Video Games
Make Class More Interesting
I had the unpleasant experience of watching the news as a social assignment yesterday.
It was the typical bull about how some person got shot and someone got hurt in
a car crash. If the news could have more action then it would be a lot more interesting,
but who cares about the aftermath of a disaster? It’s only entertaining watching
the disaster happen. So back to how much the news blows. There was one of those
professional psychiatrist people there, and I knew it instantly because she had
the 4 psychiatrist signs:
1) She was a girl
2) She was old
3) She was ugly
4) She had a PH.D
Now according to her, the reason children are so violent and are doing so bad
in school is video games. Her speech went something like this: "Peer pressure
has always been an issue for young people, but today, with family structure more
fractionalized and in chaos, friends are often more an influence than family and
home. Video games are coming under increasing fire for graphic violence, wholesale
death and destruction." After reading this I was puzzled. How the hell did she
go from talking about peer pressure to how bad videogames are? The two topics
are totally unrelated. Nonetheless, she still insulted videogames, and that's
why the truth must be spread. Videogames make each class more interesting.
English

When I read this horrible novel, my computer was in repair, but this book won
around 4000 awards. So, you probably have the right to assume that a book with
so many awards under its belt would be half decent. WRONG! This book is worse
than William Hung's breath. However, if I would have had my computer at the time
then maybe I would have found it entertaining.
Math

Math has proven to me time and time again that it is useless. It’s horribly boring
and hard. This is where video game playing comes in handy: the more games you
play, the more you can focus on your work. Your mark should go up 5% for each
hour you play video games.
Science

NASA spent over a billion dollars sending a little robot to Mars. All this little
machine does is take pictures. It doesn't even have a laser gun on it for god’s
sake! It can go over rocks, though! Will it be protected from the various forms
of aliens that must live on Mars? Nonetheless, all that we get for a billion dollars
is some lame pictures of a dry planet. Science blows, and it will take a lot of
videogames to improve science.
There are countless other areas where videogames will help you out in, like fighting.
Imagine how fast you can win a fight now that you know Spawn's finishing move!
So now that you know how much videogames help everyone, you must spread the message
to everyone you know.
Video games help all kids learn.
