Just as long as General Chat starts getting more humorous than posting news reports of people doing immoral stuff, I'm sure you'll find something here to get your mind off real life when you need us to. It's been said before, Runevillage is where Runescapers escape, but that logic applies to both real life and games. Any time you want anyone to distract you, I'm sure we can call in Kyle and Kevin to bring back the old Skype crew and record a podcast of their insane conversations. ^_^

Hopefully your life turns to the better soon. With everything that's happened, amazing people (yes, like you) deserve something that literally just lights up their life. I hope it happens soon... On that note, is the Runevillage Prayer Topic still alive? I'm sure about ten (hundred) would post for you and your family in there right about now.

Goten is dead!

There is absolutely nothing I can say that could show how deep my sympathy is for you... My uncle died in his sleep the other day, and it's torn the family apart. It's a horrible experience to be going through, but for you it's many times worse.
I really am lost for words. And what's worse, is that there is nothing I can do to help.

As always, I'll be here to talk should you wish. My thoughts are with you. I know that's cliche and everything - and it doesn't help one bit; but if you need to talk...

You've been amazing, just so you know. A great friend, a great Rv member. I'll miss you.

You've truly been though some terrible times lately...... but as you see, returning home, you've found friends and online family to share that grief and hard times with. Hopefully, you'll be able to continue to visit us, and let us give whatever strength and support we can....

Just keep your strength up, and while not totally forgotten, these bad times will pass and you'll be able to move on with your life...
