Tanksandguns and Monk Basher convene at the square. They wait for the rest, but don't have to wait long-- Landerpurex is the next to appear.

"I woke up with bulletholes through my bedpost." he tells the others. "Guess the mafia missed their mark. I'm thinking the other two, Aragorn and Penguin, are the mafia."

"Makes sense." says Tanks.

"What do we do now then?" says Monk.

"Well, I say we take a picture of the survivors, then come up with a plan to stop whatever those two are planning." Lander takes out a picture frame and hands it to Tanks and Monk. "Here, hold this in front of your faces."

Meanwhile, across town at Aragorn's house, eyes watch the square through binoculars. PenguinGuy puts them down on the window sill then admires how clean the house was. Aragorn's dead body didn't even have a drop of blood on it.

Aragorn Ix - Watcher, Killed Night Three

Back at the square, Lander reaches into his coat. "Where's that camera..." he mutters before pulling out a pistol. "Say cheese."

BANG BANG!

I would like to point out my surprise that we actually won. The mass-claim everybody did should have been our downfall because we were all the last ones to claim. Especially since both our mafia claimed plain villager when two others already had.

Do you mean the fact that the 2/4 villager claims were mafia? Read my posts a bit more carefully, I was basically explaining to the town that 2/3 cc's are mafia and I knew penguin was one.

Wow, yeah. I can't believe we won, either. I had checked out of this game awhile ago hoping the draft would be starting, but I decided to put in a last ditch effort.

And animal, everyone knew we were among the claimed townies. It was a matter of *who* and monk was caught up on mentos, so yeah.

Hey, I decided to go with your plan and on the last night I forgot to night pm. I'm sorry but mafia just isn't my number one priority in life at the moment as it seems to be for you. I voted on the last day for the person who was mafia, not my fault that no one agreed with me and monk got it wrong and the mafia forced a bandwagon. Original mafia is ten times better than these games, they are 100% strategy and 0% fun.

Yeah, mafia is definitely my number one priority in life. I even paid for paidea to go to the shaolin monk village to learn all of the secrets of mafia.

And I realize that you were voting for the mafia, I'm just saying people in general didn't know how to play the gametype.

Don't compare the other variants to this game, I had a feeling it would do bad from the beginning.

If anything, this setup was a game of 100% strategy because the roles are made public from the beginning.

Yeah it was pretty ridiculous the fire mentos got for trying to play strategically rather than intuitively.

Also I have no idea why Lander was not lynched after Tank's claim. I felt Penguin was fairly unsubtle, too, after mentos called him out.

To clarify, I'm not saying normal mafia is bad I just meant the strange variants, so less of the attitude might be nice.

I think he's giving you attitude because you're acting like you're the almighty judge of whether variants are good or not.

...this is hardly a variant, it's more of just a setup...

Well in the post where I said I would play this variant (or setup) I said I was weary of the way they play out, and in my opinion I'm right ( 100% strategy no fun). Either way it's just my opinion, feel free to think what you like about them.
