OOC: Wow, this got pretty active since I've been away. My internet went ka-ploofity, so I'm at the library computer. It's dreadful. Everyone, try not to clump together if you can. In any good cliche story, the party members join one at a time spread throughout the story. So no one follow Armste and Raven yet, you can meet them later :D Oh, and thanks, Steve. XD.

BIC: One by one, my faithful crew jumped off the side and grabbed on to the rope ladder that was conveniently JUST long enough to touch ground. Armed with scimitars, hatchets and torches, the plundering began. I made sure my sword was in place at my hip and felt that the feather in my crimson hat wasn't crooked, and grabbed on to the ladder myself.

Once I reached ground, there was already screaming.

Ah, screaming. The sweet cry of horror that touched my heart so.

An old woman ran by me and I managed to draw my sword in time to gut her neatly. I replaced it in its scabbard and began to loot. Her corpse faded away in a red haze, and left on the ground was a small pile of coins and some jewelry. I squatted down to pick it up and spied the first house going ablaze and several shrieking villagers running out the door. It began to rain.

Why did it always rain when we did this?

OOC: By the way Quan and Brad, you need to see Stardust. It's amazing. And yes, I am dieing without MSN. Metroid Prime and Ouendan 2 sustain me. Kevin, tell the wimminz aboot my internet. Oh, and Jaron.

OUENDAAAAN!

I'll post my scores on your sticky when I get my internet back Friday. <3

OOC: Ouendan scores would be lovely. :) I tried to beat like 8 of your Breezin' levels, but only took back 2 or 3. :(

With that final tip from Raven gave him, Armste began his not so merry rush back to town. Of course, Raven already knew as if he was in cohorts with the people participating in it, but...Raven was totally for great justice. Besides the fact that he only used his last name, was infinitely cooler, and held most of his activities in secret, not to mention his sinister like laugh. Totally for great justice.

As Armste continued on his merry way back to town, he started to smell smoke. Smoke? It's only the villagers cooking or something, his heroic obliviousness allowed him to come to the conclusion of. As he came through the forest clearing he took a step back to discover the whole village was erupted in flames. It was as if the massive amounts of black smoke rising from above the treetops wasn't enough, and he couldn't see a torrent of orange destruction in the direction of a forest. Oddly enough, the fire stopped just at the edge of the town, as if nothing else was flammable in the surroundings.

Armste tilted his head slightly, staring at the flames for a second blankly. He followed this up by screaming and running around in circles wondering what to do, like every good protagonist faced with a problem. After about a minute of this, he stopped, looked again at the town, now a much bigger torrent of flames than before.

"HEY!" He thought, his brain whirring. "Maybe if I charge in for great justice, it'll magically stop! Stopping the person who started the flames is totally going to put them out instead of finding water or anything!" He said, a light bulb turning yellow over his head.

DAMNIT I THOUGHT I POSTED.

Token continued running down the street, however that's when he noticed Irving. There was only one strategy possible now, a jump tackle. Token jumped into the air, becoming horizontal with the ground. Everything began to slow down, other than his thinking. Token noticed that suddenly everyone was on fire. So were all the buildings...Very odd. However, all of his thinking was thrown aside as he and Irving fell down to the ground.

"Oh hey Irving, notice anything different today?"

"Oh, it's just you, hey Token, as for the only odd thing I noticed was... wait, nope nothing out of the norm, except that horrible smell of burning flesh again, oh well. I'm used to it." Getting back to his feet, Irving threw token off himself and took out a small dose of red potion. Plugging his nose Irving took a small sip of the potion, and was covered in a slight yellow glow for a few seconds. The small scrape on his knee had been fixed, leaving only a slight scab that Irving then proceeded to flick off. "What dost thou wish to do today, Token?" Irving asked in Northerner (fancy) talk.

Ooc: It's a common cliche for there to be parts of the world more rich or fancier than the other. In the book "Gunslinger" All the rich people were gunslingers and really good at it, they came from the west and pretty much spoke in "Old" English, Thee, Thou, etc.

None of the palace guards seemed to care as I left the castle through the large front door. They probably didn't know it was me under the robe, anyway. Except that you'd think the pendant would give me away. I walked down the steps and past the courtyard, ready to make the trek to the outlying village.

Once I left the courtyard, however, time seemed to fly by. It sort of felt like every step I took encompassed a mile, like I had grown to the same size as cities or something and was taking giant steps. At this rate, my destination was only about fifteen minutes away.

As I neared the edge of the village, I sensed that something was terribly wrong. A giant plume of blackened smoke was rising above it, and the nearby sky was lit with an orange glow. I removed the hood of my robe to get a better view, pulling my long hair back outside of it. A shadow passed over me, at which point I looked up and noticed an airship hovering around the town. ...What on earth? I stood there, dumbfounded. I'd come all this way to warn the townspeople that my Father was going to launch an attack, and what happens? The town is already under attack! How is this possible?

I clenched my left fist, tightening my right's grip on my staff, already predicting the answer. Father attacked early. That was the only explanation! My self-made mission suddenly changed from warning the town to saving it. Father called the attack, and I can stop it, being his daughter. I ran into town, staying in the middle of the road (since buildings on both sides were already ablaze.) It was then that I saw him. A strange man I'd never seen before, wearing a crimson hat with a feather in it, sword at his side, picking jewelry up off the ground. I don't know why, but I suddenly knew that he was at the heart of this operation. "YOU THERE!" I yelled, running towards him. "Stop the attack!" My Father sent his men on strange missions, but all of his officials were people of honor. Surely he'd listen to the princess, right?

Well, well. If I wasn't in luck. An absolutely lovely lady was running up to me now, yelling something that I chose to ignore. As she approached me, I smoothly scooped her up and headed for the ladder.

"We're setting off early, boys! Make sure no one stows away for great justice or anything!"

It was extremely difficult scaling a rope ladder with a flailing hottie in my arms, but I managed.

OOC: At this point, I suggest we break up into two parties. Irving and Token, stick together and do your own thing for a while, mkay?

We can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine

IE: Fine. But there will be dancing when we meet up. Eh, let's find Tim, kyle ;D!

BIC: "Hmm, the town's on fire, people are burning, and there's nothing to do. That giant airship looks pretty boring, it's your general 4th grade ship, run of the mill. Nothing special."

"Anyways, let's head on over to the next town. Where is it again?"

I expected the man with the crimson hat to listen to me.

At the very least, I expected him to make me leave town as he finished Father's terrible plans.

Instead, with no warning whatsoever, he completely ignored my plea and picked me up, throwing me other his shoulder! I dropped my wooden staff in the confusion, which left me completely unarmed. "Put me down," I yelled at him, now at point-blank range. "I'll have the king demote you for this!" I added, kicking and flailing. By now he'd neared a rope ladder and had started climbing it. I turned my head and looked up to see the same airship from earlier. Come to think of it, that airship design didn't look like one from the royal fleet. I started getting a sick feeling in my stomach, realizing I'd probably just done something very, very stupid.

Child had been closing in on the town, traveling randomly as people like her do, before the attack when she noticed the airship. Being afraid of anything technological and unnatural, she shied away from the town and watched from a conveniently placed branch on a conveniently placed tree around a number of other conveniently placed trees and rocks to give her the perfect spot to keep the town in her peripheral vision. "Nature really is amazing!" she thought to herself.

She was shocked at the following events, watching them go on for hours, although they seemed to pass like mere minutes. Even though people were dying, houses were burning, and things being stolen (even a girl, which was kind of odd to watch her kick and scream), child couldn't help but notice a paritcular epic looking young boy. He was cute. Then again, that other one who seemed to be friends with the cute one looked like a bad guy. Good guys are cute, but bad guys are hot, she determined.

After she was done thinking about this, the town seemed to settle down into a blazing aftermath as if on cue to her mind. She leapt from her convenient sneak-a-peek pop-a-squat and entered the town. Finding the wooden staff, partially burned and laying on the ground, Child grabbed it and held it up to her mouth. She could feel it's magical properties from a mile away. Oddly, she didn't actually feel it a mile away, only when she came within 8 steps of it. Regardless, she brought it close to her mouth and began to sing. The staff healed itself, and from it sprouded a leaf cluster at the head, and along it a vine pattern. The staff went from shoddy looking to Super-Epic looking.

Child planted the staff into the ground, button end first so that it stood upright. She leaned close to it and whispered "Grow, young one," and withint seconds an enormous weeping willow sprouted from the staff and encompassed the entire village, putting out all the fires and leveling all of the wreckage, tangling it up in it's roots.

Child stepped away from the scene triumphant. Sure, it'll be near impossible to actually rebuild the town, but check out the awesome tree! How epic is that?

Raven ran up behind Armste, eyes darting around for the cause of the flames. A stove left unattended? Perhaps a small child playing with fire?

"Armste!" Raven yells to his friend as he draws his daggers, "I think sky pirates me be involved! We should head down that road right there," Raven points the direction of the airship with his left dagger, "Maybe we can catch them before they escape with our vast amounts of treasure and women?"

Of course without waiting, Raven rushes off to confront whomever happens to be assaulting the little village.

"Hmm, direction to next town..." Point in some random direction Irving stated "...Well we came from this way and we were told to keep going straight no matter what... or something like that so..." Pointing in a direction exactly opposite of his random direction Irving began to walk "... Lets go this way!"

Probably by sheer Epic timing, Irving began to walk in the direction he pointed, hoping Token would half enough common sense to follow, and then BAM a huge tree, roots coming out of no where. Nearly knocked Irving off his feet.

"Epic encounter, Token we must!"

OOC: And here I thought Brad was actually going to get on MSN. *shakes head*

BIC: That Raven. Inserting a cool line and running off to brilliantly defeat the villains before the hero could totally respond. What manners. Armste gripped his massive sword tightly, and began running towards the massive shadow of the looming airship. Of course in the path of Raven, but let's not dawdle on THAT now! Of course, Armste could try to not let Raven show him up(let's not talk about conclusions either!) so he decided to try his best at this.

As he ran down the path towards the massive airship, now close enough to show a rope ladder and two figures ascending it.
"STOP FIEND!" Armste yelled as he raised his sword, now charging at the figure on the rope ladder. He INSTANTLY knew this must be the villain, and not any form of aid. How? Well just because! Stop questioning his hero's intuition.

Back to our story. Anyways, Armste charged at the figure who seemed to be holding...a girl? Armste caught a glimpse of the girl, and found her quite beautiful in the three seconds he's seen the small dot that was her face. He got the male version of being "weak in the knees" which was well...getting weak in the knees. Stopping in his tracks instantly, staring at the girl for a minute or two as...well..when saving anybody, you can dawdle as much as you want. Time magically has the effect. Armste blinked, slightly dazed at the sight of this...who was she? Didn't matter.

Armste heard a building crash behind him, snapping back to his usual self. 'Oh yeah, saving the gir..village. Yeah..right." He said shaking his head. Raising his sword, he leaped at the figure now ascending his rope ladder. He leaped high, higher than seemed possible, higher than a jump of massive heights even with the weight of his massive sword, high as if gravity didn't exist, high enough so that a girl in a burning building was distracted for five seconds at his height before the building collapsed on her.

"FOR GREAT JUSTICE!" He cried as he swung his sword once he got in proximity of the rogue. He knew this would somehow magically save the village, stopping the villain that caused the fire! Anyways, Armste called his mighty battle cry and swung his sword with all his might...

Only to fail epically by somehow managing to make his sword connect with the villains boot. Not high enough, I suppose. Gravity instantly decided to take it's effect at this opportune time, causing Armste to fall faster than a bowling ball off....a great height.

"Well that didn't work out too well" Armste said as he fell to his "demise."

"I love trees...but Irving, arn't you more interested* in the woman?"

Even if Irving wasn't, Token definately was. He tried to ignore the fact his afro magically became humungous, like how it was during his past adventure.

"Well howdy do, I'm Token, and this is Irving. Do you know the way to uhh...another town, not so on fire?"

*That was an amazing typo and you know it <3

OOC: I have other things I need to be doing, Quan, so shush. At least I'm checking in on the thread instead of just not posting at all. O.o;

BIC: "No, Armste!!" Raven's eyes widen as his friend plummets to the ground, "Fine then, I'll totally avenge you!"

Raven doesn't look to where Armste's body falls, he almost doesn't even care, and he tucks his daggers into their places as he starts to climb the tedious rope ladder leading to the airship.

"Why the hell can't I jump really high again. . .?" Raven wonders aloud to nobody in particular.

I opened the door to my cabin and politely threw my catch in there, woman and jewels. "Kindly wait here, would you?" I closed the door, trusting her not to try to escape and headed for the wheel.

"We're shoving off! If you're not on the ladder yet, you're getting left behind!"

Child jumped when the two boys (most definitly not men) approached her. Her hand was fast to her bow and it seemed as if the arrow simply appeared in her hand, although she merely grabbed it from her waist-bound quiver.

"A town? These quaint little developments are called towns? I can't wait to see more of them like this!" Her expression could only be describe with "^_^". She was so happy and joyful about what she said that made you think she was either insane or just maniacally* evil.

Child ran up to Irving and wrapped her two arms around one of his. "Want to go find more and see if we can burn those ones?"

OOC: Maniacally is right. Dictionary.com ftw. :D

BIC: Raven had finally reached the top of the rope ladder, carefully peering over the edge to make sure nobody was watching before he quickly pulled himself up. Taking another glance to either end of the ship, he quietly made his way towards several barrels near the ship's mast, picking one with several gutted knotholes, and jumped in. He slid the cover into position and wished that the ship would take flight soon.

"And then I can take my revenge. . ." He said to himself softly. The urge to cackle beckoned, but Raven fought it back so as to not notify the crew of his position.

"A bit young.. hmm, Oh well, she'll do" Irving thought to himself, hoping for a gullible young woman such as her would marry him, Totally oblivious to what she said other than "Next Town."

"Sure we can go to the next town," Irving replied in a jolly voice, "But, before we do I have one question for you, the flower of my life..." Getting down on one knee, Irving removed a small little box from his Pouch, in the process his small pistol fell out. In side the small little box was a ring so big, it seemed as if it SHOULDN'T by any means of physics even fit in it. Opening the box Irving continued "... Will you darling, marry me?"
