Rocky -- He was immune to lynching and kills but automatically died at Day 7.

Tahu -- He gained Scar's one-time lynch immunity through his ability.

It was actually a bizzare chain of events that gave you the chance to win.

One of Tahu's Abilities was: When a player you are hunting dies, you will collect the bounty, gaining their abilities.

Night one: Tahu hunted Scar and Lander killed Scar. Subsequently, Tahu gained Scar's abilities: You are immune to one lynch: should a majority be reached on you, the day phase will end and you will transform into the Hulk, capable of one unstoppable night kill (roleblocks and protections will do nothing). You do not have to use the kill on the night you become the Hulk.

Day eight: The village lynches Tahu, using up his lynch immunity and unlocking his unblockable kill.

Night eight: Tahu uses his unblockable kill on Ex Rex, whose ability was WHOEVER TRIES TO KILL YOU SHALL BE LIGHTNING BOLTED TO DEATH.

Day Nine begins with three players alive instead of five, giving Defeat a majority all by himself due to his double-voting.

Lessons learned in Mafia recently: Fabricate a posting restriction if scum.
Lynch anyone claiming to have a posting restriction.
Lynch Defeat without a second thought.

Yeah, I did not expect Ex to kill me back. I think the lesson learned here is that mafia should not be given double-voting powers.

Nah, it was close to the end. If J would have trusted me we'd have lynched Defeat and the game would have been won for the Village. When a Mafia game comes down to the wire that perfectly, I don't think anything truly needs to change. Top did a good job.

I wasn't lying.....I really could only post once a day. I messed up 1 day and was repremanded for it. (lost the power for a day.) That's when I voted and said test it out...I just accidentally voted for the wrong person.....fail.

This is true, clearly I knew this would happen and allowed myself to be night killed by leading Lander on Day 1 knowing full well he couldn't get me lynched but would use his power to kill me regardless that night.

And it WAS close...but I haven't the slightest idea as to why J didn't trust you, Jaron. I highly doubt as a mafia another member of the mafia would let you lead such a crusade against him...and J was confirmed by Bluecoat, so there wasn't any logical reason as to why you guys didn't just lynch defeat before he could get online...especially in light of the fact that *someone* had doublevoting powers and you could have deduced it was neither of you. Oh wellsies.

Good choice in offing me finally, defeat. If I were in Jaron/Jay's shoes, you'd be dead. DEAD.

In short, great Upick game. Best one yet in terms of balanced teams, good roles with actual logic coming into play as well.

Thanks you guys for all the compliments! The roles are by far my favourite part of hosting Upick, so forgive me if I can be slow at times to update! I just hate to see anyone go a night without having a chance to use their abilities!
