Summer Book Club

May 16th -- Ex-Admin, Zeta Animus, has recently proposed that Runevillage should introduce its very own Book Club for, what is for many villagers, the upcoming Summer Holidays.

After discussion took place in Hikers Campfire, Zeta then took the matter into the Roleplay and Literary Society, where nominations for books to be read have already started!

Zeta Animus told The Villager that whilst it would be nice to see lots of nominations for books, it is not necessary to nominate one to partake in the festivities.

Such nominations so far include The Lies of Locke Lamora - a thrilling story about the fabled Thorn of Camorr and his band of con-artists. And the family favourite Jurassic Park, a story about a secret theme park featuring live dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA.

Some more outlandish books to the current generation were mentioned in the discussion topic, although not yet officially nominated. Among them were The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Gas We Pass, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and We Need To Talk About Kevin.

"There are NO BOUNDS to what sort of book you can suggest," Zeta mentions in the official topic. "If you want to suggest a Doctor Seuss, collection of poem, short story, fiction, nonfiction, inspirational, philosophical, graphic novel, anything, don't let it hold you back."

Voting ends on May 25th, so in the words of Zeta Animus - "If anybody is interested, let me know mmkaiz?"
