Yeah, I watched the original version of it (fansubbed) back when it originally came out, which I guess was a year ago?

Something I noticed when one of my other friends was watching the English version is that the English version's openings are like totally cut short and butchered. It feels so weird. I mean sure we don't know Japanese so the opening song wouldn't make much sense anyway, but how is that different from operas in Latin or Ave Maria or whatever? Some of my favorite parts of some series are their openings.

(And in fact, I took the SAO 2 2nd half opening song and made a parody of it for my CS 225 students last year to help them study for their final exam. It was greaaaaat. )
