Never been much of one for flavor story, really. I might make some up as we go along, because vanilla is boring, but so is chocolate, so we'll go with a choco-vanilla blend of yumminess for this one.

Your players are:

Twelve strangers, playing for zero dollars. Among them, an unspecified number of saboteurs, traitors, moles. The winners? The ones who answer the question: Who are the mafia?

(and in case you've seen the show and know the types of things they did with some of their clues, don't bother looking for clues in things I post. I was really, really, really tempted, but didn't do anything like that.)

Rules: Read these, they're not your old rules (mostly)

• Posts my not be edited; double post if necessary.
• All votes (and withdrawing of votes) are to be posted in bold. If they are not bolded, they will not count. Be sure to bold!
• If a majority of votes are cast on a player, they will be lynched and the day will end.
• Days end after 72 hours or after a lynch occurs, whichever occurs first.
• Nights will last 48 hours or until all night roles have sent in their PMs, whichever occurs first.
• Roles will not be revealed until a player dies.
• You may not discuss the game outside of the thread (unless your role says you can).
• No "evidence" from outside of the mafia threads may be used (ie, the Detective may not prove he is the Detective by taking a screenshot of the PM saying he's the Detective, he must to convince the others he is without it). This also includes "betting" with things from outside of the thread (ie, "I bet you I'm an innocent villager, or I'll 'do something embarrassing!) unless this 'something embarrassing' is videoed and put on youtube for us all to mock for all time.
• Dead players will be allowed a single post-death post, which may not reveal any information, speculation, or other game-spoiling facts. Additional posts or posts that affect the bearing of the game will result in a ban from the next mafia.
• No posts will be allowed at night. Posts and posters made at night will be deleted from the game.
• If a player does not post for two straight game days, they will be sent a PM that they must respond to. A post will be made by the host informing that the person has been prodded. If they do not respond within 72 hours, they will be replaced.

Jackstick is clearly an impostor. I am the nocturnal detective, and he is masquerading as such to try and have me lynched. The loss of me to the town would be a massive blow, surely. There are, however, more pressing matters. I saw Topsummoner doing mafia stuff, and he is much more dangerous than Jackstick. Jackstick is a lost child, whereas Topsummoner is a careful, calculating evil genius who cannot be allowed to live. That is all.
