An Interview With The123king
1. So, what do you actually do for the Villager?
Well…I write articles, edit richboi’s articles, star in articles, write more, interview people, edit more articles…that is it really.
2. Wow, so you do quite a lot around the Villager. What else do you do on Runevillage?
Well…I’m a guide editor, database team and general annoyance.
3. Nice, so for a member that has only been here for 11 months, you have achieved a lot. In that time have you made any good friends on Runevillage?
Erm…I suppose…one being you of course. I have too many really to mention, but yeah, I have some good ones.
4. You have to give a few shout outs. Come on, that’s what an interview is for.
Well…I’m good friends with Goten, the Villager artist and Dr. Henry is also one of my best mates. Glodenox became a friend of mine after I locked myself out of my account…Donut Juice I met on RS whilst training construction and Jimmybe became a good mate after I let him edit a guide. Ultragast was one of my first mates on Runevillage. Oh, and Gamestar and his whip.
5. Ok, that’s enough kissing up to your friends ha-ha. Let’s get down to the serious business of an interview. Please tell up a little about yourself.
Well…beyond the life that is Runevillage, I have been doing a paper round for two and a half years. I recently got chosen for the Gifted and Talented Group recently for physics (hey, who said being a nerd wasn’t good?) and an now enjoying my summer break./font>
6. NAGTY (National Academy of Gifted and Talented Youth)?
Yup
7. Dr. Henry and I are also members of that. We have a fellow nerd amongst us! Anyway, what do you think of the new layout at Runevillage?
The forums? Well, I think it’s great. There are a lot more useful (and even more useless) features, more colour choices for you font and a nice big font that you could read a mile away. But yeah, I do like it!
8. I think I have to agree that it does look nice. Don’t worry, I only have a few more questions. So what can we expect from you in the next few months? Any special articles coming up?
Erm…not really any special ones for the Villager…I’ll have my “Find the Examine” interactive to keep up with, general editing, coding and the like…but really my articles come on the spur of the moment, so I can’t really say I’m doing any special ones soon.
9. I see, keep them all secret. So, asides from Runevillage, do you use any other fan sites or play any other games?
Well, I do have to admit I have I have accounts for tip.it and even *shudders* RuneHQ. I’m not even active on them, don’t worry. As for other games…I recently got Guild Wars and am not level eight!!!
10. Ah, Guild Wars. I do believe there is an active membership of Guild Wars players on Runevillage. Do you ever play with them?
Not really. I will probably play with mogo and the like more frequently now that I have more functional Skype.
11. Good. Well, I did promise only a few more questions, so I guess we had better start to wrap this up. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?
At Runevillage still…but really, I plan on going to university, so I will be there about that time. If I get to Cambridge, who knows, I might be a J Mod for a bit whilst I’m there.
