Someone tried to kill me last night, my house was burned down but I survived...

Also I was either role-blocked or I failed to do anything, at least I wasn't told if I did anything.

Also, do we think Jack will actually come back if we kill Jesus?

I concur. We must lynch him now for the sake of the metagame, we MUST teach people that they can't go around claiming "anniversary" and expect leniency. Topsummoner.

Well, I would hope he is susceptible to night kills, so we may be able to.

Also to clarify my earlier post, I wasn't role-blocked. I was simply mistaken on how my actions took place.

I think that either way, Jesus should be lynchable. My oh-so-obvious but organized list of possibilities:
1. Jesus has the one-off ability to revive for any reason.
2. Jesus has the one-off ability to revive after getting night or daykilled, but not lynched.
3. Hesus has a one-off ability to revive after a daykill.
4. Jesus has a static ability to revive after a daykill.
5. Jesus has a static ability to revive from any kill but not a lynch.
And, the unlikely (as in Top is a noob if this is true) option:
6. Jesus has the static ability to revive after any sort of kill or lynch.
Oh, and:
7. Someone else revived Jesus. This could spawn a whole other list, but it's really unlikely. I figure, out of any role seen so far, Jesus would be the most likely to revive.
Anyway, I think Jesus needs to explain these "messages from heaven" that we seem to be getting. I'd be tempted to believe he doesn't have anything to do with them, but, judging from his D2 actions, posts, and claims, he was the one who sent that first note.

So you tried to shoot me and you shot Paidea. Somewhere in this jumble of mis-logic I was decided to be mafia? This isn't making sense at all.

I don't know. I think Top is letting certain people post ODP version 2.0 after they die.

*Looks back at Steely's list*
Ok, Mr. Nocturnal Detective, where's your magnifying glass and hat?
I'm not sure why Mentos is taking heat. My understanding of redirection roles is that they target two people, the user (in this case, Animal the sniper) and the target (in this case, Paidea). Unless you can show some proof that Mentos was aware you were shooting at him, your logic is flawed.

...consider for a moment the variety of options you've just unleashed and then imagine how many potential days we could waste attempting to work out the exact way to kill Muffin. He may be a third party, he may not be, but except for that suicide we haven't grabbed any mafia yet.

Now to today - is the sniper ever not a villager role on TF2 or wherever it originated? Because running through Animal's actions...

N1 - tried to kill Steely Mallon (claimed it was switched from Paidea) - Steely recommended Monk be killed
N2 - no kill (night ended early)
N3 - Killed Paidea (claimed switch from mentos)

As for his voting record:

Day 1: Didn't vote
Day 2: Didn't vote (Monk - a villager - was lynched)
Day 3: Muffin (vote then unvote), Sweep ?(villager) near the end of the train

I'm seeing something of a pattern and I think it's actually quite likely that Animal is a mafia-vig (to make up for the town's daytime vig) or a SKer. Especially since we have an apparently neutral role, but no third party so far and that seems fairly likely in a game of this sort.

For once, Tahu is speaking sense as a villager. Though, Tahu, there are more than one redirect roles. Nexus types, bus drivers, hypnotists, lightning rods... There's no telling.
As for the tool, to investigate a home, keys would be likely to be the trick of his trade.

Tweedy, what are you talking about with "Muffin may be, he may not be" a third party? It was confirmed upon his first death. Black name, in bold.

Then do they win by themselves (thus making them an enemy of both the town and the mafia) or do they win with the winners (making them an ally of everyone)?

That sort of thing depends on the role.

Neutral roles have very varied win conditions.

The Jester wins if he is lynched. The Survivor wins if he survives. The Serial Killer wins when he is the last one standing.

So Muffin IS a third party. His win conditions are probably odd, but just stop refuting that simple point.

Now, Tweedy, do you mind explaining your role? Or would that get you lynched like Animal?

If you notice I differentiate between a third party and a neutral role. Neutral means just that, neutral, whereas a third party is actively hostile to us. I've clearly said that I agree Muffin is a neutral role and I disagree with going after him on that basis when there are better targets and we aren't even sure how to kill him or even if it's possible. I also said Muffin *might* be some kind of third party role (which Top didn't rule out in that post you just quoted) but I think it's more unlikely than not given his apparent powers and possible unlynchable status.

As for my role, I can explain if it becomes necessary but it's a night role and of limited use once it's given away.
