Loudawg.....Meshuggah....droooool.
Meshuggah opened for Tool for a tour, and I would have LOOOVED to have seen them both in one sitting.

Azureus.....Sigur and Claypool? TIGHT. Very commendable. I think I'd like to see Les more, and probably will one day.

Phantomrose.....get to some. NAO.

My first concert was Queen, five years ago.
Since then, I've seen Cheap Trick, Heart, and Journey - at the same concert - and STYX.

Oh, and my friends and I got to go backstage and meet the members of STYX when they came around here. That was the coolest of them all :D

I'm going to see The Chariot again tonight. So stoked. They are such an energetic live show......It's really strange that they stopped in MY city on their tour, though. We like....never have people I want to see come here. :)

I was surprised! Two of the three opening bands turned out to be fantastic and that's hard to come by at a fairly underground show.

The Chariot was insane as usual (in a good way). Mid-set during one of the songs the vocalist started moving the drummers set piece by piece into the middle of the crowd. Haha...you could tell the drummer had no clue this was going to happen. He kept playing though, and when the song ended, he shrugged his shoulders, picked up his kick drum and throne, and moved them as well. He played the last three songs IN the crowd. They stuck around and chatted with whomever wanted to talk to them after the show as well.

Saw some old friends I hadn[t seen in a while whom I actually didn't mind running into. :P

Just saw Steel Panther for the second time yesterday.

Apart from my friends and I being declared offensive by people in the line (Seriously, at a Steel Panther concert, sex talk is apparently offensive), was an epic show (So was the last one).

Here's one of the shots I can actually put up on RV.

The two girls wouldn't make out (It would be gross, we're sisters - Satchel responds "Who here thinks that would make it hotter?"), so they got four porn-stars to kiss instead. Got to love Steel Panther.

I'm updating my list.
Saw Cheap Trick in December. Those old assed dudes ROCKED. I was pleasantly suprised. I was also suprised at how many Cheap Trick songs I actually knew. :P

Also saw a blugrass band from Chicago at Valparaiso University in January. They were LIGHTNING FAST. Amazing musicians/singers and overall great performers/entertainers. I thought I may get bored, but they definitely kept my attention.

Lastly, Crosses @ House of Blues Chicago. This is one of the many side-projects of Chino from Deftones. It was a fantastic show. I've seen Deftones twice, and Chino's vocals are kind of hit or miss and that night w/ Crosses he was definitely on. It was such a FUN show. The band was having fun, the crowd was having fun, everyone's a fun-fun. The chick I took said, " ill be back", and left for a while toward the end. Came back and had bought me a drop card for the new album...signed by the band. :) score.
