Just finished Kotoura-san.

This was my second attempt at watching it. The first time I only made it to ep 4, before dropping it for Chihayafuru.

It's a nice show, but it's not great. Far, far from great. Most of the characters are one-dimensional archetypes, especially the two leads. The show is all over the place, it has nonsensical resolutions, and it has too many "special moments", each one feeling more forced than the last. You can almost always predict what's going to happen next.

That said, the show still manages to be kind of enjoyable, and there are a few interesting characters. If you're into light comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously (or at all), then you might like this show. I can't say it's a "must watch" or even a "must try", though.

On a side note, I've been following the weekly releases of chihayafuru season 2, and gosh they make this team tournament drag on foreverrrrrrrrrrr.
