Trying to find a truly scary adventure? If you answered yes, then get off your computer and head straight for your local gaming store and get yourself a copy of “Haunting Ground” for PS2. This game is definitely scary and will make you more agitated as you play it. If you are in its target audience, this game will make you smile in fear and panic, all mixed together in a blender like a tropical smoothie: Sweet and relaxing. You are happiest when you’re blinded by fear and enjoy a good frightening scream here and there. If not, you should forget about this article all together and move on… this game is clearly not for you.
You begin the game introduced to a women named Fiona lost in a massive castle. She has no idea how she got there and is extremely frightened at her new surrounding. As you explore the castle, you find pillars streaked with blood, angry monsters who want to tear your insides out and eat your beating heart alive, deadly traps which would kill you instantly and a few other surprises and twists. And this is the backbone of the game. You go around this castle finding out how to get out, while understanding that the castle is filled with hungry monsters and traps just waiting to devour you… This game isn’t recommended for children or people who are light at heart. Be warned and happy gaming!
