Who do you trust? That's a big question I've stressed recently. You obviously trust your friends, family, and you trust Hiker and Henner, or someone with a shield next to their name. But yet, you wouldn't trust someone with few posts would you?
Would you trust me? I have lots of posts, but if I said I was going to mass pm you with special articles, you wouldn't trust me. Also, legends would blue card me for it.

I recently read a post in the Lumbridge Lounge, which got me really angry. This was different, seeing this type of thing in one of the happiest forums in the village, so it's different writing this. But of course, we all probably know by now that the account "Village News" was created. And we all probably know about how he plans to write quick articles on updates and mass pm them to people. He wrote about his doings in Lumbridge Lounge (LL). Instantly, people start saying "Something's fishy about this guy" and "I don't trust him!"

Why not? There were not going to be any links in the pm, yet, people thought there would be keyloggers. How could you do such a thing? Degrade an individual because you don't TRUST them? Then, of course, an unnamed individual first shakes his head at the people above him, points his finger at Ozzie Bond (who created the account for the newsletter purpose), says that he should know better, and that he's only allowed to have one account.
First of all, the account was approved by Hiker, which of course, Ozzie had already mentioned. Secondly, no where in the rules AT ALL does it say that you cant have two accounts. Now I'm not saying you should go out and make more, but here's what the rules say (AS OF JANUARY 1st 2005):

"In the past, some people have mistakenly believed that when one of their accounts was banned or warned, they could make another account and start fresh. You may not do this! If you could, what would be the point of having warnings and bans? If you are warned and make another account, you must choose one account. The other account will be banned and all your warnings will go on the account you chose. If you're permanently banned, do not register a new account on RuneVillage. If you persist in registering new accounts after being permanently banned once, we will IP ban you.?lt;br>
That means, that if you're banned, you can't make another account. Now read it again, does it say you can't make another account? Only if you have warnings can you not make one. Now again, don't make more, but people simply need to investigate before they interrogate.
So here's the thing, why would you trust Hiker, but not a small villager who posts that he wants to help the village by PMing them things? I'm really sick of this flaming and it absolutely NEEDS to stop! Many people think they understand Hikers village values post, but I have news for them, they don't.

Here's my challenge for you:

I challenge you to trust everyone you meet this month, because the world will be a great place if you do.
What would happen if we didn't trust Hiker? You don't know him at all... other then he owns a site and other titbits, yet, you would trust him with your life, wouldn't you?
