Hiya I have checked out w3schools for css tutorials but got confused over the functionality of Margin and Positioning in CSS, both properties seems to be doing the same job with Positioning being a more advanced property, so my question is why the need to have both when either one can do the job?? can someone advise me on their difference and which is better? :D

After trying out the examples in w3schools, it seems that margin can achieve what needs to be done in Positioning, so why the both??

Margin sets the amount of space that "pads" the outside of the object, positioning actually moves the object.

It just depends on what kind of layout you want.
