Villager Spotlight - Zinyx!

ZinyX is a very devoted RuneVillager, who helps in many aspects of the site. His ranks clearly represent this, holding both Village Staff as well as Village Legend. We hope you enjoy the interview as much as we did.

What brought you to RuneVillage?

I can't really recall how I found out about RuneVillage, but I remember that I used some of RuneVillage's guides back when I was new to RuneScape. After that I actually lurked around on the forums for a few months before I decided to register.

What's kept you here all this time?

Mainly all of the good friends I have made during my time here.

What aspect of RuneVillage do you enjoy above all others?

The helpfulness amongst the majority of the villagers.

Who's your 'best friend' at RuneVillage?

I have a lot of good friends, and I don't think it would be fair to leave anyone out, so I won't mention them.

You help a lot around the site, what area do you enjoy helping out in the most?

Hmm, tough question. If I would have to pick one, it would be the databases.

You're both Village Staff, and Village Legend! That's quite the accomplishment, did it come as a shock?

The Village Legend promotion came as the biggest shock. I think that there are several other villagers who deserve it much more than me, and they didn't even get promoted.

Do you think you'll ever become a 'Stagend' as Whydidijoin did, having a cyan name and Village Legend rank (or vice versa)?

Hehe, that's a good idea. Maybe I will become one in the future.

What exactly made you choose 'ZinyX' as a username?

Well, I was trying to think of an original name without numbers for my RuneScape account, and somehow 'ZinyX' popped up in my mind.

What forum do you frequent the most?

That would probably be the RuneVillage army forum, lots of fun in there (JOIN!).

If you could change one thing at RuneVillage, what would it be?

I'm not sure if I really want anything changed. Perhaps letting more people help with RV 2.0 and get it finished as soon as possible.

If you were given the choice, what would you declare to be RuneVillage's official mascot?

Moosey would do fine. He's already one of the leading candidates in the RV presidential election.

What is your favorite color?

Blue, for no apparent reason.

What is your favorite movie?

Man on Fire. Denzel Washington does a good job in it.

What is your favorite food?

I don't really have have a favorite one, but pizzas are great, so I guess I will have to go with that.

Do you have any pets?

Nope, though I would love some. I've had some wonderful guinea pigs in the past.

What would you call your biggest achievement in life?

I wouldn't say I have any "big" achievements in life yet, just some smaller ones that I don't think are worth mentioning.

What annoys you above all else?

Stupid people in general.

What came first, the chicken or the egg?

The egg, obviously. I mean, how else would the chickens come to exist?

If you were given three wishes, what would you wish for? (No infinite wishes!)

1: I would have the powers of a god (Oh, the possibilities).
2: Peace on earth.
3: 10 more wishes (Yay for loopholes !).

In your eyes, who is the 'best' Villager?

A lot of things come into perspective when choosing the 'best' villager, so I thought I would name two. A5chow - a very helpful and mature member and Glodenox, a very hard behind-the-scenes worker.

Lastly, summarize RuneVillage in as little words as possible (preferably one).
