I joined on 15 Sep 2003. . . . wow that was ages ago.

I remember there used to be a chatroom and stuff to hang out in. I remember Hiker and Henner but, I don't see them posting much anymore. I did read up on RuneVillages troubles with Runescape and was saddened by the outcome. I am sad that Hiker has passed on which is a bummer, I really enjoyed our long conversations about him hiking around the country.

I was 13 in September of 2003, now I am 25! Woah  getting old.

Okay here is a basic timeline of what I have been doing with myself . . .

2003-2004: Finished middle school, created a few clans on Runescape. . . . I was always in Runevillages chat, got kicked a couple of times for being a immature 13 year old and fun stuff..

2004-2008: In high school, I played Runescape a lot, I was in Marching band, played football, did track and field, and I even became a member for a whole year(Yay). I graduated high school in 2008. I quit runescape before they took the wild away(I have only logged on a few times since) .

2009: I became a wildland firefighter. . . . .fun . . . the economy sucked. Began playing Furcadia, and I mostly did nothing that year... bad year for me.

2010: Went to a job training program to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, and started college.

2011: Still kept going to college, my major was nursing which was cool.

2012: I became the president of a political club at my college campus, and helped a certain presidential candidate win my county and state  I graduated with an Associates of Arts.

2013: Joined The Federal Emergency Management Agency as an Intern and got deployed to disasters around the country, aiding those sign up for government assistance. Moore, Oklahoma was the biggest natural disaster id been to. The stress of my mom dying of cancer made me check into a hospital for depression. . . . . it was a low point in my life :(

2014: Back in college, received an Associates of Science. changed degrees 3-4 times in 2014 from Nursing to Natural Resources to Emergency Management... I decided to act in 2 plays put on at the college theater program. MacBeth and A Christmas Carol.

2015: Changed my major to Land Surveying/Geomatics took 15 credits during spring and made Deans List for the first time in my college career. I acted in Les Miserables during spring theater. My mom finally passed away in July. My depression finally went away a few weeks after she passed on, I am kind of happy she doesn't suffer. This semester I am taking 18 credits this fall(Calculus II, Physics for Science and Engineer Majors, Land Surveying Intro, GIS for Land Surveyors, and Computer Aided Drawing for Land Surveyors), and a science coop project with NASA(I won a scholarship from them in my state). I plan on playing Snug in the upcoming production of A Midsummer Nights Dream later on this semester!!!

I was bored so I decided to go to my past for good feelings, I always had good feelings here so what I will do is bookmark this place as a hangout place and check back in often. I do apologize for going into a lot of detail, but I don't know if y'all will remember me so if not, I remember the fun I had here!

Sorry to hear about your mom. That must have been tough. Wishing you all the best!

It's neat to see how many options you went through before finally deciding on land surveying.
For me, after high school I chained for a couple years before going to school for two years. Now, i've been running a crew for the last 4 years.
How are you liking it so far?? And which area are you surveying in?

As always, it's always awesome to see people return to RV after years of inactivity!

I have never actually done Land Surveying yet
I did mostly the General Education stuff like Trig, Calculus, and other required classes.

Now! I am in 3 surveying classes, so I will learn if I like the outlook.

I did swing by a couple years ago before the runevillage ----> poorshark thing. I did chat for a bit in the chatroom but, I left again.

As for Runescape, it really doesn't interest me anymore, I tried to log on a couple times and it just seems like they are going into more of a money making direction instead of pleasing the fans direction.

RS Classic was good enough, the Runescape 2.0 or whatever they called it was fine but after that.... like 2006 it just started to get horrible. I got scammed a lot and figured I would be better off doing something worthwhile with my time lol.

I still game, I play Steam, and PS4. Right now my rule is to only buy one game for the ps4 at one time so Arkham Knight is about 90% done with. . . . so by November when my favorite gaming franchise is released..... FALLOUT 4 I will be trading in Arkham Knight for Fallout! :D

Best Memory of Runescape: Getting killed by a chicken.
Worst Memory of Runescape: Getting banned on my main for helping someone try to remember their password. . . . :?:
Best Memory from RuneVillage: Making fun of Henners nose everytime he would log in.
Worst Memory from RuneVillage: Finding out Hiker passed.

8-[ I like to write longer posts that way I can get more info out there.

Oh yes, I am glad to see that RuneVillage is still a relic of its old self.

We have people still delusional about what year it is! :)
