Just here to point out that I can post and I did back up my vote.

This game is very difficult to analyse currently due to the previous two posts However I do not think that DC1 is scummy for suggesting that I was scum. His reasoning makes sound sense to me and I will from now on strive to force analysis out of vote only posts..

Obviously Rocky Martin, Jack and Thyker all look scummy too but it seems to be acceptable to just spread your vote around with no serious views.

Before post edit: I don't agree that my posts before contained great details of analysis. I believe in fact they are fluff laden crap. I even dropped from Mafia 2 because of my amateur view on the game.

Again, at the time you were using information from a variant. That's hardly a reliable source to base an analysis on playstyle on.

That left two whole posts in this game for you to base your argument on how his playstyle has changed. You can't gauge a playstyle from that. I'm sure he didn't give heavy thought into his first D1 post last game either.

Well, 5 pages in before I get to look at the topic. I'm glad people stopped voting for me, though.
Anyways, my plan for this game is to try and establish a vanilla townie playstyle (haven't been a normal villager in...forever, I think. Rarely, if ever.). Anyway, that means I'm probably going to act like complete scum, make a bunch of noob mistakes, and you'll all lynch me in record time, at which point I'll be free to say "I told you so."

When I don't justify my actions, people see them as scummy. If I justify them, people see them as scummy. I blame the fact that I get lynched for being scummy whether I'm mafia or not, and as such don't have a well-defined pro-town playstyle. I'm also telling everyone that I'm a vanilla villager, and that if you lynch me you just make it harder for the town. I regret having to use this game as a "sandbox" of sorts, but since I'm mafia more often than not, I don't really have a choice.

Using 'scummy' almost every line isn't a great place to start. Honestly, we know your record and the votes for you were all jokes in light of that record. As you'll recall in previous games, plenty of villagers are warier about voting for you, particularly on flimsy grounds, just because of your status as the guy most likely to be mafia. Trying to explain any scum tells as flip-ups isn't the best way to go about alleviating suspicion. I can't remember if you've ever been a villager before but if you are you'll quickly discover that it's actually very easy. No need for plans...vanilla townies are simply out to catch mafiosos. Doesn't get much simpler than that. :-s

Anyway, Monk has gone strangely quiet. So why aren't more people hopping onto his vote train?

It's disingenuous to draw a comparison between Sweep's (apparently) serious vote and your obvious joke vote. I also don't like how you're effectively OMGUSing Sweep and if I wasn't after some response from Monk I'd be very sorely tempted to vote for you.

It isn't a OMGUS Vote either. It is doing what Sweep has done several times and I would have done the same had he voted for ANYONE else.
