It was November 1st, Saturday morning at RuneVillage.
The bells were ringing, the games were starting, and the villagers were ready.
It was a special day.

Unfortunately, one person was completely unaware of the importance of that date.
He woke up just like any other day and decided to take a nice stroll around RuneVillage,
and very soon began to notice that things were a little different on that fine morning.
People were suited up for some heavy battles; some were heading towards the God
Wars dungeon, others were on their way to fight a three headed dragon. Two other
groups of people were arranging teams for Castle Wars and Clan Wars battles.
"Hmm..." thought the villager, "...must be those new PvP worlds." He continued walking
around the field, only to see more people organizing for something. Halloween had
passed, but people were just beginning to work on their costumes. Tal Set had opened
his house for a party, but there were no major holiday today, and it certainly wasn't his
birthday. A conga line was forming, but for what reason? And what on earth was this
'Assassins' game that people were talking about? It certainly didn't help that the rest
of the villagers outside were too busy training their rum-making skills to talk to this
confused soul.

Unsure what to make of of it all, he headed towards the RuneVillage Castle seeking
some peace and quiet. "I must've missed something," he muttered to himself.
"Oh well." Inside the Castle, and was shocked to see that everybody was partaking
in various kinds of contests. People were drawing, writing stories, coloring, identifying
items, eating the most unusual sandwiches, and using whatever they had in their
wardrobe to make costumes. Everyone seemed to be doing something, except for him.
In the distance, he saw Jackstick running around like a maniac, making sure everything
was going smoothly. The now bewildered villager quickly brought him to a halt and
said "Jackstick, what's going on? Why is everybody outside wearing armour, and dressing
up in costumes even though Halloween is over? What the heck is 'Assassins'? Why are
these coloring pictures and eating those disgusting sandwiches?" Everyone stopped and
looked at the villager, disgusted at his ignorance.

Jackstick leaned over and whispered, "It's the RuneVillage Birthday Bash."

I could sense his fear, just as he could sense mine.
I looked over at him and noticed the cool and crisp look to the blade of his new godsword.
I then took a look at my trusty whip. It hadn't failed me yet.

Descripton: Tzharr Fight Pits is a safe minigame,

At the top of the rows sat Richboi with five of his most trusted friends,
glancing down from piles of parchment that littered the desk and spilled onto the floor.

Hiker was hungry.
His stomach grumbled as his servant answered the bell Hiker had rung.
"Fetch me something to eat!" He ordered, clapping his hands as he did so for an unknown reason.

The servant, new at his job,
wasn't sure what to get him and he knew that if he asked his master he would be beaten badly.
Bowing before turning away, the servant hurried to the kitchen to find the chef.
After explaining the problem, the chef and servant began to panic.
What should we serve him? they wondered.
Suddenly, a brainwave struck the chef while a microwave knocked the servant unconsious.
When the poor lad came to, he was stunned to see a sandwich towering up from a plate.
It had to be at least a metre tall but...
what were the ingrediants?

Description:
The Sandwich Contest is a taste-tastic event which requires the following:
Bread
Mouth
Camera
Computer
Various Ingredients.

The way it works is like this:
Firstly, you pick some ingrediants for a sandwich. This is the second hardest part. The winners will be the creators of the funniest/strangest/best combinations of fillings, so you are going to have to try to top the rest. The hardest part, however, is eating it. Will you brave the disgusting combinations of marmite, coleslaw and bananas, or will you stick to cheese and ham?

Rules:
To enter, you have to PM ME pictures (a video would be preferred) of the stages of the sandwich being made, with clear shots of the ingrediants, then a picture of you eating it with the filling made visible. If the picture looks like you aren't eating your invention, it wont be counted.

Also, to prevent random pictures being taken from google of people eating odd sandwiches, make sure that when you are taking the photo, it have a little RV sign somewhere (must not be photoshopped on).

Returning to his newly reconstructed house, he decided to log onto Runevillage.
Staring at the white page, jumping out at him from the RVBB4's Colour It In event, he was struck by inspiration.

" RuneScape items will be partially shown in an image, and your aim is it to guess all four of 'em correct. There will be two separate bundles of four items, where one will be only with non-member items, while the other one includes member items. Be aware that you are actually allowed to look up the items in any database. Each item in each bundle is labeled with a number, which you will have to use in your entry form. For each game you are only allowed to submit one entry per week.

Out of the shadows stepped a man, wearing an unusual mix of a Pink Skirt and an apron,
ceasing the talk with a simple glare.
"Gentlemen... it is time. You will be contacted soon."
And so Assassins began...

Location: We will meet at the centre of Falador, the event will be played in the whole city!

Description: At this moment you are probably be wondering "What on earth is assassins? It's quite simple actually. When the event starts, everyone will run of to different directions searching for a hiding place. When everyone is hidden I will PM each of the players the name of the player they need to "assassinate" (everyone will have a different person). So basically, everyone who is playing will be hunting one player and being hunted by one player, but you will not know which player's target you are! On my signal, the game will start and your mission will be to find your target and assassinate him or her by trading the person, and at the same time making sure that you are not found by the player who is hunting you. Of course, you don't have to go out and search for your target, you could also just sit in your hiding place doing nothing, but that makes the game less fun and less exciting for you. If you get assassinated, you are out of the game. You must then tell the person who assassinated you, your target, so the game goes on. For example: Player 1 is hunting Player 2, who is hunting Player 3. Player 1 assassinates Player 2. Player 2 then tells Player 1 his own target, which means that Player 1 will now be hunting Player 3. If you have been assassinated it is your responsibility to make sure to tell the person who assassinated you, your current target. When there are only two people left in the game, the game has ended. The winner out of the two will be the one who has assassinated the highest number of players, so keep in mind to count how many players you assassinate during the game!

Remember:

The best hiding place isn't always at the top of a deserted building. Hiding behind a crowd will also do.

Keep your Private chat off during the game, this makes it more difficult for other players to spot you.

Don't go around trading players at random! The only person you are allowed to assassinate is your target.

Your target will not be someone who's not playing the game, so always search for a player wearing the outfit shown below.

During the game you may not: Exit Falador, enter the Dwarven mines, enter the Miners' guild or use the Falador teleport spell (or any other spell for that matter).

Description: There will be two sides to this event:

Free Drawing Contest

This is a contest in which you can draw ANYTHING you want (although anything deemed obscene will be disqualified automatically and you could be punished). It is quite a simple outline so no real problem should be caused. Your drawing can be done by hand (on paper) or by computer (on some type of program) and there will be a winner for each type.

"Happy Birthday Hiker!" Contest

This contest has a specific guideline. The winners (hand-drawn and computer-generated pictures again) will be the people who give the best drawn artistic impression of Hiker on his Sixth Birthday. Obviously, this means that you will be drawing a six-year-old boy that represents something about Hiker after SIX YEARS of RuneVillage. This can be humourous or realistic, but the best hand-drawn and the best computer-generated drawings will win the second Contest.

Rules:

RV Rules apply to this and every contest, so please do not draw anything inapporpriate or try to sneak something inappropriate into your image. If you break this rule, your image may be disqualified from the event.

Under orders from their leaders,
the Villagers scurried far and wide in search for items to aid them in their quest.
Paper, pencils, wood, metal, buckets and fish, just a few of the required items needed to gain the ultimate prize.
Huddled together in front of the judges, with all of their items glued to their bodies,
the Villagers prepared to make a complete prat of themselves as the Real Life Costume Contest began.

All eyes were on the clock, which showed that it was nearly midnight.
As the minute hand touched the twelve, several cheers rose up from amongst the crowd.
They were now able to legally drink!
There was but one problem facing them...they didn't have any alcohol.
Hiker, whose birthday was also today (although he was far older than the others), stepped forward.

"Guys, I have an idea!" he shouted.
"Don't strain yourself, Hiker," Henner sneered, turning his nose up at the elderly man
and knocking a poor Jackstick unconscious as it slammed into him.
This comment earned a chuckle or two out of the crowd, but people mainly ignored him.
"To celebrate our birthdays...let's head out to Trouble Brewing and drink the rum there!"
Hiker suggested enthusiastically.

After several hours of silence and much standing around and thumb-twiddling,
the pirate-for-a-day - Dark Paladin - awoke from his slumber,
and in a fit of what can only be described as an Australian/Scottish take on a pirate accent,
shouted, "YAAARRRGGHHH!!!! To Trouble Brewing we be sailing, the seven seas to reach!
Come on, mateys!" With that, the crowd, by now severely wanting some Rum,
burst forth and ran to the brewery.
The Trouble Brewing Birthday Bash was about to begin!

How to get there: You either teleport or walk to Ectofuntus (North Port Phasmatys) and then talk to Bill Teach to travel by ship to Mos Le'Harmless. When you arrive there follow this map to find the mini-game's location:

Hidden:

Description: Trouble Brewing is a safe mini-game, which means that you do not lose anything during game-play. Also, keep in mind that you must have completed the Cabin Fever Quest in order to have access to the Trouble Brewing Mini-Game.

Rules: There are not many rules for this event, just make sure to listen to the event leader, Dark Paladin, should he give any instructions towards the beginning or end of the event. Most of all, have fun!

I stood in the dark chamber drenched in blood with my fellow warriors,
we could feel it, it was going to be next one. After hundreds of fruitless killing we were finally going to get what we sought.

A crowd had assembled in front of the Al Kharid Duel Arena,
everybody dressed in Bronze and Iron, they attracted a lot of attention.
Proceeding inwards, they paired off.
Whether cheering and taunting from the sidelines,
or fighting to the death in the main attraction,
nobody could deny that this was the most fun
a level three ever had...

Description: For this event, you will need to create a new level 3 account, or use an existing one with level 1 combat stats and 10 hp. Everyone will be randomly assigned to an opponent, and the number of rounds will depend on how many people show up.

Rules:

You must have a level 3 account, obviously. In order to play in this tournament, you must pm your account name to my second account, Sheik. You will not be allowed to play in the tournament if your account username is not pmed to me, or if you train your account before the tournament. You can use any f2p weapon/armour you want, as long as you stay level 3 with the lowest stats. You will not be disqualified if you gain levels during the tournament (though it would be pretty obvious that you trained if you gain a level after one fight, so don't get clever!)

Clutched together in a tight waiting room, the warriors, mages, rangers, sheep, imps and fuzzy bunnies made themselves ready.
As the timer reached zero, they all rushed forward. Bitter cries were heard, mercy was not shown.
Flags changed hands faster then you could see, and eventually, a winning team arised from the massive battle.
Swords and other weapons drenched in blood, panting, tired, but happy.
For they have won two tickets.

Description:
In Castle Wars, you can not bring capes, or anything on your head,
or anything that is not armour, a weapon, runes or arrows.
The minigame itself is safe, you will not lose your items if you die.

Just as last years Birthday Bash Castle Wars event, this years shall also be
featuring a sign up. To sign up, all you need to do is post your RuneVillage Name,
