The typical "I have no interest in coaching" BS and then after the season "I am the new head coach at XXXX". It's overplayed. Flash Urban that OSU money and he's gone.

Oh yeah I was thinking that myself. I think Urban's situation might be a bit more complexed (hence the denial) because of his contract with ESPN. I don't think he is just free to convort for a job while under contract with ESPN. Perhaps I'm wrong? Either way, I don't think Urban minds being in the spotlight at all. It sure must suck to have your name constantly printed in the media...

Anyways... HE. WOULD. OF. WALKED. TO. MICHIGAN. Love me some Hoke.

Tell you what, if OSU had a QB that could throw and run........UM would have lost. That guy missed a LOT of easy passes for good yards, including a given TD.

Robinson made it interesting since he couldn't hold the damn ball. But he did show some nice passing skills he's been lacking a bit.

So I grew up in San Diego and until I went to college I went to most SDSU home games, so I'm a pretty big fan. What do you guys think of the new Big East with SDSU, Boise St, Houston, SMU, I forgot the other? I am glad that SDSU can make a better TV deal and get more money, and an AQ BCS bid, but really? The Big East? I always thought that the magic of college football as opposed to the NFL was the rivalries between colleges. I can't imagine a rivalry existing between SDSU and UConn when they're like 3000 miles away. Also unrelated, let's go CAL against Texas. I still remember 2004, REVENGE!!!

So Burks, Arizona got the best of Toledo yet again, though certainly a much closer game this year. You guys are definitely better and we are definitely worse. What a long game though with both teams running the hurry-up. Toledo ran 94 plays, thats insane.

Are you sure there is someone out there? I'm not even talking about football.

That being said... Those 'Bama boys sure know their football. Perhaps in about 4 years Michigan might be able to compete with 'Bama then.

Michigan State got exposed for being well... Michigan State. And Ohio State played perhaps the dirtiest game I've seen in awhile against Cal.

I was really hoping for Cal to pull that off, they put up a damn good showing. Oh well, the P12 cant utterly dominate the B10.

Im surprised to see Notre Dame look so impressive. I was very much enjoying their many years of embarrassment, but it kind of looks like theyre back, a shame.

I wouldnt worry too much about getting trounced by Bama, they are just completely legit. Not sure anyone is really in the same class as they are, maybe LSU. Damn those SEC Fuzzy Bunny.

My money would be on Michigan to win the B10.

Yeah Alabama and LSU are in a class of their own it would seem. Shocking considering how much Alabama and LSU lost. Damn those SEC Fuzzy Bunny indeed.

So how are you enjoying Rich Rod? Hopefully he works out better for you then he did over here... He probably didn't stand a great chance for success over here with the boosters but the end results were a bit disappointing.

The entire Pac-12 seems to be on the rise... It's a who's who in coaching jobs at the moment... 8 of 12 I'd consider solid, with Kyle Whittingham on the fence because the program is so young in the Pac 12. It's going to be an interesting conference to follow over the next few years.

Well beating OSU and getting us ranked certainly bought RichRod a lot of good will. It was pretty close to a universally lauded hire, so people are definitely behind him. We are not that good of a team, and have pretty much no depth, so if he can get us to a bowl game, it would be pretty remarkable in my book. He will get a warm welcome to P12 play when we open the conference season at Oregon next week. If we can keep it close for 2 quarters, I'll be happy.

Close for 2 quarters? Pretty ambitious... RichRod knows how to coach offense. He'll do fine being near California to get recruits. Just be ready to hire a good defensive coordinator. That 3-3-5 Fuzzy Bunny he tried to pull up here was garbage... But then again doesn't Oregon run Nickel-base with a Rover?

Another game under the lights for Mich and Dame this week. Hopefully it's as interesting as the last one.

On a side note, did you see where Jim Delany spoke about his future vision of the Big Ten included adding the University of Toronto? Do they even play 11 man football up there or the 12 Canadian variant? College football is getting out of hand with all this conference realignment.

We are using the 3-3-5. However, his longtime defensive coordinator at WVU didnt make the move with him to Michigan, but he is here in Tucson now. Hopefully that will make for better results. Considering how untalented and undeep our defense is this year, it has been surprisingly decent. Im just afraid the Oregon offense is really gonna outclass our defense. If you set the over/under of Oregon's points at 50, Id take the over.

That is a pretty bizarre comment about the University of Toronto. College sports isnt even a blip on the radar in Canada. I have no clue what version of football they play, I never heard a single thing about them once in my 3 years there. To give you some idea of the relevance, their brand new stadium holds 5000 people. Obviously this is a very long term idea because they are not even close at this point. They do fit the mold academically and geographically though.

Toronto is supposed to be sometime in the next decade or so. I'm telling you something I got second hand. My brother told me it was on ESPN Insider and I don't care to pay for that. But on a lighter note, you guys would of covered the under! Down 13 to Oregon at the half isn't terrible either. I'd say they should of lived up to your projections! Denard on the other hand... He's been an amazing player for Michigan and did some great things here but I won't be too upset when his senior year is over.

We both had the same problem yesterday: red zone futility. I dont know if you watched our game, but our offense completely blew it. We were 0-5 in the red zone in the first havelf alone, and down only 13-0, that hurts. Our defense was terrific. 49 points looks bad, but there were 2 pick 6's and one garbage time TD with the second string defense in, so the first team defense allowed only 28 points in 3+ quarters, which is outstanding against Oregon. I just dont know what it was with the offense, they didnt come ready to play. It was embarrassing futility by them.

35-35 at the half... Insanity.
