Each team has 5 players consisting of the captains which play center field, a right wingman, a left wingman, a defenceman and, of course, our beloved goalie. The game is played much like soccer with the ball going down the field at will of the players. The goalies cannot leave their crease of the goal which is a circle witha diamter of 2 feet around the goal. The center fieldman, right wingman and left wingman can go wherever they want in the field. The defenceman cannot cross “half field” wich is a line halfway across the field. The offensemen cannot go into the goalies crease, if they do, it is a foul and will result in a penalty shot which is a quarter of the field from the goal. It is a one on one the goalie vs the player. Out of bounds results in the penalty of the other team getting the ball at half field. Hitting, using the elbows, tripping, and anything of that sort is allowed; no guts no glory! The players play the game to score not to hit, though. A team scores by putting the ball past the goalie into the goal. It has 3 periods of playing time of 5 minutes each and ties result in a shootout. A shootout has all players from the team having a penalty shot on the goalie. Those goals add on to the final score and if at the end of that there is a tie the game continues until one team goes a full round untied. The playoffs are to be determined and will have different rules.

Ok here we are in the first period and a coin toss determined team moderators will get the ball first. Chroz puts it out there soaring with a kick from center field. Meepster catches it in midair and sends it the other way. Draco passes it to Jmd who then quickly passes to blade tip. It pops it in the air with a lobbed kick right into Chroz’s already started forward side swing but is knocked down by Cosmos who takes the ball. He gets past center field, into scoring range all alone, him and NintendoDude, he shoots quickly and its a goaaaal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first goal of the OGSL scored by Cosmos of team admins. Admins lead 1-0 as the mods get set up at center field. The clock shows 3 minutes left. Chroz sets up for the kick off and puts it out of bounds right over Meeps' head. Cosmos signals Fant to take the out of bounds kick. Fant passes over a half field to Cosmos who is already in the passing swing to Punk who taps it in for a goal. But wait, the referee steps in and is signaling the no goal sign. He's pondering about it, but once again the no goal sign. Punk steppes in the crease. The clock shows 0 seconds but we will conclude the period with a penalty shot. The huddle is broken and it appears as if bladetip is going to take the shot. I don’t believe my eyes, the defenceman is taking the penalty shot. Draco starts and fakes a shot to the left and meepster dives like an idiot after a ball that’s not coming and dark merely taps it in with his foot for an easy 1-1 tie. The home crowd is going wild after that great tie score.

Im here with Nintendo the goalie of the mods and he has agreed to an interview. “So what are your thoughts on the game so far ND?” “well I thought I should've definitely blocked that shot early in the game but other than that I thought we really moved the ball, now if you don’t mind I got to get back to the locker room and get scolded by Chroz.” “Ok ND, thanks for the interview.” Ok, we're going to take a short commercial break and be back when period 2 starts.

Ok, we're here at the start of period 2 and Cosmos lines up at center field for the starter kick. He sends it soaring high in the sky. Wow, can we get a hangtime count. 4.9 seconds of hangtime, wow, amazing. Well the crowd is astonished as the guest fans chant Cosmos out loud. It was long enough for Punk to get down the field and get a kick towards the goal but it is kicked away by NintendoDude. Draco picks up the ball from the block by ND and shoots it down into the defending territory. Bladetip is really racing for that ball but he's really got to hustle to get there before euph..and OH MY GOD HE MADE IT! He jukes out euph and sets up for a kick but the ball is smoothly stolen by Cosmos. Blade falls backward after the missed kick so it’s a full assault 3 on 2. Cosmos passes to Punk but is hit by Jmd right after the kick is off. Its an old fashion 2 on 1 and ND screams for Dark to take the passer. Well Dark didn’t understand that he just meant cover him so he trips Fant when he wasn’t looking and rushes towards Punk. Punk shoots but it is headbutted away by ND. That concludes period 2 with no goals scored. A 1-1 tie still remains.

Im here with Meepster, the goalie of Team admins. “Meepster how do you feel about being visitor and your team obviously dominating the field?” “Well cow I think we came here to win and we're just keeping it up in their end and away from me.” “well thanks for your team Meepster and good luck in the final period” We're gonna take another commercial brake and well be back in time for the 3rd period.

Ladies and gentlemen were back with the final period of the game. Chroz lines up for the final starting kick and soars the ball right into the face of Meepster, that’s got to hurt….and wow the entire offense of the mods has rushed in obvsiously trying to make a goal. The offense has already passed the 3 obviously stunned offensemen of the admins and the admins just keep running past them. What kind of play is this. Euph is just standing there calmly with the ball and at the last second…….HE FLIPS IT OVER THEIR HEADS AND DOWN THE FIELD, IT’S A 3 ON 0 AND THE GOALIE DOESN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO! They're just confusing ND right now and finally his offense is rushing back. Cosmos to Fant, Fant to Punk, Punk back to Cosmos and Cosmos to Fant. Fant takes the shot but it is by ND. It rebounds and is picked up by cosmos who tries to slam it in there but it's stopped by ND. ND is just taking shot after shot and his offense finally gets back. 5 shots stopped 3 on 0 wow amazing goal defending by ND. Draco just slams the ball to the other end of the field to give ND a little break. There's 2 minutes left in the period as euph picks up the ball and sends it back to Meepster. Meepster picks up with his hands because ladies and gentlemen he is the only one allowed to do so. Meepster winds up for a goalie kick and sends it all the down the field 3 feet from the goalie crease and here comes Cosmos. Cosmos goes left and shoots but it is blocked by ND, but Fant is there for the rebound, he shoves it in to give the admins a 2-1 lead. With 7 seconds left I don’t think there's much left for the mods. They take the starter kick at halfway and 5,4,3,2,1, and euph holds the ball to finish off the game with the admins winning 2-1 against the mods.
