Mao, insulted, grabbed the enemies hand and threw the man to the side a few meters before the attack could hit.

He faced the Szayel and drew his sword.

"How dare you lay your hand on me like that! I'll destroy you!"

Mao held his sword behind him and thrust it forward like it was a spear and his body rushed forward in a quick motion.

OOC: who needs a strong character when you can have an epic character like Mao that can do all this crazy stuff?

Suprised by the boy's sudden speed, Szayel barely had time to raise his sword and block the strike. He then proceeded to get to his feet (seeing how he was tossed to the side when he attempted Cero)

"I've finished analysing your muscle movements. By the slightest twitch, I'll be able to tell how you'll attack." Szayel sonidoed behind the boy once more, and stabbed at his back.

Having finished the attack Mao did a backflip that conveniently got him away from Szayel keeping him safe from the attack.

"my muscles? You're really strange. Don't think you can defeat me though! I have a 1.8million EQ!"

Mao put his own sword in front o him so that Szayel's would slam into it. Mao is pushed back by the force of the jab.

Szayel continued to push with the stab, putting extra spiritual pressure behind it, hoping to break through the sword, or at least cause the boy to be unable to hold his guard anymore. "No where near it. But I'll be able to defeat you without releasing my zanpakutō."

BIC: While walking through the empty plains, Boba Fett saw a young man wearing headphones just standing there. He would make a good first target. Fett took aim with his blaster and fired.

Mao pushed off of the ground with his legs and shot up above Szayel. He moved his sword so that during the decent it could pierce the enemies head. Mao's fall increased in speed immediately.

OOC: Ohhhh, somehow I never realized that what Top put in his first post was supposed to be heard by everyone. (Right?) Well, I'm still going to try to stay as true to Neku as I possibly can, and he handled the beginning of TWEWY the same way...

While examining all of the pins in his pocket and picking out ones that seemed to be useful, Neku suddenly heard a voice come out of nowhere. "There are others like you. Kill them, and you shall be spared. There are a set of rules here. Should you violate them, I shall destroy the thing most precious to you."

Neku looked around for the voice but couldn't find it, and scoffed out loud to no one in particular. "Whatever. The thing most precious to me...heard it all before. What a load of bull." He started walking straight ahead; since the whole place was barren, this was as good a direction to pick as any. He rumaged through his pins until finding one called Top Gear.

"Right...this one lets me teleport several yards at a time. I'll be back in Shibuya before...whenever." Looking up from the pin, Neku saw someone in the distance, about a hundred and fifty feet away. "Great, who's this guy supposed to be?" The armor clad man took some sort of pistol looking weapon and aimed it at Neku. "What--"

As soon as Fett fired, Neku instinctively dove out of the way. "...Another freaking GUN! What the HELL was that for?" Clutching Top Gear, Neku vanished and instantly reappeared a few feet to the right of his previous position, still 150 feet away. Clenching his fists, he called out, "I didn't do anything to you! Go back to wherever the heck you came from!"

From the top branch of one of the many trees in the environment, a pair of blood red blended in with the holes between the leaves as they scanned the battlefield. They could pierce the skin to see the flow of energy within the body, as well as analyzing the muscle movements within the bodies and the control of power for techniques. Being on the edge of the fray, they didn't have to turn much.

"Hmm... The irritated boy manipulates tools, and the man who fired on him has great ability but isn't absolutely amazing without his gear... That lady is impressive, but I haven't seen her at work. The crazy looking man is a one-trick pony, and the boy he's fighting is very interesting... And that spiky haired boy hasn't moved."

The entire monologue was thought silently as Uchiha Itachi watched the fighting pick up. Whether he was well-camoflauged against the tree or not, he had a good position to learn about everyone before risking fighting at all.

I have a bad habit of auto-hitting, but the damage I inflict has always been minimal if I could help it and only to set up for the actual blow. Still...

Name: Uchiha Itachi (referred to as Itachi)

He almost always wears his left arm lazily as it is, but I'm not afraid to use it if need be.

Abilities: He has almost flawless control of the Kage Bunshin techiques (shadow clones, which are physical clones of himself). He can manipulate one to be a full-powered clone of himself or seamlessly link his own attacks with a clone's. He also has an interesting habit of leaving clones in his place as soon as an attack starts, meaning the enemy wastes time running at and hitting the clone as he counters.
He has two very special specialized techniques. Amaterasu is a black fire that is, according to the anime, as hot as the sun itself. It will permanently scar the land and, as you can probably expect, is a near insta-kill on whoever it connects with, if it hits full blast. Tsukuyomi requires direct eye contact and, within the course of three real time seconds, the victim will mentally believe he or she is either reliving years of their worst memories over and over or are being physically tortured for said years. The complexity of the illusion takes up a LOT of Itachi's chakra (he can use it or Amaterasu about three times in a day), but will leave the victim virtually paralyzed after it's done.
To offer variety, I'm also going to use Sasuke's fire-based techniques, since they're both Uchiha. They range from normal fireballs to flames with animal shapes (i.e. phoenix) to wrapping an enemy in wire only to shoot fire down said wire, and anything else reference-able in manga I don't read or episodes I don't watch.

EDIT: I feel stupid for not including the very first sharingan-based technique the manga offers; copying an opponent's abilities. It's referenced quite a bit between Kakashi and Zabuza. ><

Szayel raised his sword, and gripped it at both ends, putting it in the path of the boy's aerial stab. "Haven't I told you? I'VE ALREADY ANALYSED ALL OF YOUR MOVEMENTS"

And not a second later, Szayel was gone... and then appeared behind the boy, and stabbed down at him, oddly like the same move he had just performed.

Kaileena was taken off-guard by the kick, and stumbled back a few feet. She then noticed the creature was readying a gun to fire at her, she ran towards him, slashing at his legs.

"Creature, what is your name?"

Mao not seeing his enemy anymore quickly assumed that he would again be the opposite direction that he was facing. He quickly pointed his sword behind him and began spinning, creating a tornado where he stood.

"Analyze this you freak!"

OOC: pointing the sword at you is merely to block your attack it has nothing to do with the spinning move. Honestly you could probably just ignore the fact that my sword went up altogether. The spinning is kind of like a second idea. Like if a ball was coming at you and you ducked but then quickly decided to catch it instead. Anyway it isn't a real tornado. It's like Taz from looney toons. All it could really do is some light damage and bounce you away from me. Mao only has one strong attack that I know of.

Jak saw the swords slicing towards his legs, and dicided to jump. As he jumped the swords, he aimed his scattergun at the woman and fired, while saying, "My name is Jak, also known as Mar."

OOC: Scatter gun acts in the way of a sawed off shotgun, with the shot spreading imediately after leaving the barrel, except it only goes a short distance, and is more like a visible red shockwave that can cause damage.

Itachi knew instinctively that the biggest threat was the sadistic-looking swordsman facing the odd, spinning boy. Itachi put two fingers up and concentraded, despite the technique being a second-nature move for him to control. From his perch in the tree, he watched as a clone of him crept up from Szayel's shadow and held out one dark kunai directly where Szayel's spine would be. If the boy's spinning knocked Szayel back, he would either land on the kunai or Itachi would lose a meaningless clone, unless he wanted to use it to fight safely in his place.

OOC: I'm not saying the tornado auto-hits, but if it does, you're almost guaranteed to slide into the kunai. Also, controlling clones from far away, for long times, or to survive as long as a regular person would takes as much of a toll on Itachi's chakra as the actual blows would on his physical health. So if you think I'm god-modding by spamming clones to take any future hits, I am keeping (an accurate as possible of a) track on Itachi's energy.

OOC: Does Amaterasu have any other effect besides being really, really hot and not being able to be put out? Plus, am I right in assuming that Boba Fett is immune to Tsukuyomi as long as he has his helmet on?
BIC: Boba Fett hated when his bounties took it personally. It probably was personal, but that was between his client and the bounty. "I don't have any problem. I'm being paid to kill you. It's standard stuff." Fett took the few moments of conversation to set his helmet to track teleportation. Continuing to keep the young man in his scope, he fired off another shot, and got ready to fire a third if his opponent dodged or teleported.

OOC: If left unattended, it will burn for about a week once it catches on something. So if it hits you, your only bet really is to get out of whatever catches (yes, that means clothes) and hope the burns aren't too bad. Considering the fire itself won't leave you much time to get out of anything, you either dodge it or wind up extremely wounded.

IC: Saint Dane was overlooking a fight between two swordsmen, when a ninja in a black and red cloak began to intervene.

Realizing the possibility of a 2v1, Saint Dane made another announcement, which would be heard by all. "You may not make alliances. This is a fight to the death. It would only make it harder on you to kill a friend... wouldn't it?"

Szayel was knocked up and backwards by the tornado, but flipped in midair and landed safely on his feet. It was then that Szayel noticed that a newcomer had come to the fight; a man in a black cloak with red clouds on it.

"Now, who is this?" Szayel sonidioed behind the man and stabbed at his back.
