The metal knight was shot from the gun, and flew quickly through the air. Before long, it was perfectly descending on Denny... "IMMOLATE!" he shouted, throwing a large blast of fire at the knight, melting it into molten metal which landed in a blob in front of him. "Close one... I'm going to need to try something different if I'm going to stop this giant... dwarf."

Meanwhile, Domo kicked his ram mount, forcing it to start to run. "I need speed, damn..."

And before he knew it, Denny was on a felsteed, a demonic horse that has eyes and hooves of fire. He kicked the horse and held the reigns. "Run you stupid horse, run!" And it did. As Denny rode, he heard the hooves of the ram flattening where he had stood only a moment before.

Not stalling, he began to ride towards the woods. There, the true survival expert would be decided. The ram had to change direction, which would give him a head-start. He would need to be hidden for his plan to work.

It took fifty seconds into the battle before Jeff's fears came true... The metal Vayne raised its arm and fired a metal object, too fast for his eyes to track, right at Belias. The beast was slammed and kneeled over in pain before straightening up and letting loose an ear-splitting roar, with red mist emitting from its body. "Whoa, sh--!" Jeff screamed and ran away to nowhere... He found a large rock to dive behind as he braced himself for Belias' Hellfire.

It didn't take long before he turned around to see Belias dancing around before raising his spear-like weapon. A fiery ball of light was hovering above him, which Jeff had to cover his eyes to even glimpse at. Upon doing so, he could see Belias in the light after it jumped, just before it fell to crash against the earth. A quake trembled the ground and it split, showing a fiery geyser emerging from beneath Vayne. Belias disappeared, and Jeff noticed the molten steel Vayne drooping. It's metal, Jeff thought to himself. Knowing that the enemy was practically liquid, he took his sword and charged like a madman. All it took was one well-placed swing of the long, heavy blade to rip right through the nearly-molten core of Vayne, which in the process sundered through his gun-arm. Jeff turned around and readied himself, knowing a second part of the battle would come if the... think, he decided, could reform itself.

Rat watched as the health fully disappeared above Kor. But for some reason, Kor wasn't going down. Rat saw Kor drooping. He knew what to do. He pulled out his special sword, the greenish orange one, and sliced off Kor's head. As it hit the ground, both the body and the head melted. The electricity from the blasts had heated Kor up. Now, Kor was dead, and hopefully remained dead. Rat saighed.

As Denny rode into the woods, he began to throw Immolate Spells at nearby trees. A large portion of the woods was on fire by the time Domo and his ram reached the woods. As hoped, the smoke began to blind the dwarf. However, Metal Domo persisted, by firing wildly into the smoke. Denny, having de-summoned his felsteed, was nearly hit a few times, and had to stay hidden the whole time to hide from the metal knights that were being shot out of Domo's gun. He used stealth and survival skills, mimicking Snake as he was in Metal Gear Solid 3.

The smoke was heavy and the air was hot. Denny was low to the ground most of the time. But eventually, when a loud bang flattened a small section of the forest, Denny knew that the fire had melted the legs of Domo's ram, causing it to fall on its side. Domo would be on his feet now. "I have to get out of the forest now. I can outrun him now that he doesn't have his ram..." Denny muttered to himself, crawling on the ground. The edge of the affected part of the forest was near...

Close by, Domo thrust his hand into the ground, letting his senses tune in to the forest. He was a hunter. Why not act like one?

BIC: Rat looked around, and saw more giant metal beings fighting others. Rat didn't want to fight another one, so he got in the airship and flew low towards the forest, which he could see smoke coming from.

"Torpedoes to the rear!" One of the crew calls out through the com system.

"Hard to port! take aim on the torpedoes and fire!" Xavia calls out. One of the torpedoes is shot successfully but the other impacts on the side armor. "Hiding in the dark will do us no good it seems. Detatch the fighters and run interferance patterns on the enemy ship then clear the area. Load the armor piercing jet propelled shells and prepair for volley." The fighters all detatch and start swarming the Urbanus and releasing smoke around it. Both ships move to higher speeds with the Urbanus closing in. When the fighters all clear out, the rear ports on the Silvana open under the launch deck. "All guns fire!" She yells to the crew initiating the large cannons to volley the enemy ship. The shells explode around the ship and hit a few times causing the cutter wings to break from the Urbanus. "Bring the ship about and prepare for point blank firing rear 50 degrees." As the huge wings of the Urbanus come falling to the field below, the Urbanus itself blasts out of the smoke at full ramming speed. The cannons already aimed, Xavia waves her hand and smiles signaling her gunners to fire. After all the shots, the Urbanus continues on horribly damaged and smashes into the side armor of the Silvana. The impact causes the damaged main engine of the Urbanus to explode and the wreckage falls down toe the field below.

Xavia takes a few moments to fix her hair after the impact and walks out to the rear deck. "Ugh, my ship... get that fixed people and recall the fighters. Bring us alongside that weird little pink FFX ship." She says pointing out the Farenheit. Picking up her radio transmitter. "I seem to have taken care of my problem here, if anyone needs artillery or fighter support just let me know. Lets get all this taken care of quickly."

BIC: As he found most of his attempts futile, Grant went for a more obvious one: taking the concept of a SR-71 Transformer, he had his plane turn into that. "That" was a huge humanoid figure, covered in scales of black titanium armor and wielding the gattling cannon. The two turrets wound up on the shoulders, while a giant sword had joined the wings on the back. The end result looked like a cross between a warrior angel and a big black giant robot. That would do. Taking aim, the newly minted robot slowly strafed to one side as it bombarded the sphere with fire from both the turrets and the gattling cannon. Just to add to the fun, the left engine casing came down from the shoulder and onto the left forearm, creating an EMP cannon. Adding some shots from that to the mix, the sphere disappeared in a cloud of smoke, flame, debris, and crackling electricity, but just as quickly plummeted out of the explosions and fell down to earth, unable to move but still somewhat intact, though it had stopped regenerating.

Rat thought to himself that he didn't like the red color of the airship, so he concentrated and when he was done, the color was blue. He flew near the forest, and spotted something moving inside of it. He said through his magnefied com system, "Everybody OK?"

As Denny rode along, having reached a section of the woods not in flame, and was once again riding his steed, he noticed birds flying about in the sky high above him. Almost like they were...

Helping Domo find him.

Almost instantly, Denny jumped off his felsteed (which continued to ride off into the forest) and shot a ring of Hellfire around him as he landed. A roar could be heard, and Denny spun round to see a bear, recoiling in pain, but turning bout to come and attack him. Denny quickly shot a Searing Pain spell at the bear, causing it to recoil again. He needed to stop this thing, even if it meant killing it.

Suddenly, his felsteed rode by, distracting the bear for a moment. This gave Denny an idea, with which he would have only one shot. He held out his hand, and dispelled the felsteed, causing the same soulshard that had came from the fly he had killed long ago appear in his hand. The shard ignited, causing his hand to be covered in a dark flame.

Denny and the bear charged at eachother. Time seemed to move slow. The bear snapped with its jaws and rose its claws. Denny thrust his hand forward. Only one shot...

"SHADOWBURN!"

BIC: Taking out the large sword and grasping it in both hands, the giant robot pointed it downwards and simply fell. Accelerating at 9.8 m/s, it was going fast enough to cause a shock wave when the sword hit the sphere, blowing it apart. Flipping backward, the robot transformed back into an SR-71, then into Grant's backpack.

"SHADOWBURN!"

BLAM! With a loud crack, the bear ignited and was sent flying back, nothing but a roasting corpse. Denny stared at his hand. It was darkened with a few minor first degree burns. A little price for his life. Suddenly, Denny could hear trees crack and... fire crack. Domo, AND the fire were catching up to him.

As a soul shard appeared in Denny's hand, relinquishing to him the soul of the bear, Denny looked up. There, the massive Domo stood, legs half melted. His gun was melted to his hand, yet un-usable, due to the mouth of it being melted and disfigured. Denny thought to all of his spells, and realized, Domo would reach him. Unless, he was to get on his felsteed and run. But that would put his newfound allies in harm's way. There was only one course of action.

He would use THAT spell.

Denny put the soulshard in his pocket, aimed at Domo with his hands, readied himself... And shouted it.

"UNSTABLE AFFLICTION!" shouted Denny, and almost instantly, he cringed in pain. This spell was too much on him. But he needed to stay up for its duration.

Domo, however, began to dissolve. It was slow at first, and quickly began to speed up. Soon, only moments before it would had dragged its stub-legs close enough to attack Denny, it had dissolved enough to completely collapse backwards, ending up in vaguely dwarf shaped pile of scrap metal.

Finally, the weight of the Unstable Affliction spell off him, Denny collapsed to the ground, unconsious. It began to rain in the forest.

OOC: It's only raining in the forest, for a bit of an artistic finish. You guys should be high and dry. But feel free to come rescue Denny now.

OOC: Yeah, it's been a while since I posted, I know.

IC: "Antiform won't be enough for this..." Vinas muttered. He sighed, and closed his eyes.

Suddenly, his hair began to grow long and silver, and his body slightly taller. When he opened his eyes again, they were of an amber color, and with an overall menacing appearance. He stretched his hands to the side, and soon enough, the Aerial Blades appeared from the palm of his hands. Vinas leaped into the air, and jumped onto the WEAPON's back. There, he spun around, creating a large crevice in it's back, in which he was sure to have seen something move before it joined together again, although not completely. Leaping off again, he turned back into his original self, and held his hand in front of him. Within it, Cloud's weapon from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, the Tsurugi appeared. His eyes also began to glow a bright green, as one would often see with those that were given a Mako treatment. Suddenly, time gauges appeared above his and the Ultima WEAPON's heads, and as soon as his was full, he went in for a strike.

OOC: Yes, I brought in time gauges. Makes it easier to do actions against Ultima IMO. XD

As Rat got closer to the edge of the forest, he saw Denny collapse. Rat quickly landed the airship, then ran over to help Denny. He got him to the airship, and set him in a chair. Then he started up the airship again.

Denny awoke slowly, several minutes after. He was still drowsy, but had forced himself to wake up. He was in Rat's airship, and saw Rat sitting in the pilot seat. "Rat... Where's everyone else?" Denny muttered.

Rat heard Denny wake up. Then he heard him say something. Rat said, "The others, as far as I know, are still fighting. I already killed one of the giant knights."

Rt said to Denny, "Well, now we know. There are at least three of us not still fighting. How about we go check on the others?"

To Jeff's fears, the metal moulded and reformed itself... The thing was nearly whole again, though still warm from the Hellfire. Enough slashing had set off the part of Jeff's head that let him know he had to finish this now... He could do it in one blast if he wanted, and he felt that power in him. He lowered his blade and concentrated on the Mist, much like with the summoning of Belias. He knew what he wanted, he knew how he was going to take out this pest. Quickenings...

Jeff kept his eyes closed as he raised one arm up and lowered the other, letting blades circle behind him until he reversed how his hands were. The swords formed a circle and rotated until he put his right arm up again and his left down. "Flame Purge!" The blades went horizontal and flew to Vayne, piercing him from all directions before the trailing fireball burned everything to cinders except Jeff's opponent.
He didn't stop there, though, the powers of Final Fantasy 12 spread a little further than just that technique. Jeff decided to mix fire and ice as he brought out his other favorite technique... "Shatterheart!" With a low, soft cry of effort, Jeff punched the cold air and brought both hands back to his sides, holding tiny ice-blue orbs in his hand. With a grunt, he threw the orb in his right hand to fly into Vayne, piercing him with sharp icebergs from the ground before hurling the second orb at him only to pierce him with another array of ice. Jeff raised his hand and blew away the frosty remains of snow, which travelled to the icebergs to float and circle around them. "Die!" The mist contracted and the ice shattered, along with the metal Vayne, so torn between melting heat and icy blades piercing him.

In seeing his opponent lost, Jeff broke his concentration and was left standing, as himself again. He turned to find that only Vinas was working on his opponent at all. One step to him, though, and Jeff found his foot literally stuck to the ground, as if with a magnet.

"Now, now, leave him to his work... If he's not strong enough to do it himself, he deserves to lose the fight. It's up to him if he's creative enough to win."
