An Interview With: Donut Juice

1. What is your birth name and your age according to your birth certificate?
My full name is Richard Martin and I'll be 19 on December 20th this year.

2. When did you first join the village and how did you find out about it?
I joined on January 10th, 2004, but I had been browsing the forums for months before that. I think I found out about the Village from an old friend of mine.

3. So, how has your time here been?
It's been great! I've had a lot of fun working for the Villager and browsing the forums.

4. When did you first get involved in the staff side of things and what made you want to do it.
I went to a private high school where most classes were largely influenced by writing, I learned to love the art and became fairly skilled in it too, so I decided to join the Villager on May 14th, 2007 and have been editing articles ever since. On January 4th, 2008 I joined the Guides team for the same reasons.

5. This being a RuneScape fansite you must have played RuneScape sometime, do you still play or have you quit?
Currently I don't play, but I've been considering starting up again.

6. What would you say is your favourite forum?
Either The Villager Editorial Office or General Chat.

7. Have you made any good friends while being here?
Gamestar and Andrey.

8. What do you find most enjoyable about RV?
The atmosphere of the place is rather cheery. ;D

9. How is life with a blue name different to that with a normal?
Sometimes I log on late at night and find myself the highest ranking user online. That's a pretty nifty feeling.

10. Do you prefer have all the extra responsibility?
Absolutely.

11. If given the chance, would you take up a future roll of staff mod/ admin?
Again, absolutely.
