[RP] The might of one!

OOC: It's called a storyline, Tahu :-s

Most RP's (on the internet) favor Storyline above battle. Most RP's I've seen that is. In a storyline RP'it's important to read the conversations (including speeches).

Summary: Team meets, regroup in library, large army attack, enter illusion dome, exit illusion dome, Team meets Twilight Warrior, Twilight Warrior challenges them to a fight. It should also be noted TW is the first actual antagonist.

Faisceau crépusculaire: Generates a Twilight beam piercing whatever it touches.

And there you have it.

OOC: It says piercing whatever it touches doesn't it? And what would be the point of an attack that goes through opponents? Just post a storyline signifigent post already Tahu!

IC: Ray spun his sword rapidly. The twilight beam rebounded off of it. "Seems these swords can't be pierced..." he mumbled, grinning just a bit. "Alright Twilight Warrior. I don't know about these guys, but I accept your challenge."

Liz immediatly knew the beam would pierce through her staff if she tried to use it to block. It seemed to be homing in on her, so only one thing would work. She dropped her staff.

"Feather Blade!" For just a second, everyone was blinded by a swarm of white feathers. When they cleared, it could be seen that they had bundled together on Liz's arm, and formed a point, essentially turning her arm into a blade.

A sound like glass shattering could be heard when Liz rammed the blade into the incoming twilight beam. It shattered into four, each missing Liz and fading. "Twilight Warrior." she said. "The name's a giveaway... but why would one who resides in Twilight have control over darkness?"

The librarian chuckled at Sasaru's question. "Isn't it obvious?" He created a weak beam of darkness and fired it at Sasaru, appearently just to see if he would realize the 'obvious'.

OOC: So my sword did deflect the beam.
BIC: "You know, this would all be easier if we worked as a team. Anyone have any plans besides the usual 'Keep the cleric safe'?" Klinkin had his sword envelope itself in flames as he said this.

Anyways, I can't see a good place to come in or can't think of anything at the moment.

I understand if you don't when knowing it won't be that important to the story *cough* Tahu *cough* Now, time to revive this, again...

IC: Sasaru held his sword between himself and the two rays, and a small horizontal tornado appeared from it, acting as a shield of sorts. ((OOC: It's made by the sword, so the beam won't pierce)) He looked at Liz and her flashy magical weapon. "Niiiiice..." He said, a big grin on his face. After watching her shatter the beam, Sasaru looked at the librarian. "Ah well, at least I got me this book from you..." He said, patting the cover. After a small cough from Twilight Warrior, he focused his attention on the man in white again.

"There are some things you should pay attention to during battles, Elizabeth." Twilight Warrior said, motioning to one of his remaining Shadow Warriors. "Since it won't ruin the plans of me or my master too much, and because I like explaining, I'll give you a little info on us Twilighters."

"In most cases, whenever a being of light is destroyed by darkness or in reverse, they vanish from this world. But because of the two complete opposites those are are, will not both be utterly destroyed, but blend. Those blended beings reform , coming on this world with the memories of both sides. Those born from the darkness will have their dark side in control, those born from light have the light side. By becoming Twilighters, they gain minor powers of the other alignment, such as curative and even small holy magics, and will keep all their dark powers. Beings born from the light gain dark powers in a similar way." Twilight Warrior chuckled. "My case was different though." He said, when suddenly angelic wings came sprouting from his back. "Now you guys be good..."questers", and find out how for yourselves." He said, flying into the air. "Dôme noir." He said, and the room became completely dark.

"Now would be a good time for that flashlight trick of yours, Klinkin." Sasaru said, and monitored the air around him by sense.

IC: Nave shuffled his feet, "This is even better". Nave concentrated and his hands lit up iluminating the area around him.

IC: After Twilight Warrior's speech, Liz saw all black, until light sprouted from Nave's hands. "Alright..." said Liz. "Scatter, blade!" The Feather Blade shattered, and the razor-sharp feathers flew through the air, slicing through the few remaining Shadow Warriors, before dissapating.

Ray tucked his sword away and stepped over to the Librarian. "Alright Old Man... It seems you work for this Twilight guy, so tell us what you know and I won't have to draw my sword again."

The Old Man just chuckled. "Heh, you expect me to know something? I'm practicly on a lower rung than those shadow warriors. I've got nothing useful to tell you..."

"Flashlight trick? It's a blinding burst of light. No good for constant illumination."
Muttering a spell, Klinkin also sprouted angelic wings and caused his sword to glow, shedding light in a wide cone in front of him as he took off.

"So you do have a flashlight trick, Klinkin." Sasaru said, and raised an eyebrow seen by none. "Ray, mind cookin' up some ice powers with me?" Sasaru asked, and walked to the direction he last saw him, until he bumped against something.

"Whoops. Sorry Ray."

Thank you for being so kind of showing me where exactly you are, though I can see very clearly in the dark. Twilight Warrior said into the mind of Klinkin, subtly evading the cone of light. Now, both you and I know your powers of light are extremely weakened in darkness, so I'll leave you a choice. Now, you willingly surrender and follow me to my leader, or I will kill your cleric friend, and the rest of your friends after that, or you choose someone else from your side I take with me. Since I'm not the shadow the great hero once defeated, those butter knives you and your friends carry aren't as useful as in a fight with my lord, where they'll find their true power. You or one of your friends. Choose.
