I honestly laughed when they happened. I know it would scare quite a few of my friends, good find!

That was pretty neat.

Too much copy/paste work though. Like how the girl walked ahead enough to get a better look, but when it showed her at side view again, it was the exact same background used in the previous side-view panel. And the pose that the "ghost" was in just looked weird - I get that the artist was going for "contorted and unnatural", but it came off looking silly rather than creepy.

And I think I was focusing too much on the background re-sizing/blur effects to invest myself in the "story" enough for any shock value to be had. DAMN MY ART ANALYSIS HABITS.

Also I feel like I've heard/read this exact same story before but not anime-style.

Probably from every possible chain mail that has ever been created, back in the old days people still got chain letters and AOL was still kicking.

Saw Steely's Japanese-text version in chat as well.
At least now I know what it says... Poor lady, if there really was a suicide from that kinda grief.

Oh yay, English version! I actually know what the is going on now. A bit creepier knowing the story, but I don't like how it told you it would be a "horror episode."

More like: hmmm...this seems like a nice story...an innocent girl is walking alon—OH GOD WHY kind of story. And those didn't exist until now. Well they did but not in THIS context.

To say the least, this story is slightly more than moderately scary. The most is it's freakier than Amnesia.

No but seriously, awesome find. Well scared.

edit - okay, question. Does the ending imply that the woman walking around is a ghost? Or that the suicide didn't kill her on impact and she ended up walking around for a while until she died? Because that would be way creepier.

I actually wasn't freaked out at all by the first one. The knowledge that the second one would be containing one made me a bit anxious, however. Turned out to be not that bad, but still.

Well it kind of was; everything had sound effects.
