As Chell awoke, a computerized voice echoed through the glass cell.

"Hello and, again, welcome to the Aperture Science Computer-Aided Enrichment Center. We hope your brief detention in the relaxation vault has been a pleasant one. Your specimen has been processed and we are now ready to begin the test proper. Before we start, however, keep in mind that although fun and learning are the primary goals of the enrichment center activities, serious injuries may occur. However, please note that any appearance of danger is merely a device to enhance your testing experience"

"For your own safety, and the safety of others, please refrain from breaking rules such as acts of unfair power, disallowing fellow test subjects to respond to your actions and other such actions. Please note that we have added a consequence for failure to act to these rules. Failure to do such will result in an unsatisfactory mark on your official testing record. Followed by death. Good luck! A portal will open in three, two, one..."

At that moment, a blue gate opened, allowing her to leave the cell.

"The Enrichment Center is committed to the well-being of all participants. Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all."

OOC: In case my entry post wasn't clear about it, this time around, the fight will be in the Aperture Science Enrichment Center. For a more accurate description; the area consists of several Relaxation Vaults (See image below), dependant on the number of participants, surrounding a large, tall room in the center of about 500 meters in diameter, which has an Aperture Science Emergency Incinerator in each of the corners. My character will be Chell, the protagonist from Portal, armed with the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device (AKA the "Portal gun") whose only special power apart from the weapon is to be able to survive extremely high falls, and the host is, obviously, GLaDOS.

In the complete center (about 1 meter in diameter) of the large center room, there is a constant amount of Weighted Storage Cubes that fall down from the ceiling.

Finally, the basic Battefield rules apply; No characters from the past two battlefields, no godmodding, no powerplaying, no auto-hitting, no Klinkins, and any of the other standard rules for Roleplaying.

Thank you for participating in this Aperture Science computer-aided enrichment activity. Goodbye.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this before, but like BF9, the four-day rule is in effect, meaning you have four days to respond to an opponent's attack before they get the automatic permission to finish the fight.

Vamp.

Expert in knives and has regenerative abilities from nanomachines inside his body. He can tell what a person will do next from even the slightest muscle movement. He has a large knife and tiny throwing knives that come back to him as if they were boomerangs. He also has some strange ability to paralyze you by piercing your shadow with a throwing knife.

IC: Vamp rose from the floor with a large gunshot wound on his forehead.

"I see... I have been taken captive... interesting."

Vamp looked around the small room he was in and noticed a strange voice. Soon a portal opened in front of him.

"I... think I'll wait here... for just a bit."

Abilities: He was known for his superhuman speed, strength and agility, as well as his freakish, fearsome appearance. His elbows were double jointed, and he had a long, lizard-like tongue, forked through surgery, that he could use to grasp objects. Capable of dislocating his joints at will, he was able to crawl, flip, and leap extremely quick in the manner of a spider, as well as, climbing and jumping around in trees with ease. He also used a variety of zip lines to enhance his mobility.
The Fear was armed with two crossbows. The larger of the two was called William Tell, and the smaller was called Little Joe. Some of their bolts were coated with the venom of a number of poisonous animals. He also employed grenade arrows, as well as ones that burst into flames upon impact. Due to his speed and flexibility, he was also extremely formidable at unarmed combat. To inspire fear in his enemies, The Fear used a prototype stealth camouflage, which rendered him virtually invisible by bending light around his body. However, being that his stealth camouflage's technology was "in development" during the events of Operation Snake Eater, it quickly drained his stamina and he would get hungry fairly often. He was also a master at creating boobytraps, and many are set in the area of the jungle where he battled Naked Snake. Upon his defeat, he detonates the Microbomb all of the Cobra Unit members were equipped with, destroying himself in a lethal shower of his remaining crossbow bolts.


IC: The Fear awoke in an unkown place, as a robotic voice spoke to him, explaining some sort of rules. "Fellow test subjects? So what is this, some sort of battle?"

At that moment, a portal opened on the side of the case was being held in. "It's time to unleash the fear..." The Fear leapt out of the portal, and climbed up the wall, onto the ceiling, crawling through a hallway towards the center room.

Name: John "Reaper" Grimm, or just Reaper.
Origin: Doom(film)
Powers/weapons:A machinegun with 10 clips, each clip with 60 bullets. 5 proximity mines with a bit of delay, 5 grenades. Knows martial arts. Has 24 pairs of Chromasomes, making him super strong, super fast, super fit, and his cells regenerate 50 times faster than a normal human, which means he heals almost instantly.( He can die, though.)

IC: Reaper awoke inside a small sleeping pod. It open automatically, and he climbed out. He was in a small room. A robotic female's voice sounded about his small room, explaining rules for a type of game, in which he had to fight other people. The voice said, "Stand back, the Portal will open in three...two...one..." A portal appeared on a wall, and he walked through. He was in a hallway, which he proceded to walk down towards a main room.

OOC: 24 pairs of chromosomes...what? That's going to be a stretch, even with the whole canon beating real-world science thing. Plus, healing "50 times faster" isn't close to instantly. Take a broken leg. Even with treatment, two weeks would be lucky. It'll take him about eight hours.
I'll be LEPrecon Major Trouble Kelp (Artemis Fowl series), circa book five ending.

Basically, he's an elite member of LEPrecon. Everything he has is standard for the time, but he has more experience than any other officer. He has the normal suit (the one introduced in book four), the standard helmet, and a Neutrino 3000 (a standard ray gun with settings from ouch to disintegrate). He carries the normal assortment of LEP goodies, including three pitons, some fizzers, a sheet of cam foil, and the like.
Note: Trouble has two forms of invisibility. His suit gives him passive invisibility similar to Halo-style cloaking. He still casts a shadow and you can sort of see his outline. He can actively shield, using up magic, to give himself better invisibility. When shielding, he casts no shadow and can only be seen as a shimmer in the air. However, the vibration hurts his accuracy.
BIC: Waking up, Trouble's worst fears were confirmed. He'd been kidnapped by Mud Men. This was the second time in less than a decade that a fairy had been kidnapped, too. The voice wasn't making much sense, but Trouble didn't care. He was going to escape the cell, blast his way out, and find some way to contact the LEP. Then a hole in the wall appeared. Taking his chance, Trouble flew through it...and back into the room he was in before, but on the other side of a plane of glass. That was weird. Ignoring that for the time being, he looked down the corridor and saw the back of a military-looking Mud Man carrying an automatic weapon (Reaper). Keeping unshielded for careful aim, Trouble aligned his gun with the targeting computer on his helmet, set his gun to the second most powerful setting (lethal but not disintegration) and fired.

OOC: Tahu, you haven't seen the movie, have you? A metal pole stabs through his hand, and his hand immidiatly heals around it. Then he rips it up through in between his fingers so it's out, then he looks at his hand and the only way to tell he had ripped it out was his glove was ripped.

Deflect attacks and immobolize opponents with a single touch
Messer: Jin Kariya's doll. Unlike most other dolls, Messer doesn't seem to be capable of speech. When called, Messer causes the sky above Kariya to turn dark and the clouds to swirl towards him. Wind from this release can be felt from very far away. Kariya's raised hand and the swirling clouds meet in a massive tornado, after which his forearm and hand cover in metal. Messer is a wind elemental that takes the form of a liquid metal sword hilt in the shape of the Bount crest. The blade is made of a spinning column of wind, resembling a drill bit. It can also use air friction to electrify the blade. Messer is strong enough to contend with Zangetsu, Ichigo Kurosaki's zanpakutō, and his getsuga tenshō attack in bankai form.

IC:

Kariya woke up inside a boxed area, confused. He had just been defeated and turned to dust minutes before, but was now alive and at full power. He then noticed a gate open, and a voice inside his head instructing him. Stepping out, he began moving around and looking.

I'm not contesting his powers, just your description. It also makes it sound like he can heal things that normal humans couldn't. Can he?
And I'm not going to see any movie that makes a superhero out of a normal person by giving him an extra pair of chromosomes.

IC: Reaper was nearing the end of the hallway, so he put his back against the wall and started walking like that towards the room. A second afterward, a laser-type thing shot past him. Reaper turned, and saw what looked to be a midget wielding a futuristic looking gun and wearing futuristic looking armor. Reaper shouldered his gun, aimed at the midget, and fired.

OOC: Remember, part of that "futuristic looking armor" is the fact that Trouble's semi-invisible.
Oh, and you're using normal bullets, right? Not AP or Devastator slugs or anything like that.
BIC: As the Mud Man returned fire, Trouble leaped back into the doorway and started firing back around the corner.

OOC: Yeah, Semi-Invisible. Not fully invisible.


IC: Reaper ran backwards out of the hallway and went to the left of the hallways opening. He looked around quickly. He was in a very large room, with many little metal cubes lying around and a big openning in the ground, which gave off large amounts of heat. Reaper then returned his mind to the present situation. As more of the lasers flew out of the hallway, Reaper went onto his stomache and crawled forward. He looked into the hallway and saw the midget was taking cover behind a wall. Reaper aimed a bit behind and way to the left of the midget, and fired, hoping for the bullet to richochet off the wall towards the midget.

OOC: Something I didn't mention, since there's no wild animals in here for The Fear to replenish his stamina for his stealth camo, I'm going to give him 3 rations, it's been allowed by Stip. These rations don't heal me, think of them as Camo Recharges.

IC: The Fear reached the center room and began to climb up the wall there, stopping at a good ten or so feet above the entrance he had come in. Sticking to the wall, The Fear pulled out William Tell, his larger crossbow, loaded a poisoined bolt, and waited for a target.

OOC: Nice tactic. Time for a Concusser (stun grenade).
BIC: Trouble ducked as more bullets whined and ricocheted around him. Reaching onto his belt, he pulled out a silver sphere and tossed it down the hallway, then ducked behind the door and set his visor to polarized.
OOC: It makes a bang and a bright flash. Unconsciousness, headaches, the whole nine yards. It'll explode about when it would reach Reaper, so anyone in the main room's gonna get hit by it as well.

OOC: Big stun grenade, and it works on light and sound. One knocked out an entire restaurant once, but it doesn't turn corners. But you're right, at that distance it's jsut going to be an annoying bang and a bit of a headache.

Reaper saw what appeared to be a grenade being thrown and bouncing down the hallway. Reaper quickly stood up and turned so he was parrellel to the room wall, and started running away from the hallway. He closed his eyes and plugged his ears as he slowed down, although he kept running. He didn't know what type of grenade it was, so he was prepared for any type.

Still casually walking, Jin stopped for a second, hearing gunshots being fired. He then saw a man jump on the roof, then begin crawling on the floor. Thinking it was curious, he went after him.

OOC: I was never crawling on the floor. I'm sticking to the wall about 10 feet above the entrance I came, so I'm at least 15-20 feet from the ground.

IC: The Fear saw a man coming towards him. He didn't seem to be armed. Not taking any chances, The Fear immediatley fired the poisoned bolt from William Tell at the man.

BIC: Seeing an object coming at him, Kariya turned his body to the side, sending the dart harmlessly into the floor. he then picked it up, crushing it between his fingers before turning back to The Fear.
