It came from over the Mountain 1

It was a dark misty day and the dwarves were mining their coal as usual. Bob, their leader, was having a friendly chat with Gunthor the Brave. Suddenly, a vicious snarl came from where the Oracle stayed, Ice Mountain. The Dwarves dropped their tools and all stared at the two black paws that has appeared through the fog, then, a pair or yellow, glowing and piercing eyes gazed at Bob, he dropped to the floor, clutching his throat as if an invisible hand was strangling him. A line of the best axe-throwers aimed and threw their axes at the mysterious beast. A reassuring 'THUD' sounded and the eyes disappeared, only to reappear again, closer and more threatening than before. Above the fog, the tip of two black wings could be seen. Out of nowhere, a gust blew the fog, and all the dwarves, away. With the fog gone, the dwarves rose to their feet to stare into the eyes of defeat. In front of them stood an enormous 10 foot high beast. It roared and an enormous burst of flame jettisoned out of 'its' mouth. When the fire stopped, smoke poured out of the nostrils of this monster. Bob, who had been hiding behind the table, stood up and saw the beast. He uttered three words." King Black Dragon!?

The closest dwarf, who had heard this, shouted what the monster was, hearing the vile creatures name, all the dwarves understood and climbed down the ladder, locked the trapdoor and escaping out of the backdoor into Falador. Expecting a glorious city full of kind people who could help them, they were shocked to find a barren wasteland of ash and charcoal, the King Black Dragon had beaten them there?
