CONKER LIVE AND RELOADED

Platform: Xbox
Rating: M (Mature)

Trying to find a game with cute little critters, a funny and amusing plot filled with lots of vulgar language? If you answered “yes” to those questions, then you’re in luck because Xbox has released “Conker Live and Reloaded”, a “sequel” to the hit game for the N64 platform.

In the spring of 2001, Conker’s Bad Fur Day was released for the Nintendo 64 to critical acclaim but hardly any sales. Its hero was a charming squirrel named Conker who was an alcoholic. When we are first introduced to Conker, we see him getting wasted in a Pub after drinking many pints of hard liquor. Eventually, he gets so drunk, he falls unconscious and finds himself lost in a farmer’s field when he wakes up. Now, he’s on a quest to find his home and go to sleep in his own bed!

Depending on how you look at things, Conker Live and Reloaded is either a remake of a four-year-old game with a new multiplayer mode or an entirely new game that, as bonus, throws in a remake of a four-year-old game. Either way, it’s a hilarious game that gives you 15 hours of great entertainment that you won’t want to miss out on.

You will be happy to hear that almost all the features that made the original game so great has been transferred to the Xbox version!

On a side note, Micorsoft is trying hard to get everyone’s attention on the fact that this version on Conkers has an added multiplayer feature that allows you to play as either a squirrel or a teddy bear in a fierce battle of heavy killing and bloodshed.

Overall, this game isn’t groundbreaking, but is decent enough that you to try it out. I give it 3.5/5.

Happy Gaming.
