Description:
Here you will be able to compete in two different events. In one, titled "Where's Hiker?", you need to find Hiker's RuneScape character in the midst of a wild party! The second event, where you really have to *find* the treasure.... Well, you'll see!

Where's Hiker?

Uh-oh! Hiker got lost at a party and the staff of RVBB3 are his designated drivers! Can you pick The Jefe out of the crowd so we can get him home?

How to play:
The rules are simple. Merely look at the picture and see if you can pick Hiker's RuneScape character out of the crowd. When you think you've found him, please private message me (Blackmage172) with a circle around whom you suspect is Hiker. If you're correct, you'll win a small cash prize!

Rules:
Please note you must have been a member at RuneVillage for over a month OR have 50 posts to participate. Please, only one guess per person.

When Hiker has been picked out of the crowd 7 times, we'll apprehend the fiend and take him on his way back home. Thanks and have fun playing!

Find the Treasure!

And now for the main event: Find-the-Treasure! Here, our awesome board moderator A5chow, amazing administrator Glodenox, and that lousy forum moderator Blackmage172 have concocted a special challenge open to all members of RuneVillage. The image has been coded as to allow a special text box appear upon clicking a pixel. One special pair of co-ordinates has been programmed to let you win an amazing prize that increases every day! Do you have what it takes?

How to play:
The rules are quite simple. Merely click on the aforementioned link below (the "Click here to go!"), sign in with your RuneVillage account information, and click on the picture. A text box will appear asking you if those co-ordinates are the ones you wish to pick. Select "yes" if they are and "no" if you would like to choose again. If you select "yes," another page will open up telling you to try again the next day, or if you have won the prize!



Rules:
This event will go on until the very end of the RVBB3. It is open to ALL accounts as long as they have 100 posts or have been a member for over a month. Don't try cheating either; the image is coded as to only allow those accounts You may have one guess every 24 hours, so that's 30 chances to get the prize.

Prize:
Starting pot is 100,000 GP. Jackpot increases 50,000 GP every 24 hours that someone has not found the treasure. Jackpot resets to 100,000 GP every time someone wins.

Once someone wins, the prize amount resets and will continue on until someone wins again. Good luck and have fun!

Description:
This event will happen biweekly. When a Villager posts on saying they would like to sign up to be considered for raffle drawing, they then get assigned to the next number in order on the list. At the end of the two weeks I will then write the numbers down on a piece of paper and draw at random from a hat.

How to play:
Please post your RuneScape username and whether you are a Free-to-Play user (F2P) or have RuneScape membership (P2P) in [RVBB] Treasure Trail Raffle Sign-Up located in the Party forum to be considered for raffle drawing!


At the end of the two weeks, if you win, your name will be posted on this topic. You will be responsible for private messaging mooman45678 with the account that was listed as the winner to arrange a date, time, and location to pick up your prize.

Description:
A simple game of wits and exploration that takes you from one point in RuneScape to another! Find the item and the person to show it to to win...

How to play:
Arrive south of the Lumbridge Castle on time. The RVBB team member there will give you the instructions and then start the game. He or she will say a riddle/clue/hint that tells you the location of the next person and what item to get. Make a mental note of what that item is and head off to the next location. The next 2 RVBB team members will do the same, give hints as to what item to get and the next location to go to. After visiting 3 RVBB team members in three different locations, retrieve the three items quickly and then head off to the final location of the RVBB team member. The first three people to trade the last RVBB team member and show him or her the correct items win!

Rules:
All RuneVillagers can play. Anyone caught asking any RVBB team members what the items are or where the locations will be will be disqualified from this event and all other events on the RVBB. Your name will also go on the Wall of Shame.

Recommended Items: Teleport mechanisms (Runes, etc.) and anything that makes you light-weight!

Description:
Do you like pretty colors?

Then maybe this event is for you! Hosted by your lovable forum mods Goten and Blackmage172, we've made a fun little event to help dust off your Photoshop and Paint skills!

The plan is simple. You see, Goten came up with some awesome drawings but can't seem to find the right colors for them, and of course my pathetic Photoshop/Paint skills didn't do much. In fact, my color coordination was so bad it only made Goten go temporarily color blind We need your help!

Basically, Goten and I need you to come up with the coolest possible combinations of colors to make the new RV posters. Goten has made three fantastic pieces of art for you all to work your magic on, and he and I are even willing to give out rewards for first, second, and third place.

How to play:
To send in your picture, merely copy + paste the current image into your program of choice, then fill in the colors with the brush or paintbucket tool (for most programs). When you're done, save the image and upload it on http://www.imageshack.us or http://www.photobucket.com . Click "Browse," find your picture, and click "Upload." The image will begin to upload onto the site.

When it is finished uploading, go down to the "Forum 1" link, then copy the link and paste it onto a private message to either me or Goten. We, along with the other judges, shall deliberate over your work and see if it's good enough to be used! There will be three competitions, and please only one drawing per competition. If you win one competition you may still submit work, but you will not win a prize. Your name and drawing will be still be posted with the winners though

Description:
Yes, another fun-filled event in this glorious celebration of our fair village's birthday! Now what might an event titled "Mysterious Objects" feature, you ask? Well, it's quite simple really! On every Monday of November, this post will be updated with five images of items within RuneScape. The object (no pun intended) of the game is to identify just what these items are! Easy, right? Well, you might think so, but there's one small catch - The items have been zoomed in on, so that you only see an enlarged piece of them! Tricky, right? When the winning bidder has paid, the request is sent by private messaging the selected artist the exact details and specifications that the winning bidders wants on his or her customized pixel image.

Description:
Hi! I will be running a slave auction from the start of November ending on the 10th. Our slaves have to spend 2 hours in game doing a task that the winning bidder has selected for the slaves. When the bidding ends on the 10th, the slaves will need to serve their 2 hours within 2 weeks from this date. The 2 hours will be arranged between the slave and the winning bidder for the best suitable time. The slaves will not supply any of there own items, it will be just like they're off tutorial island. So if you want them to RC you would need to supply the essence, or if you wanted them to slay you would supply the food, or maybe even pay for their barrows repair if any . But everything your slave makes in these 2 hours are yours to keep, from RCing nature runes to getting abyssal whip drops.

This is a fun event for both you and the slave , all the cash that has been made from the winning bidders will be donated to the RVBB Drop party (so they can buy more items to drop for you). Also as an added bonus, both the winning bidder and slave will be added to the donations list an will get a free RVBB signature depending on the value of their winning bid.

How to play:
You are our lucky bidders that will get to have your very own Runevillage member slave for 2 hours. Now under each slaves name is a hidden box full of all our slaves' details, there are the slaves stats, there is an intro from the slaves themselves, and a list of the last 5 bidders in winning order. Now to place a bid place the name of the slave and the amount you wish to bid, at the very end you can place any messages you may have for your slave or maybe a person trying to outbid you

When prepared, meet North-East of Edgeville bank, in the small area marked on the map.

During the event, it will take place all over the Wilderness. Click here for a map of the Wilderness.

Description:
The Hunters VS. The Hunted, in a war to see who will win. The Hunted hide and attack, while The Hunters embark to find them, kill them, and reap the rewards.

How to play:
The Hunters will meet in Edgeville, and once prepared will meet outside of Edgeville bank. Once ready, they will embark into the wilderness in a hope to find The Hunted.

Any items are allowed, spells, arrows, sword, axes. Take whatever you need. Teleport runes are also optional, as are potions.

Once entered the Wilderness, it's quite basic. You may embark to find The Hunted as a group, and search all over the Wilderness to find The Hunted, using Portals, or just by foot. (Remember, The Hunted CAN attack you in order to win) Once the group has found the group of The Hunted (three people) they will then attack them, and if successfully have killed all three, you win, and the prize money is split between all partaking members.



But, if in an hour they haven't been found, they win, and the money is split between the three of them. The Hunted may do anything they feel to not be found, they may stay as a group in order to fend off their enemies together, or they may take the strategy to split up, making it harder for them to be found. It's their decision, and you have to find them either way. Remember, they can attack you in order to win. They can do anything but log out and leave the Wilderness, if they have, they're disqualified and the other team automatically wins.

The Hunted will NOT go farther than 25 Wilderness.

Recommended Items:
It is recommended that The Hunters bring teleport runes if they don't want to die. Also, high level food and potions are recommended to attack your opponent more efficiently. The Hunted may not use teleport runes.

Decent armor and weapons is also recommended to be able to defend yourself from The Hunted as well.

Description:
Welcome to the RuneVillage Birthday Bash - Fight Caves Event! We will fight to the death to find the awe inspiring survivor belong Karamja Volcano.

How to play:
We will all meet at the bank in the beginning ten to fifteen minutes before the event. It's suggested that you show up ten-fifteen minutes before the event so you can become prepared - the event will commence at 6:00PM - GMT sharp.

Once prepared, we will then make our way into the Fight Pits waiting area, and then the mini-game, as well as the event, will start. Also note, this is a Safe Mini-game you will NOT lose your items when dying.

This is an all for one event. The last surviving Villager wins the prize money of 1,000,000 GP. You can bring whatever items you wish to aid in winning for the event. Food, potions, armor, weapons, watermelons, etc. whatever you wish to bring in. You may also assemble teams, but only one person may win at the end of the game.

There will be five rounds. The person with the most overall wins from the five will claim the prize money.

Location: Meet in the Castle Wars lobby

Description:
You can sign up on this event by posting on the separate RV Castlewars thread. Note down your runescape name and your combat level. Elanthiel will split the people signing up in two teams. Team red will fight from the Zamorak portal, team blue from the Saradomin portal. three games will be fought.

Donut Juice will be in the Saradomin team (but not fighting), and H K (RSN: H K Legend) will be in the Zamorak team (but not fighting as well). People in the Blue Team will join Donut's clan chat during the game, people in the Red Team will join H K's clan chat. You should be on the clan chat as long as the game takes. This is not only to discuss tactics to make the game more fun, but also for administration.

How to play:
Please read this article from the RuneScape knowledge base if you are not sure on how to play CastleWars.

Please post the following things on [RVBB] CastleWars Tournament Sign-Up topic:

- Your RuneScape name
- Your combat level

The combat level will be verified for every application, so be honest about it.


Rules:

1. No Cheating. The following is forbidden and disqualifies you from winning part of the share, and puts you on the wall of shame, which also excludes you from other events in this RVBB:
   
   - Lying about your combat level prior to the fight
   - Joining the team that you are not assigned (including joining the other team to play up as a mole)
   - Claiming you fought but did not
   - Intentional killing of the hosts
   
   
2. Always stay in the clan chat channel of the Host of your team (Donut Juice for Saradomin, and H K Legend for Zamorak). Being in the channel is your 'receipt' for fighting, although Donut and H K will be checking if everyone in the channel is actually in the game.
   
   
3. Do not attack Donut Juice and H K. They will be in the CastleWars game, but they will not be participating in the fights, and your team gains nothing if you kill them. It will also be monitored who killed us, if you kill us one time too many, you will be disqualified.
   
   
4. When Donut or H K ask you to come to a certain spot in CW, we do this to verify if you are actually in game. Please come as soon as possible or we might think that you are cheating.
   
   
5. You are allowed to use the clan chat channel of your host to discuss tactics. However, you will not be allowed to join the other host's chat channel.
   
   
6. Be on time. Latecomers might not get part of their share. If you are not able to come online when the game is, please let me know on the CasleWars Tournament signup topic.
   
   
7. Have H K Legend and Donut Juice both added or have your private chat set to ON, so we can pm you if that proves needed.

Recommended Items:
CastleWars is a safe minigame. If you die, you will not lose your items. I recommend you bring good armor and (if you go as ranger or mage) arrows and runes. In Castlewars, you can not wear your own capes, hats, or bring non combat related things (like food, potions, noted things, gp, etc.). For fast access into your team, leave those in your bank.

Basically, I was chosen to be part of RVBB3, so when I saw the position to organise the costume contest, I leapt at the chance to do something both useful to the Village and fun for you to participate in.
Since sometime in September, I’ve been slaving away organising locations and judges, as well as prizes (Yep, prizes!) and categories for the contests. And now things are coming to fruition, how pleased I am.

How to play:
We will meet in Canifis BAR upstairs so as to prevent attention grabbing!

It is best to bank and then meet upstairs, so when everyone is there - we are ready and prepared to just leave.
Depending on your Quest and Levels will determine what route you take. But we will meet outside Barrows and make sure everyone is okay and gathered.

We will then send the 5 protectors* into each tunnel ready. If theres more than 20 of us; we will have to use each tunnel wisely. Remember some are on dodgy connections and 20 people in Dharok's tunnel could be fatal!
I've vowed to make all my drops from the Barrows to the drop party. But the choice is up to you!
