Anyone else dig this cat? I mean Cha! he's been my avator for months now, and I haven't heard anyone but Matt mention him, and that was in a pm........and that's when I realized his avator was H.S.T. as well! I know a lot of his subject matter is not to be discussed, so be careful, but, well, in the words of H.S.T. himself...

"I have more public support now than when I ran for sheriff...."-H.S.T. on his 5 Felony Trial

Is it true?

Hunter S. Thompson is like communism in that it all sounds good on paper.

In reality, he's just a coked-out gunslinger who really, really liked reporting.

However, I do respect his works as a sort of generational innovative milestone. Also, if I remember correctly, he had a badass funeral. I can respect that too.

Rocky, you made me LAUGH, dude. "Coked-out gunslinger who really, reallly liked reporting." That's awesome.

I think his writing style was phenomenal. Wouldn't necessarily call it a "generational innovative milestone", but rather an innovation still seen today (ex. Neil Strauss).

Haha! and yes, his ashes were shot from his quite literal Tower.

Something about him makes me loathe (but not fear) him; can't put my finger on it... :|

1. I wrote a speech titled "Football Season's Over".
2. Transmet is a great comic.
3. Eh, he was just a guy.
