This guide covers both melee and range training. While it remains untested right now, we invite you to test it out and give us your comments; any revisions to the guide will be taken into consideration. A certain format is used in this guide for recommended stat levels. You will see a number lik this: 8 4 2 19. The first number represents attack, the second, strength, the third, defense, and the fourth, hitpoints.

Part 1 - training melee: You just made a new character, and you're looking for good places to get the first quick levels of your character. What type of pure do you want, and what level would you like to have? Level 21, perhaps? Or mabye level 34? Or even the lvl 47? First off, you're lvl 3, so any of those goals will take you a while.

This place, if you dont know, is Lumbridge castle. Two lvl 2 rats respawn here fairly quickly, and across the building, Hans respawns also. if you train here to 1 10 1 1.  It's a good level for now. There are also arrows(1 each) behind the ladder to collect, if you want free arrows for ranged lvls later. Just kill the rats and Hans for a while and you'll have 10 str in no time. if you get 10 strength, i suggest "wining" (the art of using wine to lower your attack level low enough to train on the dummies in Varrock) to 5 attack, so you can at least hit decent enough, if not, then wine to 10 attack. 5 10 1 or 10 10 1 is good start to any pure.

2nd training place:

This is the Blue Moon Inn, one of the best training spots in my opinion. A man upstairs and Jhonny the Beard downstairs make quick experience here for low levels, and some mid levels as well. if you stay at 5 attack, this place is good for the lvl 13's that so many people have now. Plus, if you have at least 10 ranged(I'll get to this part later) then its very good experience with those 3's you're hitting, on the crossbow of course. stay here at least to 5 30 1, which won't take you a long time. Next, if you want 10 or 20 attack, I suggest staying here and getting those attack levels (unless you feel like wining your pure), it's still not that hard to accomplish.

3rd place to train:

Ahhh, high lvl autoers... the monks' place is a very good place for lvl 19's and up. If you have 10-20 attack, this place really shines. If your going to have strength in the 20's, then this is a good place to do it. It might take some time getting from 40-50 strength with 10 attack, but I don't think it will be too bad.

4th place, for 30 or 40 atk pures!

Afteryou get 30 or 40 attack(somewhere in the high 20's mide 30's) you should come here. alot of warriors are here, and they respawn fairly quickly. since your 1 def i suggest death training((only 3 item training, and come across the gate when you die)) or having ALOT of lobs or other food. the bank is next to the grounds so its not a long walk to get more lobbies. you could train here till your 42 1 72 if you liked, the xp is that quick. this is the final place i find good for any mide 30's up to train. just bring food. also, if these places are packed you could try wizards or melzarz maze, but i dont really suggest either.... ranged time.

You should start here. The rats here are really good experience from 1 to 10 ranged. It will cost you about 50 bolts to get from 1 to 10 because of the non-drop system, where you lose the bolts/arrows. After this, you can go to the second training spot that has been shown(blue moon inn) and train range to 22 there. Now, if you want to go to 35, then you should train range at the monks. If you want to go still higher, I suggest ranging(free worlds of course) at the Barbarian village, then going to the Port Sarim jail. Range at the jail until you acheive your desired ranged level.  More to come next issue; keep your eyes open!
